Lost and Dead

Black Bear Hamster
We lost one of our bear hamsters when she got out of her cage about a month ago and never found her. We did find her sister and she just passed about 2 days ago. Mianna was not real sad, but we might get a new baby one day.

Drained

I got up this morning to call my job and tell them I'm sick!!!!! I am sick! I'm drained to the bone, my body is so week and my head feels as heavy as a bowling ball. I took some Day time medicine and it did clear up my nose so I can breath now, but I just feel week and limp. I spoke with my neighbor about doing our gutters and so it looks like we will probably get our gutters up in the next few weeks. I have plans with a few girls from work tomorrow to just hang out and do some shopping but if I don't feel so hot tomorrow we might have to cancel. My job asked me to work from 10-2 tomorrow and it's suppose to be my day off. I'm probably have to go in sick and all. O well. Looks like the cold that Mianna and Rich have had for 2 weeks now is finally catching up to me and this is how it usually goes within our little circle of sickness. Moms always get sick last because they need all there energy to take car of the kids and husband. Then when we are sick , no one takes car of us. :0(

Home early

I woke up this morning and felt sick. =( Mianna and Rich had been sick for a bout a week now and yesterday I was thinking , my time will be coming soon since I usually get sick after they get sick. My throat felt sore this morning and my nose was clogged. I decided to just go into work and that was a big mistake. I felt a little dizzy at work and so I decided to call it a day after 4 hours and I'm home now. I just had to check my email and now I"m off to rest. I Hate having a cold in hot weather.

Unsteadiness

Uah... I guess my dizzyness was still precent after that taunting test at the Dr office today. I hope I return to normal soon. I just have a sence of unsteadiness, no spinning, but more like a sway from side to side or front to back. I took Miannas computer in to have it upgraded with memory and a new video card if needed. I would have done it my self but the shop I normally go to had moved and so I found a new shop and just decided to have them do it for me. I love taking computers apart and messing with the inner workings, ehhehe. I need to spend my off time catching up on house work and laundry. I need a maid. With two jobs I will be so spent and not able to keep up on my house work. My daughter will have to step up and really start cleaning. We are thinking about sending her to Hawaii for the summer, but not sure if she wants to go yet. My friends mom lives in Hawaii and had asked if Mianna wanted to come out with her grandaughter for the summer. If I was Mianna I would go! After the computer store I took Mianna to watch Scary Movie4 and then out for an ice cream treat.

Minature Horse

I was at my Dr appointment today and this lady had a minutre hores for a guide named Conffetti. She had such soft hair and nibbled on my leg a little. I really got a kick out of Conffetti and instantly took a picture with my cell phone along with video and I blogged it from the Dr's office. ehehhe. My testing went well, but they did find that I am missing about 75% of my balance and it stems from a vistibular problem. I will have to do some physical therapy to retrain my brain to register my movement and balance and I should be a Okay again. I can't believe my brain had only been operation on 25% balance... that is a huge percentage. It's not only the barin, but my ear balance and the brain registering the balance.... WOW, anyways, I'm on my way to more recovery and I feel good about it. Todays tests made me so dizzy that it brought back memories of a few months ago when I was having bad vertigo.

New Job

I got the job.. LOL, not even sure if I told you all but I went for an interview a few weeks ago and I ended up landing the Job. I turned in my resignation from CRC on monday but today decided that I want to take it back, I know I'm crazy...... My Big boss said that he would love to see me stay and wanted to know the reason for me leaving in the first place. I told him it's not that I'm not happy, because I am happy from time to time at my current job, it's just strickly the money. I want to give this new job a try and see if I'm any good at it and if I excell I could make way more than my current position and have more freedom to save, invest, pay down my cars!!! and SAVE!!! I want to buy a second home as well. I'm trying to be super woman and work two jobs. My big boss said it was all okay with him but he was leaving the final say up to his right hand lady and she will make the final say as to if they will take back my resignation. If she says yes I'll be happy, but if she says no then I'll have to work part time at the new job and KICK some retail sales butt butt for that commission. I'm hustler at heart and definatly know how to get the $$$ bill ya'll. I'm not afraid to go for this new possition full force, but I'm trying to test the waters and see if it's the right position for me. I love the store and the clothing plus the discount is awesome since I have been a shopper there for over 10 years now. The area where I work is the ritzzy part of town and so the shoppers are plentiful. My new manager is a lady name Jennifer and she has been in retail for over 13 years and she is Tai. The mix of associates are from all over and so many I havn't met them all. I'm ready for my new venture.

Back from Tampa

Hard Rock Hotel Tampa
We got up early Friday and drove 3 1/2 hours to Tampa and got there a little too early to check in, but we Decided to go ahead and book the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. This was a really nice and I mean nice hotel. It's a lot nicer than the Hard Rock in Vegas. We were able to check in an hour early, but before we did that we went to the historic downtown and ate some sushi at a really nice place. I had my Hard Rock Special massage booked for 2pm and while I checked in to have my swedish massage with hot rocks, Rich and Mianna checked into the room and decided to hang out by the pool and play a game of pool. The Spa was really small but soooooooooo serene and beautifully decorated. I was in heaven with this massage and hooked for life. I will have to strive to get one at least once a month or every other month. I wish I could aford it every 2 weeks, like I use to get at the old apartments. After the massage I hung out in the spa and layed down in the steam room for about 10 minutes and that was really peaceful and relaxing as well. I was going to get into the indoor jacuzzi but decided to join my family outside and just in the jacuzzi out there. But before I left the spa I took a nice shower and fell in love with the huge shower head that come down on me like rain. I want a shower head like that in my bathroom... ehhehe. The pool at the Hard Rock played music under water and Mianna was amazed by that. I never got to hear it because they had a live band playing when I got out there and had turned off the music. We had to stop swimming after the life guard had found some thing that wasn't quite right in the pool. I suspect it was poop from one of kids that were down that end of the pool. We were at the deep end and so we never saw it, but they shut down the pool and we all retreated to the jacuzzi that was right next to a huge waterfall wall. After swimming we decided to go back to the room and get dressed and head to the mall. Rich got his watched sized and Mianna and I just tooka look around the mall and had fun playing in Sephora and bought some dirt; no not real dirt, but the hair product by Johnathan product. I love it and it really works. After the mall closed we decided to eat at California Pizza Kitchen and then headed back to the hotel. Rich and I went out at a little after midnight when the club Floyds opened up and we almost cosed it when we left at 5:30. I danced my boody off and had such a good time. The drinks were so over priced but we still had fun. I was too pooped to go gambling and not really into gambling so Rich went back down to play a little poker. No luck for him, but he had fun. The next morning we got up and requested a late check out and got ready to go the Bush Gardens. The park was fun but we didn't really have enough time to ride too many rides. Rich got on the huge coaster called SheiKra. I better get my butt butt to bed now, it's almost 1am.

Tampa for the weekend

We are going to Tampa for the weeked and having a fun time at Bush Gardens on Sat. We will head home Saterday night since I work on Sunday. Friday we will hang out by the pool and then check into our hotel and just have a relaxing day and evening and then spend the next day at Bush Gardens. I'm not sure if we will stay at the Sheraton or The Westin. Rich would like to stay at the Hard Rock Hotel I would love to go to the spa at the Hard Rock and also the pool is so NICE... o man I have to make a choice. Rich will be stuck to the machines and poker tables. ehhehe

MY MRI and Tshirt

Today I had what I hope is my last MRI and it went well. This MRI was to concentrate on the stem of the brain and it was louder then the previous areas I had done and so I couldn't hear the salsa music at all. I had on my Red T shirt that Rich got for me and got nothing but compliment and smiles from men. This one guy said to me in the parking lot that he likes my shirt and that it's TRUE. ehehhe. Okay so I love this shirt and the shoes I had on with it were just the cutes ever with polk a dots. It's a cute sandal by Nine West. ehehhe. Here is a little snap shot of my shirt.

Toilet paper Roll on a roll

Today I had the funniest thing happen to me in the bathroom at work. I had to go so bad that I picked the first stall to go into and went rather quickly, as I reached over to get the toilet paper, It proceeded to fall off on to the floor and then took a long roll all the way across 5 stalls and into the handicap stall at the very end. I started to bust up at my self and I was the only one in the bathroom at the time. ehhehe. I had a second roll in there and so I just used that and then got up to fetch the one that fell on the floor and it was so funny to see it strung across all 5 stalls and under the chair in the handicap stall. I wish I had my camera because the sight of it was just to funny and priceless.

Jaguar XK

I have always had a thing for Jaguar cars and this new XK model is O my god out of this world with features like a V8 engine delivering 300hp. O MY god the speed is like somthing out of NASCAR. My TL is fast but not even close to the speed of the XK. I'm not in love with the exterior design at all, but the interior is very sleek in design. Price is OUT of this world.

Rich bugs me to buy him the new 06 Corvette and that thing is faster than teh XK with 505hp. Talk about fast as #$@&. Like I could really buy it for him, he knows I can't buy it if he can't buy it, but it's nice to have a dream car.

2006 Corvette Z06 2LZ
Inside every Z06 is an LS7 aluminum–block V8. It puts out a SAE-certified (Society of Automotive Engineers) 505 hp and 470 lb.–ft. of torque. Hand–built by the GM Performance Build Center in Wixom, Mich., the LS7 engine contains a litany of racing–derived components, such as an eight–quart dry–sump lubrication system, titanium valves and connecting rods, forged–steel crankshaft with six–bolt main bearings, high–profile cam, and Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machined heads for better air/fuel flow. Even with its performance, the engine does not incur a federal government gas–guzzler penalty.

E-40

Tell me when to go. LOVE this song

Pink's new CD is deep

Remember when Pink first came out back in the 2001 I think it was and it was an awesome CD that was really different from what was out at the time and her style is all her own. This new CD is very different from her first one, but it gives me a sense of her maturity and her voice is still PINK as every. I love the new CD, it's a must get. I'm feeling her deep vocals of intelligence and soulfulness. Dear Mr President is so touching and deals with today's issues that need to be heard loud and clear on the radio airwaves

Results

Okay so I got up early this morning and had a little bit of nervousness since my interview was to take place at 11am. This was the first time I had an interview with 2 other girls in the room. I think it went well and I should know by middle of next week if I got the job or not. I could make lots of MULA and even up to 20 bucks an hour. I'm excited about working there and I havn't even got hte job yet. Okay so I know your all wondering how my body wrap went, I LOST LOST LOST. o my god I lost 19 inches all over and 3in just at my waist. I can fit into some of my size 0 capri and shorts that I couldn't put on yesterday. I will try to keep up with a good diet and maybe have a few massages and do lots of walking. I must say the experience was rather strange and made me feel like a mummy, but it was relaxing and the results are instant. I will do it again one day. I also lost 1 inch at my tummy area. The black slack I had on when I left it was so loose in the waist I really couldn't believe it and kept tuggy at the slack like you see in the adds for weight lost, I lost this much ! hehehe. I should have took a before and after picture. I can't shower for 4 hours and I will take a bath with some new soap I got from sephora today.

Take the day off cleansing balm

I just bought this the othere day and I LOVE IT TO DEATH. O man it makes your face feel so nice and soft. I use it everyday now. LUV IT, you have got to try it.

Body Wrap and Interview

Tomorrow I have an appointment to get my body wrap done. This will be my first time and I hope it helps me to loose some inches in all areas of my body. My friend at work did it and she lost a total of 12 inches overall her entire body. They will measure my body from head to toe and then wrap me and leave me for one hour and then take it all off and measure again to see what I have lost. I also have a job interview with the BEBE store in St. Johns town center and I'm so nervous but excited at the same time. I wish my wrap was first and then the interview, but my interview is at 11am and the wrap is at 4:30. Wish me luck on both. Last Friday I got my hair cut and had a facial and eybrow wax.... I know I love to be pampered. Tomorrow I'll get a pedicure and mani as well.

Walt Disney

We had a fun trip to WD this past weekend and got to ride the new ride at Animal Kingdom called Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain. I did have vertigo after the ride but it went away shortly after we got off. We also went to MGM to ride our favorite ride, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. We watched Voyage of The Little Mermaid and that was really cute. Then we took a journey Into Narnia: Creating The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. We watched the DVD today, I can just watch it over and over again, I love that movie. We also went on the Great Movie Ride and that was okay. We will be back down to WD in about 4 weeks to meet up with our friends Myke and Mary coming from Cali. I should book our room now. We stayed at the Sheraton and for the next stay I'll pick another hotel.

200 causes for vertigo

Today was my appointment with the National Hearing and Balance Institute of Jacksonville. I learned so much at my appointment and I'm so excited to go to the next step for testing. I never did see Dr. Green today, but the PA was so in formative and very in depth. She made me feel confident that we would get to the bottom of my problem and diagnosis and help to treat what ever it is that is the underlining cause of my vertigo. I have been vertigo free for a month now, but still experience off balance from time to time. The civilian side of the medical world is so different from that of the Navy. I took another hearing test today and have some high tone loss in both ears and more in my right than my left. That test along with a few others is enough for them to want to figure out what the underlining cause is and there is a strong possibility that there are 6 different things that I could have and for now we are sure that it's not life threatening and THAT is such a relief. My vertigo could have been going on for the past 6 years and only now took a turn for the worst and we need to find out what triggered it. I was so bug eyed when the PA told me there are 200 causes for vertigo. WOW. I'm happy to be on the way to recovery and I'll be sure to update my blogg and keep you all posted step by step.

Duke is Home

Mianna called me at work to give me the good news. Our neighbor about 4 houses down found Duke and had him in their backyard. I will try and talk to the neighbor tomorrow and return the green leash she let us use. I'm not sure where or when they found him, but I'm so happy to have our BOOBOO back. I missed him. Mianna said he was all dirty and stinky, so she gave him a bath and he had a little owee on his elbow.

Quick update

It's really late and I have no time for a long blogg, but I have some sad news. We lost Duke the day we were heading to Orlando. Rich left the garage door open and Duke just ran off without us knowing. We looked for 2 hours and had no luck. Our neighbors said they would keep a lookout for us, but no luck so far. We still left for Orlando with much heartache, but we had no way of canceling our hotel reservation, since it was such short notice and so we decided to just go. Duke has gotten out many times before, but each time we found him quickly and this time it was different. Duke usually gets away at night and it's so hard to find him but we always manage. I just couldn't believe this time he got out in the middle of the morning and in full sun light and we couldn't find him. Mianna walk behind every house in the neighborhood with out a fence and even looked behind the ones with fences, while I looked in front. We looked for exactly 2 hours and even drove to other neighborhoods in the area. We only have 99 homes in this small neighborhood that consist of 2 col de sac and one main street. It was hard to have fun in Orlando while thinking about bobo. We had our dog for almost 14 years. I ran out of ink for my printer on the same day, so I was not able to print out flyers to post around town. I will get some printed this week and check with the pound and animal shelters. Duke has a chip in his shoulder blade area and so maybe they will be able to contact us if he is turned into a pound. I think the home number on the chip is my old home number but the cell number should be on there as well. I did get call before when he use to get out in Lemoore. I will call Lemoore tomorrow and see if I can get a hold of the # to the company that put the chip in him so I can update the information on the computer. I"M SO SAD it HURTS. I miss my dog. Surprisingly enough Mianna is taking it well and I haven't seen her cry yet or talk about it much. I think she is just trying to be a big girl about it. I think someone has him and is keeping him, but who knows. He had no color on but I hope someone turns him into the pound and they will know he has a chip in him. On a positive note, people in our area love there pets and pets in genaral. We have a pet shelter close by and a boarding facility and also a vet close by. I know people love there pets in our area, because we have more vets then nail shops and I kid you not we have more vets then any place I have ever seen. I can count 10 in a ten miles radius. I will visit all and post flyer as well.

Happy Birthday Ingrid

Thanks for always being a true friend and for being there for the birth of our baby girl almost 14 years ago. Even though we are so far apart, just remember that my thoughts and prayer are always with you and your family. I know you'll have a good day and I can see the SMILE you will be wearing all day long. LuV you like a sista.

Going to Disney World again

I'm so excited to leave Jaxs and go down to Orlando. We will have some fun at all the parks. I'm not sure if I'll ride many rides, but I will have fun. I haven't had any episodes of vertigo in almost 3 weeks and everyone has been so concerned with how I'm doing. I'm happy to report that I've been doing good for 3 weeks and next week I will go to the national hearing and balance institute downtown to have more test run and also I have all my MRI's and CT to take with me for them to read. I feel good and have been wearing all my new shoes that I couldn't wear when I was dizzy. ehehe. I had on my pink Charles David heels today and it's was so nice to have my feet free and I'm feeling the spring/summer time is going to be a fun filled time for us. Those of you who know me real well know that I'm a tuff cooking and I only make friends with real people and it's hard for me to get close to others. But I have been sad with no real friends to hang out with and have fun with. I'm so sick of people being fake and judjing me for what I look like on the outside. I just wish people would give me a chance and get to know me before they start to judge me. I always get the same shit when it comes to woman friends. It's suck to be a woman who is so insecure with her own inner being that she can't stand on her own thoughts and need other to validate her or a man to controle her. Sucks. I'm just so happy to be who I am and not a fake person. I some times think I have no friends because I am a bit hard core and I tell it like it is. Life is just to short to sweat the little things. I off to shop for a bathing suite online and maybe I'll find the one piece I seen in my in style magazine by Juicy Couture.

Gucci glasses

I have a pair of glasses that I just bough at Target by Mossimo and they look exactly like the Gucci glasses I just found on Bluefly. I only payed 15 bucks where as the Gucci glasses are 168.00 wow. I always buy cheap glasses because I end up scratching them or dropping them and they get all messed up. I'll stick to Target glasses. I do have one pair of real Gucci glasses and I've had them for years, but they are a little messed up. Mianna is home, we are off to the stores.

Happy Happy Happy

Guess what guys? I found my makeup. YUP, I'm so silly, I must have came home from work so sleepy and I put it under my side of the sink and it was filled with a little bit of water. We might have a little leak from when Rich took the sink apart because I had dropped my pearl earring down the drain. Rich gave me the cutest dangle pearl earrings for valentines day and I just love them. I was rushing to work one morning and dropped one down the drain. Thank goodness he rescued the earring for me. So now I guess I have no reason to go shopping for makeup today. LOL I'll just do some regular shopping, that always makes me happy. Mianna will be home from school in a alittle bit and I'm sure she wants to go shopping. I need a haircut and we will try to go do that when she gets home.

Lost Makeup

I'm so sad today and have been all day. I lost my makeup bag with all my favorite makeup and even my new stuff that I just got last week. I know it's all replaceable, but it's just that it's expensive stuff and I had just got it and now I've lost it all. I had my new favorite mascara by Fresh. I had some pretty expensive brushes too and I think it all comes to a lost of about 300 bucks. I know, it's only makeup but I had My new blush by Bare Escentuals along with a new eye shadow called naked beach and the mineral Vail that stuff is awesome. I had my Estee Lauder polish in purple and a few lipstick by Lancome and Estee. I had some good Mac brushes that were about 30 buck a piece and a few cheap sponges and some lip liners. I'm mostly sad about the new stuff I had just spent 80 bucks on. The price we pay for beauty and it's not cheap. I will just try and have some fun shopping for my replacements and maybe even take my butt to Mac and get a fun make over and buy some new stuff. I remember the days when Rich use to take me to the department stores to get made up and buy makeup. The last time we did it was way back in Vegas and he fell in love with the look and got me started on wearing false eyelashes. I want to get a facial done tomorrow and maybe after that I'll go buy my makeup.

Haunting

Rich and I will take Mianna to Savannah with us on our next trip up and we plan to do more sight seeing and take a few of the ghost tours. There are so many old building in Savannah and even a haunted cemetery and countless numbers of old buildings filled with so much old energy and history. I really fell in love with what little I was able to see on our quick trip to the city. Rich has also read this book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and the statue on the cover of the book is on display in a museum in Savannah because people were so attracted to it after the book that they started to chip away at her for a piece of a memento and they had to remove it to keep it preserved. We didn't get to visit the statue but we plan to on the next trip and I will strive to read the book before we return.

Popsicle sex

I got this in email. too funny

Popsicle sex

The only way to pull off a Sunday afternoon quickie with their 8 year old son in
the apartment was to send him out on the balcony with a Popsicle and tell him to
report on all the neighborhood activities.

He began his commentary as his parents put their plan into operation:

"There's a car being towed from the parking lot! ", he shouted.

A few moments passed .. "An ambulance just drove by"

A few moments later, "Looks like the Anderson's have company", he called out.

"Matt's riding a new bike....."

A few moments later, 'Looks like the Sanders are moving"

"Jason is on his skate board...."

A few more moments, "The Coopers are having sex!!"

Startled, Mother and Dad shot up in bed!!!

Dad cautiously asked, "How do you know they are having sex?"

"Jimmy Cooper is standing on his balcony with a Popsicle."

My new toy

I'm so excited like a little kid on Xmas day, ehhehe. I got a new phone today. I was so out of the loop with my old school cell phone that had no camera, no video, no TV , all that good stuff on the new phones now a days are so awesome. I love Samsung phones and so I got this one.. I sat in the car for all of 2 minutes to program my blue tooth and so I'm hands free baby. It's so coooooool. I'm love it. Now I'm going to add some music to my phone and I can jam out when ever I like. LOL. Check out my new phone on the link above

My surprise trip

Me sitting on the Heavenly Bed
Rich had been telling me all week that he had a surprise for me on Friday and to make no plans. I was like okay and really though nothing of it but then Friday came and he says, pack some outfits, we will be gone for one day and we are spending the night and not coming back until Sat. I was starting to get so excited and he helped me to pack a few cute things and some good walking shoes since he said we would do lots of walking. When we got in the car I had a feeling we were going to go north and I was right. As we left the FL border and headed into Georgia I stated to guess that maybe we were heading to Savannah. I was right. Rich surprised me and took me to Savannah Georgia to enjoy the festive celebration of St. Patricks day. It was a fun day with lots of walking along the River walk and we drank some beer and I also had the famous Wet Willie frozen drink. mmmm it was soooooo good. We stayed at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf resort. And spa Our room was so BEAUTIFUL with all the luxury you would want in a hotel room. We had a double message shower head in our bathroom and feather down pillows and comforter on our queen size heavenly bed. We had 2 beds in the room with a little sitting area by the window with the view of the river. O , I was in heaven with the few and took a few shots. It was nice to watch the sunset from up in our bedroom window. We were on the 12th floor and so it was really nice being so high up. We took a ferry to the other side of the river where the celebration was going on with about 500,000 people walking up and down the river just having fun and drinking and laughing and eating. When we first arrived we watched some of the St. Patricks Day perade. We stood in line and got a giant turkey leg to eat for dinner and drank lots of beer. I wanted to go out clubbing but got so sleepy after about 5 beers and one Wet Willie. Rich was also sleepy and so we just called it a night and took the ferry back to our hotel room. I wanted to get a message in the hotel spa, but we didn't really plan on doing it and so we will have to do it next time. Rich just called me from work and said that he has booked out hotel stay for NEXT year already. ehhehe. He wants to go back to bad that he called to book the room. I will have to make sure I surprise him and book the most luxurious message for one entire day and surprise him. HEY don't read this blogg RICH, eheh, no he will probably read this, but for realz I'll book us a romantic message. I love my hubby, when he surprises me with such a fun trip. Thank Richie boy. I love YOU. You really feel right at home in a Westin Hotel.

Frog and Hamsters on the loose plus lost pearl

Duke eating peanut butter
I'm glad to report that the family is doing much better now. I'm on my way to getting better everyday and have the week off from physical therapy and still have my test coming up in a few days. My mom is home from the hospital and on her way to recovery. I haven't spoke to her yet, but she is a little out of it and just stays in her room at the house. My grandma and aunt are taking good care of her and so she will be just fine. Richie's dad had a little bit of a scare and had to go to the ER and spend one night in the hospital. They told him he needs to relax and have less stress. He was worrying about me and probably some other things and that was causing stress on him. I told him not to worry about me and that I'm getting much better. I had a fun weekend with Richie and Mianna. We hung out the mall and the St. Johns town center and I took Mianna shopping at her favorite store Limited Too. I also got a new shirt at BEBE, it's just to die for. I have it in white, but they only show it in two colors online. Rich was saying that I should work at the store so I could get the awesome employee discount and they were actually taking application and so he got me one.... hehehehe. I have so much to do around the house and have been feeling a little stress myself. I came home today, to find a frog in my bathroom. I was going into the toilet area of our bathroom and its an inclosed room with a door and all of a sudden I seen a frog jump from behind the door. I wanted to take a picture of it but Mianna caugh it for me in the empty trash pail and put him back outside, before I could take a pictures. Too funny. I love it when the frogs come out in FL. So besides loose frogs we have Loose hamsters too. YUP our bear hamsters have escaped from there cage and are some place lost in the house. We have no idea where to look for them. I will put some peanut butter out on a couple of spoons and maybe that will bring them out. I'm too sleepy to try and look for the hamsters now, and Mianna is off to bed, so maybe Rich can find them when he gets home. Oya, I forgot I dropped my Valentines gift (pearl earing) down the drain this morning and Rich had to rescue it for me. ehhee Thing need rescuing in this house. Mianna just found one hamster in her bathroom, phew! One down and one to go. I'm about to go now.ehhehe. I will have to take a picture of my new pearl earing to show them off, Rich had such good taste when it comes to pearls or just to jewelry in general, and he picked such an awsome pair of earing for me.

O no, Duke is eating the peanut butter and he looks so funny!!! I need to geet this on video

Therapy today

I went to physical therapy today and learned some new things to help get me back to normal. I'm so fustrated lately and my job seems to not be as understanding as I thought.
Anyways, I might have to look for a new job. I just can't deal with the fustration of my call center, but I think it's because I'm so worked up with the vertigo, that my patient with ANYONE at all is very little on non existent. I doubt people I work with truly understand what I'm going through. I just wish I could go back to normal. I had an episode today that was stonger than the normal, but still not as bad as the first few weeks I started to have my vertigo. I can walk now and do all normal things, but it just takes me more time to do some things. I'm driving on my own and that makes me happy. I hate feeling this way and I'm just getting so fed up. UGH. Yeah, this is a blogg to vent. It doesn't help that I'm having PMS too, but I just need a bath and some chocolate. Calgone take me away!

LA Rok

LA Rok
I love this top.
YA YA is making a fan out of me
This one too.
My pants but I have it in green

$18.99 a lb

Mianna
Mianna spotted some crab claws and wanted it for dinner. I got her 1/2 lb for a little appetizer and she is in heaven. This girl loves almost all seafood know to man. She also loves raw oysters and just informed me that she need to practice shucking oysters for the shucking contest in her science class. We just ate oysters over the weekend and Rich is getting good at shucking. I have my favorite pinwheel salmon in the oven now with this stuffed talapia that I'm trying for the first time. Rich is at work now, but I will save him some for a late night snack. I love eating seafood since it's so light and almost no fat at all. I can see why Japanese people stay so healthy and skinny.

Duke

My teenager

Mianna

2nd day at work

I made it through the day with my vertigo kicking in at the 3rd hour. It was not too bad and so I was able to stick around for the last hour. I'm not sure if I'll be going in tomorrow since I might have my septoplasty done tomorrow morning. I also have physical therapy after my ENT appointment, but that might fall through if I do have the septoplasty and depending on how bad I might feel or if I can operate with all this gauze and junk on my nose, but I might have some anesthesia and I'm not sure what type. They say the surgery only last 20 minutes, so maybe it's not so bad. Hell I have no idea. I just hate the idea of the DR ticking tools up my nose. My nose is a sacred body part, LOL. O man, I'll be sure and update you all on the process. Right now I'm having some seriouse pain in my right cheek and right eye, I know it's due to sinus pressure and causing my sinus headache. HELP, I'm getting old and falling abart.LOL

Talk to my mom

I was just relaxing on the couch when the phone rang and it was my aunty Max calling from my moms room at the hospital. I talk to her but only for a second. She is just now getting a little better and has both arms wrapped up. Her back is okay and only bruized and I'm so happy about that. I'm sure my mom will recover well and have complete confidence in my aunt taking good care of her. I will not travel to SD, but hope that my mom has a speedy recovery and maybe she will travel to FL soon. I was hoping to get her out here this month of March and maybe that might not happen as but maybe this summer. O well, just happy she is okay and glad I was able to talk to her even if it was for a short period.

1/2 day

I finally went back to work today and stayed 1/2 day. I was fine for the first 2 hours and then my vertigo set in and I realized how this might be a long process for me and so I'm having to fill out FLMA so that I have the option for more time off here and there as I need it. I'm stuggling to be normal again and I just need to take it slow and not push my self to much. I have and ENT appointment this Thursday and also physical therapy and I hope it all goes well and maybe the PT will help me get better.

I'm working on painting our spare bedroom and have one wall done already. Mianna has been a big help with the painting and it's fun to see the room transform. I'll post pictures as soon as we get it all done. It will be a very serene guest bedroom in shades of lilac and deep purples.

Neurology and Physical therapy

Towel for a neck brace
I went to my neurology appointment and it all went well. I also had a physical therapy appointment and will continue that for about a month. I learned a lot of exercises to do at home and at work. I have a note saying I can go back to work for 1/2 day for the next two days and that will give me time to feel out how my vertigo treats me at work, if that makes any sence. I feel good about going back and trying to take is slow. I do feel better, but still need time to heal. My physical therapist made a make ship towel brace for my neck and it really helps to get me use to the positions that make my vertigo apear the most and help with keeping my head steady, yet I have to take it off from time to time so that I don't get a stiff neck. I'm ready to return to work and at least try. I'm still have to have another MRI and MRA.

Tuna with honey mustard sauce and Mango salsa

Friday night dinner is one of our classic dishes that I discovered while watching Bobby Flay on FoodTV one year. I also discovered Mango salsa and it's a tasty and easy recipe.

Carne Asada nachos

Saturday night dinner was MMM good.

Unique furniture

Rich wanted to go look at furniture today, and there was only I piece I sat in with Mianna and it looks like the link above. Very unique and stylish furniture. I thought I could walk around good today, but after the 3 store I was so out of it and walking so slow with almost no energy at all. I feel off balance without the vertigo feeling, but no feeling in my legs and my arms actually feel week also. I'm so ready to give up on this mess and just be me again. It's like one moment I'm find and the next, I can't function.

Balloon stye back in.

Okay so I've noticed that balloon style shirt, short and skirts are back in style. I remember wearing this style back in high school. I had a black balloon skirt that was my favorite, how funny. You have to be really skinny to wear the style otherwise you look fat. I couldn't war it now, but its funny to see it back in style. I wonde if Mianna will want a balloon skirt this sping/summer. They call it bubble skirt on her site, but I've always called it a balloon skirt. The BCBGirl line has some really cute and affordable pieces.

My favortie line

Yes I'm such a BCBG nut and I just love this dress for spring 2006. The link will take your to the entire line, but I love the white dress with beading around the neck. I have to blogg this so I remember to go back and look at the line. I also love the Dusty Surf Silk Habotai dress... Ugh it's so pretty. Look at the sirf printed crinkled silk habotai dress with lace detail. mmmmm sexy. I can only buy stuff when its on sale at the outlets in St. Augustine. I need to win the Lotto.ehehhee , I say that but I never play, so Rich needs to win the Lotto for US.hehehe.

Okay I have to metion the toffee combo printed silk shiffon dress is to die for!
the Avocado/smokey brown combo ombre silk chiffon gown with beaded detail, reminds me of he dress the whats his name (Santino) made on Project Runway. I love that show!

Okay I had to add one last thing to my list, hehehe. the chocolate satin strapless gown with beaded detail (NWS63509) I'm a sucker for fancy dresses. just looking at them makes me smile. I have a closet full of fancy dresses and I do have my one and only BCBG that I wore last year to the Xmas party. It's a rare piece.

High Hills

The worst part about having vertigo, is not being able to wear most of my shoes. I am such a high hill nut, that most of my shoes are just sitting there, screaming wear me! Wear me! I feel so much better today...Ugh finally there is some hope. I will walk to the mail box now. I just wish I could get out the house and go to the movies or just drive or just do anything. Go shopping, yeah, that's it. I miss shopping. I'm having shopping withdraw real bad! LOL see, I'm still me.

My mom in the hospital

My mommy
My mom took a good fall a few days ago when her knees gave out on her and she broke and fractured both arms and hurt her back. She is still in ICU. I have yet to talk to her, but my family is keeping me informed and here are a few pictures that my aunt sent in email this morning.

Suicide and Fall

I woke up to a phone call from San Diego. My aunt had called to inform me that my mother had a bad fall when her knees gave out. She should be walking with a cane and for what ever reason she was not walking with her cane and fell. She is in ICU at some big hospital in Hillcrest and I'm worried about her. She fractured her elbow and messed up her back and they are trying to run test and have her on morphine for the pain. I just want to go back to sleep and wake up from this hell of a dream right now. I had to go to the DR this morning for my physical therapy and got more info and help. My youngest aunt, my moms sister is also having problems of her own, and I had to call her and yell at her to wake up and take care of herself, she attempted to commit suicide by overdose of pills. O lord help my family right now. I did go to work to talk to my boss and they all miss me and are waiting till I return. I heard this saying today, When it rains it pours and right now it is literally raining outside, but I just feel like it's pouring on my family and the health we are all in now. I hope my mom gets better and wish I can talk to her soon. My aunt will have to shake her self silly and get some major help. Pray for us all please. I'm still here with the vertigo an all. The last thing I need is stress. I wish I could be on the west coast to help my mom and aunt.

Our birdsWe have been baby sitting these birds for our friend but I think they have struck a core in my heart and no they are ours to keep Our friend will be moving soon and can't take them. We call them pretty girls, skinny tail and Fat tail. I just love watching them play in the cage and listen to them make chirps with the music I play on my computer.

Test I will have soon

My next few weeks or months will concist of test like this...

Electronystagmography, which attaches small wires to your face that measure eye movements. It looks for the special eye movements that happen when the inner ear is stimulated. The pattern of eye movements can point to the location of the cause of the vertigo, such as the inner ear or the central nervous system.

I will have more of these done on my brain stem area, already had the brain done and it was good

Imaging tests, such as magnetic resonance image of the head (MRI) or computed tomography of the head (CT scan). These tests may be done if symptoms could be caused by a brain problem.

I had a hearing test today and just had problems with high pitch, but noting too bad

Hearing testing to detect hearing loss. A special hearing test can determine whether the nerve from the inner ear to the brain is working correctly. Hearing loss with vertigo usually indicates a problem other than BPPV, such as Ménière's disease or labyrinthitis.

Summary of my BPPV

I thought I would try with all my might to do one thing that makes me happy... Sit at my Mac and type a little summary on my blogg. I must say I run a fine line between keeping an online summary for myself and wanting to keep my readers updated on my everyday LIFE!

O, my goodness, just to get all off subject I have to tell you that my birds are whistling to Ludacris song, Georgia...it's too funny, she was bumping to the beat real good. O my goodness she is really doing this, now she is doing it to this Pharell song and I'm just busting up at them as they play in the cage and make little noises with the beats, too funny. This is I; I just speak my mind and have to get all off the subject at the drop of a hat. I think it would be much better for me to update my blogg by voice, since I'm trying to type with vertigo, LOL.

I have to try and keep things as normal as I can and this is one thing that makes me so happy. I love to type and sit at my computer, hell I work with a computer all day, and it might not be in the way I would prefer to and on a system that most people don’t even use anymore. Yeah, my job is so behind the times as far as technology is concern but O well. I miss my coworkers. I have not made it through an entire workweek in over a month now and it doesn’t look like I’ll be going back anytime soon. I am trying my hardest to get well and it looks like it’s going to be a long and slow process.

Rich woke me up this morning and had all kinds of news for me. He is the BEST and I will tell y’all with all my heart, that he Listens to me and is such a take charge and caring person. I truly have my soul mate. Anyways, he woke me up this morning and said, babe I have an ENT appointment set up for you and it’s at 10:30 today. Big smile from me but a little wine in my voice, because I was up until 1:30 this morning and I’m just not a morning person and probably would have slept the day away. Ehhehe. My baby knows me to well and I’m so happy he got me in to ENT today. You all know I was hospitalized for 2 days and had a CT and MRI test done and that all came back good, but with the hearing test I had today at ENT, they found that I had high tone hearing lost in both ears and my DR had suggested more MRI and MRA test for my neck area. When I was in the hospital they were only focused on my brain and that was all good. We have to rule out nerve diseases and then we can move on from there. I’m a little excited about gong to the specialist in town, because they will run some really fun and in depth test on my motion. I’m only looking at this entire process as fun so I can make it past all of it with flying colors and FIX ME already. Dam it!!! No more drugs for me. I have been drug free for 4 days, but did take IB this morning for my cramps that are kicking my butt. I have to try and take Valium alone to see if it helps my vertigo and then let the DR know what it does for me. I have to try and go back to work, but Rich says he will take leave to be home with me and I'm not going back to work. =o( for now. sad face from me. I don't want to have to use saving to live, if we run out of money to pay bills. REAL LIFE. that is what I'm worried about.

Balance is determined by a complex combination
of inputs into the brain. These inputs are:

Vision
Proprioception (sensation of position of joints)
Inner ear

Too be continued.....

Cleaning house

I have been so fed up with this dirty house and so I have my family working like crazy to clean house. From the day I came home from the hospital with my cane in hand and all, I was cleaning house. I feel much better, but I'm still rocking my boat and having tension headaches on a constant basis with my eyes jumping like crazy from having to try and focus so hard. I have an ENT appointment on the 2nd of March and if I can hold out I will wait until then to have my hearing test and just try to schedule a sight test for the same day. I have no need or want to go to physical therapy since I have been walking better without the meds and I'm typing better too. I have pain and fullness in my right ear, but not so much that I need meds for it. I have taken my self off of all meds the DR gave me and I feel much better just dealing with the vertigo on my own without the meds. I have to take a break and just relax once in awhile and if it gets real bad and my stomach hurts, I sit down or lay down. Rich just power washed the outside of the house and now he is going to wash my car. I was thinking about test drving the H3 and trade my car in for it if I like it that much. ehhehe. I keep giving Rich a hard time about trading in his truck to get the H3, but he hates Hummers. We do love the TL too much but I'll still check out the H3. LOL. let me get off this computer and try to clean up my bedroom. I just feel much better when my house is clean and can't stand the clutter for one second.

Feeling good at the moment

At the moment I'm feeling good. I just got a sudden urge to update my blogg, since I have more hand and eye coordination at the moment. I'm typing a little slow on my laptop that is sitting on my vanity stool up against the tub while I sit in luke warm water watching Gray's anatomy. I must admit that this feeling of being my self is sooooooooooooooo good. I had one spell of vertigo today, but I fought it like a champ and took no meds. I'm sick of meds and will not take it unless I absolutely need it. I did come home from the hospital and wanted to clean my house like a mad woman.

I'm out the tub now and had to stop typing from the tub for many reasons. First, I'm using some expensive laptop around water, ($1700.00) reason #2 Could damage Gray's Anatomy DVD $(19 bucks) reason #3 Virgi getting electrocuted, (priceless). Most of you who know me, can relate to my accident prone ass! I'm feeling much better just sitting her on the love seat in our formal living room just taking in the scent from a mango, papaya candle that Stacy from work, just brought by a few minutes ago. My friends at work have showed much concern for me and Stacy is one of my good coworkers that I get along with well. I'm almost completely off of the pills they gave me but I have been taking Ambien to help me sleep. I only take 1/2 a pill and so far, have only had it twice at home. Meclazine doesn't make me drowsy anymore and only makes me sick,so I have been fighting the vertigo and not taking a DAM thing. I'm stronger than this and I'm going to get past it. If there is one thing I know, it's that I'm a stronger little Guamanian lady with a temper and stamina of a Tiger! ehhehe. I miss the stability in my legs and feel it's gone from walking around like a darn old lady with no balance because of the vertigo. I have 8 days off from work and I will take as long as I need to get better. I will do as I please and remain strong. I miss being on the Net so bad, I was having withdrawals at the hospital.
Rich has been taking care of me like a queen like he always does and he is watching the las 8 laps of Daytona 500 and I wish we could be there in person. Next year we will be there. It's a very gloomy day with a bit of a chill. I'm off of here to watch the last 3 laps.

walking problems

Last night I got off work at 6pm and couldn't walk at all. I was not dizzy, not sleepy, just had no feeling in both legs. I used my work chair to get around, since it has wheels and just stayed to chat with the 2nd shift gals, until Rich came to pick me up. I'm heading back to the hospital today at 2pm and check out what's going on or what they can do. I think it's a side effect from the pills I'm on. I'm walking today, but very unsteady. I look so funy walking around like Rock woman thrying with all my might to take each step. I have to get ready now, since it might take me longer to get myself together for the appointment.

ENT appointment

Well guys, my ENT appointment went well. Finally someone who can understand me and relate to all the symptoms I've been experiencing. I must say, they found me clogged up in all orifices. I was so scared to have my ears cleaned out but after Rich held my hand and the Dr. did all he could to make me feel comfortable and keep my mind off of the procedure, I passed with flying colors and no PAIN at all. I had enough in there to make a candle and they were joking about it the entire time. Rich said he would make a little shadow box to house my collection. The Dr had suggested that I return to ENT 3 times a month to have my ears cleared out. I did wake up with redness around my right ear and heat. Dr, noticed that right away and asked if it's always like that, I told him no and only found it this morning. I'm in an early stage of infection and so he prescribed some antibiotics. The Dr said that my impacted ears were causing the vertigo and that I should have no more symptoms now that it's all cleared out. He did check me for positional vertigo and found none. I fell much better but just very irritable. I have been on edge for the past 3 weeks and it's probably due to all this mess. My nose cavity was also inflamed and so he sprayed some liquid in there to help open up my breathing path and suggested that I continue to use my flonase and when I return for my follow up he will recheck my nasal cavity and see if we should proceed with surgery (septoplasty) to open it up further. After talking with Dr. Clark, we discovered that he know our Uncle Dr.Castro. heehhe. They were really good buddies back in DC and after that discovery Dr. Clark really relaxed and began to talk more with us about the procedures and then proceed to check Rich out and talk with him about his procedures he as had in the past. It's such a small world in the Navy Medical field. Dr. Clark was also trained by the Dr. that did Ritchie’s procedure back in the day and she use to be #1 surgeon in the field. I feel so relieved to find out that my problem was more of simple one with simple solutions and I'm at ease now. I will take one more day off from work and on Friday I return to the hospital for my other appointment. This time I have girly issues to deal with. I was diagnosed with a low grade of abnormal cells on my cervix and since I haven’t been keeping this up to date in the area, I might get a little bit of spank on the hand for not taking care of things. I recently got an email from my friend in Japan who just had surgery to remove a cyst on her ovary that had ruptured and it was such a mess for her. I also have another buddy that is going through some ruff times with her endometriosis. We will all live through this. Today Rich told me I should go back to school now and become the next Dr. in the family. ehehhe. I have the will and the skill, but not the MULA. hehehe LOL, any donation would be nice...? Okay so I took my sedative and I'm waiting for it to kick in but nothing yet. LOL

Sedative and Antihistamine

I was prescribed Meclizine and Valium to help my vertigo. I was curios as to why they would prescribe Valium of all things, for vertigo. I got home to read about it on MSN Health and it is called an unlabled use. An unlabeled use of a drug is when a doctor prescribes a medication for a purpose other than that for which it has been specifically designed and approved. Sometimes a drug is prescribed for a specific unlabeled use so often that doctors consider it a common practice.
Anyways the Valium was locked up and the Dr that had the only key was gone for the day and so I only got more Meclizine and I just took my second pill. I'll see the ENT tomorrow and see what he tell me and also pick up my meds. I'm home from work for the next two days and some thing tells me I might be home even longer. this position is not good for me so I need to get off now and go to bed.

Sick of the ER

Once again, I got extremely dizzy with my vertigo and went into the ER today. I have an appointment with ENT tomorrow and I hope they can find out what is wrong and try to help me. I'm so SICK and fustrated, with being sick! I'll keep you all updated

Couch, Chase, Bed

I have been looking for some thing just like this to go in my formal living room. I love the way it can convert to all the different things. I'm so going to buy this!!!! LOL I have to call Rich now and tell him. He was going to leave me the Truck today, but I told him to leave me the car. I can go put it on hold and then we can pick it up tomorrow. I hope they have it in stock.

Feeling better

I'm felling much better and at least now I can drive with lots of caution and walk on my own but still with much caution. I have been working on my Resume and job hunting on Monster and a few other sites. I have an interview/test with a huge company this Saterday and I'm already nervouse. I just hope that I feel more like my self when it comes time to interview. My eye motion is a little wacky, but I can manage to focus. I wasn't expecting to go in for an interview so soon and so my Resume is not done and I have no clothes that will fit me, that are good enough for and interview. My old size 0 Express slacks will not fit my big dagan. It's so hard being 10lbs up from my normal weight. I'm growing to love my new size, but clothing is an issue. I will go shopping to try and find some slacks and a nice blouse for the interview. Wish me luck with this one. I will be making about 25-35000 a year with up to 5000 in bonus money and a raise every 6 months. NOT bad ha?

Vestibular Neuronitis

I went to see my regular DR today and she diagnosed Vestibular Neuronitis. I have had this once before but much worse and the effects of Vertigo went away in a matter of days. It has been 12 day for me now and they say this can take up to 2 weeks or longer. I'm suppose to continue with my meds and I can stay home for 2 more days and should return to work on Sunday. I feel much better when I'm not using my hand too much or looking at things in motion, like the letter I'm typing on the screen. At the moment my boat it rocking a little out of controle and my eyes are playing tricks on me hehehe.

My Dr did say that if the cold goes away but the dizzyness stays, then I have to go back in and run more test. This is when it gets scary beause your messing with nerves in the spine and brain stuff like that.

The ER Dr I saw on Sunday told me that I have Second degree nystagmus. This is present in the primary (neutral) position of gaze; second and third degree nystagmus are usually vestibular in origin. The nystagmus is there because of my vertigo and if you can olny picture how confused my brain is. My eyes see no motion yet my brain is being told I'm in motion.

In English... I should be all good to go!

Behind the Wheel

Okay so Rich took me out to the base today and I decided that I felt comfortable enough to get behind the wheel and drive. I feel like I'm taking baby steps to get back to normal. I'm still slightly off in a sense and my focus is something I cant' take lightly. I have to make a conscious effort to focus on the motion around me and not the motion going on in me. If you can just imagine for a minute, that you are rocking, not too bad, but just enough to know that your moving front to back or left to right and now your in a moving vehicle with motion all around you and under you. FOCUS, FOCUS FOCUS. When I sit still and type I'm a little sea sick feeling. I would have went back to work today, but I just know the sound of voices in my ear and the focus I have to give to the computer screen that in it's self has a little motion , will just not work for me like this. Anyways, I'm off to my DRs appointment so cross your fingers for me.

Mianna is the sparkle in my eye

Mianna's sparkle

2nd trip to ER

I have had no relieve from the affect of the dizzyness that I have been experiencing for 1 week now. I was in the ER for the second time in 3 days and today I finally got some meds to help with the vertigo. My head cold is what is causing the vertigo and its because of the entire inner ear, mechanisms and so the Commander I saw today gave me some meds to help clear up my ear and make the dizzyness go away. I have only taken one pill so far and fell a little better. I'll take it 3 times a day and have a chit to stay home for the next two days and get back on my feet. I hope this works for me. I'm so sick of rocking in this boat. The DR says I'm only about 2 degrees off, when he did that follow my finger test with my eyes. If he had performed the test when I was feeling the effect full force at work, I wold have not been able to follow his finger at all. That gives you some perspective on how bad my vertigo is. I needed help to the bathroom and walking.

Trip to the ER

I have been sick since Sunday and just when I thought I was feeling better I decided to return to work on Wed. Today I went in for about 2 hours and was feeling really dizzy. I called the hospital from work to see if I could get an appointment and they said they were full and had no appointments. They put me online with a nurse that told me I should go into to the ER. I was in the ER for about 20 minutes and they called me back and put me in a bed and hooked me up to a heart machine and vital machine. I had no temp and heart was all good, except the Dr told me heard and extra sound when he listen to my heart and that was the first time anyone has ever told me that. Anyways, we looked pass the heart sound since he said it might just be my breathing sound along with the heart and they proceeded to check me out and ask all the normal questions. They found my ears were all plugged up with was, nothing new for me since I have a history of ear wax and so they flushed my ears and they also found I was dehydrated and so they hooked me up to and IV and gave me 2 bags of solution to hydrate me. Now I'm home feeling almost the same , but just bloated with this fat belly looking like I'm PG, which I'm not. I think my body is holding all the dang water I've been drinking alone with the 2 bags they gave me with the IV. I was in the ER for 3 1/2 hours and it was so strange to be there listening in on all the patients around me as I lay there resting. The lady next to me was in because she thought her breast implant might have a leak or something, and then they put another lady down on the end that was having a panic attack with this loud OUCH OUCH with a Filipino accent and she was just so out of it. They pumped her with morphine and finally calmed her down with more meds and then had a DR. and phyco consult and all sort of DR going in and out to see her. She was fine, just freaking out. I felt a little silly being in the ER, since I was not dying, but I have been so dizzy for the past 2 days, Rich had to take me to the ER and also took me home on Sunday when I called him to tell him I was sick at work and needed to go home. You all know I hate going to doctors and I hate being sick. I usually never get sick, but this one is kicking me in the butt. I'm off to bed now and thank goodness I'm off tomorrow, but I should be working on Sat morning. I might have to get out of it, if I'm still feeling bad tomorrow. I'll probably call to see my family practice DR this next week if I can, just get another check up. I'm still a little dizzy. No ear infection, but my head is all stuffy and they did give me some meds for that. I sure hope this mess goes away because I hate it.

Home sick

This is my first cold of 2006. I made it the entire year of 2005 and I don't recall getting sick at all last year. I went to work on Sunday and by the end of the day I was just feeling horrible and Rich had to come pick me up and drive me home. I have been sitting home since Sunday, just relaxing and drinking lots of water while taking Theraflu and Sudafed. I just ate a bowl of ramin noodles with egg and it was pretty good, helps the clear up my sinus when I drink the hot juices. I have managed to file our taxes while I've been home. I must say that FL taxes makes such a big difference over CA. I will stay a resident as long as I can. I love Cali and all, but they have some F up taxes in that state. We do not pay state taxes here in FL and we can claim all taxes we pay on major purchases, clothing, food, the works. I'm a super receipt savor and some people find it hard to believe but I do save every single receipt. I was upset that a few of my receipt were blank because of the type of paper they use to print the receipts, so I was not about to read a few of my WinDixie receipts and have learned a lesson for next year. I'll have to make a copy of my receipts that come from that store from now on. I got one yesterday when I went to go by my medicine,so I'll have to make a copy of it. I'll get my envelopes ready for this year and mark them Jan-Dec 06. I hope I feel better so I can try and go back to work tomorrow, but If not Ill just take one more day off, thank goodness I have sick leave hours on the books I can use.

Hot and Cold

I got off work around 6pm yesterday and the temperature gauge in my car read 72. It was so nice and warm and I even open the window and sunroof. Today I get off work at the same time and the gauge reads 54 and now it's 42 out and dropping. We have such wacky weather here in FL. The new says we are under a freeze warning for tonight. I'm so ready for the heat to kick in and have sunny weather everyday. By March we should see some beautiful Florida weather. Okay, we are going to walk the dog now, in this cold ass weather , blogg with you later.

It's my Friday

O man o man, nothing feels as good as your Friday, no matter what day of the week it might start. I'm over worked and under paid. ehhehhe. This comes from ME, who use to make a killing and now only make a little over minimum wage. I was doing a search on a job site that posted the min, med and max amount I should be getting compared to the rest of the people in my area working at the job I do now, with the minimum pay falling at twice what I make now and the medium at 31,000 a year and 37 for the height. I SO need to move to a bigger company and make some more MULA. The housing market here is insane and cheap, I just want to get in on a bigger and better house with all the extra money I could be making and also save for the next 5 years for my KID to go to college. Rich is such a good saver and has more then 8 times the amout I have saved and I'm so proud of him. He plays a little in stocks and I just love it when he tells me he made 200 over the past 2 day and he just keeps it up we will have a good chunk to help our girl go to college and have some good saving. She says she will only go for a masters, but right now she is itching to do some modeling and I'm lagging on helping her get in to an agent. She could be making more than me. ehehhe. Anyways, back to the plan at hand..... Rich was talking to a friend at work that suggested I check out the place he had an interview at , they are paying $22per hour for my same type of job. The company is much bigger and so it reflects in the pay, but I'm sure the stress is about the same or more. Some times peoples are so RETARDED on the phone. I've see it , or should I say, heard it all. I'm on it . I'm on it. Found some more homes, tucked away in flemming Island that are right up in the half a mill mark, but killer looking homes and we really don't need that much space, but I'm sure they have smaller models that cost less. I will not sale this home, but will rent it out and try to go that direction. I have to go, Project Runway is on and it's a must see for me. Sorry I havn't had much time to Blogg and was so busy during the Holidays but it'a new year and I'm ready for the new stories I'll blogg about and get to look back on one day.

Sea World Orlando,Aligator Farm and New Years

Alligator Love
We finally made it out to Sea World Orlando on Friday. This place is nice and we watched the Shamu show and a few other shows as well. Rich and I rode the Kraken and that was fun. We had a few free drinks at the Anheiswer Bush beer tasting and I tryed this new beer called B-to-the-E. . If you don't like beer, you might like this, is taste less like beer and has no bitter tast at all. At the end of the night we watched the fireworks and then headed home. We had planned to go to the Zoon on Sat, but had so much to do that morining we had to changed plans and went out to St. Augustine to the Aligator Farm. I had the most gross thing happen to me while at the farm. I was about to enter one of the bulding, but never made it in, when all of a sudden I felt a huge spash hit me all over from above. I just stood there with my hands out to the side as I said outloud, "Please someone tell me that it's raining or that is water that just hit me all over. NO it was not raining and not water. A GIANT Stork like bird had SHITTED all over me. I was covered so bad, on my forhead, hair, houlders , chest area and even on my camer, camera case and strap. I had to go to the bathroom to clean up and then my grandma bought me an Aligator shirt to wear for the rest of the day. I will never forget the last day of 2005. After the Aligator farm we went to Richie's coworkers house for a lttle bit to hang out and then about 10:30pm we headed downtown to watch the fireworks on the blue bridge. I spoke to my mom and Mianna on the phone just before midnight and wished them a early Happy New Year, since they are in the West and we were celebrating first here on the First Coast. Oya, I forgot to BLog Happy New Years to you all.
