Jump rattle and roll

I'm telling you this baby boy is one active dude. I sware he gets up on his feet and runs around in my belly. I'm now 27 weeks and it's hard to believe I only have about 13 more weeks to go. I can feel baby boy move from under my boob to way low in my pelvis area. He makes me squirm because his movements are not gentle at all. It's as if he gets fussy and can't make up his mind on what side to lay on. he litteraly runs from one area to the next, so thats what it feels like. I almost wish I had a ultrasound machine at home so I could watch him wiggle and jiggle. He must wiggle, jiggle, shift, streach, punch and kick all at the same time. O lord, 13 more weeks of this. Maybe when he gets bigger he will have less room for all the movement but I bet I'm gonna be in pain from his hard punches and kicks. My baby girl never moved around like this in my belly. This is going to be one active and fussy little guy.

I want a Leopard

O man, I didn't want to watch the tour on Leopard, because I knew I watched it, I would want it. Okay, so now I know what to ask for for X-mas. Can I please have a Leopard for Christamas dad? LOL. I like the spaces feature. I alway have a million windows open, trying to do to many things at once, Pay bill, check email. blogg, shoots... you name it. Spaces looks like a good feature. I like the feature on my current OSX, but this new Leopard is just awsome. I use Ical like everyday and its how I stay organized. But the new features on Leopard are more advance. O man, data detector. I just let my .mac account run out but would definatly update with new leopard. hmmmm. too many idea in my head now. New Ichat freature too, hmmmm. wow. the nex had all the new mac stuff, just seen them in there on the 31st. I had to tell my self to walk away from the shelf. LOL

My daughter is in Child Development at school and she had to make this baby out of a 5 pound bag of flower. She has to cary it around at school for 2 days. Today was her first day with the baby and thought it was going to be embarrassing to cary him around all day, but instead she got so much positive attention. Babies always make people smile. Next she will have to bring home a mechanical baby that really cries every 2 hours.

Here is the picture we had taken at the Khaki Ball. I wanted to do it as soon as we got there, so that the makeup and hair was still fresh. I really should have fixed my hair a little more. It was a rainy and gloomy day out. The humidity hit my hair the minute I walked outside. Rich looks so hot in his uniform. I had on a Nichole Miller gown. People though it was maternity but it was just a normal size 4. I think I'll still fit it after the baby. Nicole Miller has some really cute crinkle dresses that are so cute, but this was just simple and really elegant. I danced my booty off and Rich had me on the dance floor for every slow song. I love my Chief.

Cute pregnant

Today when I walked into work, my coworker, who is also PG, told me I look so cute today. It might be the maternity dress I'm wearing with a little sweater over top. I went to the NEX and got 3 more complements and this made me feel so good and smile so big. I was feeling really big today and not feeling so good, but the random stranger really made me feel so much better. I'm getting excited for my trip to Va on thursday. I have major nerves when I fly and normally I have a class of wine, but now I can't do that. I just hate to fly. I use to love it as a kid, but now as an adult I get anxiety every time. I'll be 25 weeks on Thursday, wow it's flying by. We bought baby boy some cute outfits yesterday. Mianna picked out all the outfits, and little mittens, hats and matching blanket. Mianna has a project at school for child development and she will make a baby out of a 5 pound bag of flower and dress it with Sylar outfit. She will also have a chance to bring home an electronic baby that cries and all that. I told her it would be good practice for when the baby comes next year.

found it

O my goodness, I was listening to that little voice in my head. I couldn't find my Dooney and Bourke bag and was going crazy, because I know I can't loose an entire bag. I have way too many bags in my closet, so I sat on the floor and took my bags off the shelf one by and ther it was. Guess what was in side my D&B? YUP you guessed it, the charger my digital camera battery. ehhehe. I'm all happy, ready for my trip to VA now.

Battery charger

I'm going nutts trying to find my battery charger for my digital camera. I know it has to be in this house some place. It just sucks when the house is so clean and you can't find what your looing for. I know it will show up and be in a place that is just looking right at me in the face. LOL. I leave on thursday night and need to find it before then . It will be our first Khaki ball and I want to take plenty pictures. For and update, I'm in a very good back to normal mood today and the Jaguars are kicking some booty! Whooo hooo.

baby blues

I don't know whats up with my mind and body, but the entire time I have been feeling good and just yesterday I felt real down and out. Just got the case of the blues so bad I guess. I just felt so sad and gloomy. A cold front moved in a few days ago and I hate the cold, maybe its that. I don't know. I got to talking with my boss about what I'll do when it gets closer for me to stop working and will I take a leave of absence or will I just leave all together. I really will miss working. Even on my days off I still think about work, funny. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I feel like I might go crazy being with the baby all day long, day in day out, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see. I hate to not help bring in any money and it will be really tight for us without my income. Boy you think I would have a better plan, but none of this was planned. I really didn't think I would have another baby after 15 years. My girl is so big and independent and now in high school. I just can't believe I'll be doing this all over again and maybe thats whats getting me down. Most of you that know me, i'm not a kid person and very selfish as it is. I will have a hard time adjusting to giving up all my time to the young one. I had a hard time with my daughter, but thank god I had family and friends to help me out. Now I have no one. I have Mianna but I don't know that she is all that happy to have a new baby in the house. I need a pick me up. I havn't left my house is over 3 weeks and this weekend I'll be going to VA to see Rich, maybe that will make me feel better.

Possible baby name

While Rich was home this weekend it rained and rained and rained. Today we take him to the airport and already getting sad. We did come up with a possible baby name..... Sylar for his first name. We need a good middle name or maybe none at all. In 10 days I'll be flying up to VA to be with Richie for the weekend and go to the Chiefs Ball. I think I might wear the same dress that I wore last year for the X-mas party. Okay, I'm off now, on my way to the airport.

Home for the weekend

I'm just too excited for Friday to come, Richie Rich will be flying home to spend the holiday weekend with us. I put my car in the shop yesterday and now I'm drivng a Pontiac GT rental. The GT is so little but really fast. I have to hurry up and decide if I want to keep the TL or get a Minivan, I know it sounds crazy, me in a minivan, maybe I'll get the FJ cruiser. I want more space and I'm sick of top grade gas prices. I need to look into a hybrid.

This is so carzy, but I'm so happy, I got the TL back today. I know I got it back today on Thursday. It's like brand new in less than 48 hours.

Back from VA

The trip to Norfolk, VA was a successful journey. We rented a minivan and drove up on Thursday evening. It was a 9 and 1/2 hour drive. We only stopped for gas one time. The minivan has such good gas mileage with a 4 cylinder engine. I forgot what it was like to drive a car with such little power, but good gas mileage. We fit in the van comfortably with JR drving me in a passanger seat. Mom and dad in middle in pilot seats and then Mianna was in the back laying out sleep for most of the drive. I thought I would never say this but I really want a minivan now. LOL. Friday at 11am was when the pinning ceremony started. It was only a couple hours long and we were able to take lots of pictures. Rich had all of us go up to pin him.
On Saturday Rich took us to Virginia beach were we visited the Virginia Aquarium and watched deep sea 3D on IMAX.

After the aquarium he took us to the beach and we got in the sand and got our feet wet in the atlantic ocean.


We ate lunch at Giovanni's Pizza.

On Sunday we got up early adn had breakfast in Norfolk beach at this small mom and pop place. We had to drop JR off at the airport since he was flying back to jaxs.Rich took me to the ER to have a pain checked out. I was having pains in my lover right hand side, mostly to the back and also into the buttock area. Dr said it was a strained muscle beacause of the new weight and everything checked out okay with my test, so I'm all good. After all that we went to a friends house out in Suffolk, Va to have dinner BBQ with them. They live in a nice neighborhood call Indian River Plantation and Missy Elliott gave her mom her house in the same neighborhood. The house was featured on MTV cribs. Our friends house was so beutiful with a pool in the backyard and over 3000 sq feet. all brick outside with my dream 1/2 circle driveway.I didn't get to take any pics of the house, I just forgot to.
Monday we decided to extend our stay one more day, we spent most of the day running around to get our new ID cards. Tuesday came way too quick and we left Norfolk at 5am and got to FL at 4pm.

3D and 4D ultrasound

I got my postcard in the mail today to recieve 10% off on any package for 3D/4D ultrasound. I want to have it done when I'm 26 weeks or more. I really want Rich to be here for it so I'm trying to coordinate some dates with him and the place to make and appointmen so that he can be down for the ultrasound. End of October would be a perfect time, since Its Richies B-day and I would love to have him home that weekend and then Halloween celebration. I will email him with the dates to see if he can do it. We also found out that the Chiefs Ball is Oct 19th so I'll be going up to VA again for the ball. I started looking at dresses yesterday and I have a few in my closet that I need to try on to see if I can fit into them. I'm not sure how big I'll be in one more month, but if I gain 1 pound a week like I'm suppose to. I'l be 5 pound heavier. I have gained 10 pound so far.

Migraine day 2

Last night I started get a migraine and it's just hurts so bad, I decided to see if I would fall asleep and wake up better in the morning, but here I am, up early and it just started to kick back in. This sucks because I can't take anything, except tylenol and that does not help at all. I'm off of eat some food, take a tylenol and just lay on the couch and veg.

Here is a picture of our baby boy sucking his thumb. I was shocked to find out it was a boy, but a split second latter I was happy because I knew that is was going to make my Richie the happies daddy ever. He wanted Our daughter to be a boy, but here we are 15 years later and he is getting his baby boy. During th ultrasound we were able to have a clear shot of his testicles, but the tech did not take a picuture of it. We witnessed the baby put his hand to his mouth and suck on his thumb. O, wow, I'm still in shock, it's going to be a BOY!

My turn for anticipation

Yesterday was a good day, since we found out Ingrid is having a girl. Today I find myself dying with anticipation. With my first born we waited the entire 40 weeks and found out it was a girl right at birth. We just had no desire to find out and wanted to be surprised. I had no problem waiting back then and never one second guessed our decision. My hubby really wants to know this time and so I'm going along with him on wanting to find out. I do want to get the room all decorated and pretty or handsome for our new baby boy or girl. I want anther girl, but a boy will make my hubby happier than happy. He is thinking boy thoughs so hard. Just as long as it's a healthy strong baby, it really doesn't mater to me all that much. I finished painting the spare room. It's fun now beacaue we call it the spare room, but soon it will be occupied by the new family member. My daughter has a an all blue room and the spare room is a dark and light purple color. If we find out it's a boy, she says she will move into the purple room and give up her blue room for the baby. She really wants a pink room, but I just don't know about painting a room pink. The purple room is so relaxing and cool. I'm going to decorate it now and it will be a little on the girlly side. ehehe. Mianna will probably take over anyways and then I might just keep her room blue or paint over parts of it with green or yellow. I'm off to the paint store today, just in the mood to paint, paint paint. So Tuesday is the big day for us and it just can't come any sooner. Thank goodness my apt. is at 8am, so it will be early that morning. I go to work tomorrow and Monday and then on Tuesday I go in for about 30 minutes, to drink my water and do a little work and then I'm off the hospital. I have to check in 15 minutes early so I'll be there at 7:45 and Lord I hope I can hold down that 32oz of water I have to drink prior to my arrival. The sad part is I will be all alone, no hubby, no friend. I don't know, I might as a friend, but she might be able to go with me.

Ingrid just sent me a text message at 2:16pm east coast time. She is having a girl. O my god I'm so excited.

Car crashed into again!

I swear the TL is a magnet for getting crashed into. I was the first car in line, with 3 other cars involved. YUP, yet again, it's been 2 years and 6 months and this will be my second bumper. I was stopped and just ready to take my foot off the break, i did notice hte guy behind me was stopped as well and then bump! I was like, what, how did he hit me, he was stopped. but the guy behind him was also stopped, and the dodge ram that was pulling a trailer couldnt' stop in time and hit the Acura Integra, that inturn hit the masda behind me and then he hit me. 4 car collison on the HWY 17, the same highway I was traveling on when we had the first accident. Anyways, no one was hurt and the cops showed up fast. We all moved out of the street and into the parking lot of the hotel across the street. It took the cop about an hour to take down all the into and give us our print out. the Acura integra had the most damage to the bumper of his car and you could even see the emblem of the ram imprinted in this trunk. The front end was pretty messed up too. the Masda behind me had like not even a scratch on his bumper, but his front end was pretty bent at the license plate and the damage to my TL is only on the right hand side of the bumper. I was so shook up, and shacking, but not hurt. It was just a shock and took me by surprise. O man, my poor car. But all the guys were so nice and we just talked about all kinds of stuff while we waited for the cop to put the info into his computer. You sure can learn alot about a few people in an hour. We went from complete strangers to knowing just a little bit about each others hobbies and jobs and family in that short time. The good thing is that we were all okay and we all have insurance. The guy driving the dodge was sited for following too closely and given a ticket. I'll contact my insurance tomorrow to report it and see what all we have to do. I know for fact it will cost around 700 for a new bumper, since thats what is cost last time. The guy in the dodge ram was just so happy that we were all taking it easy on him and he felt so bad. His truck had quite a bit damage to the front. Rich just happen to call when right after it happen, so the first thing I said, was I'm okay, we are all okay, but ...... I was in an accident and the car is hurt again. He took it okay and said he would call me back in a few hours.

Update

Okay so Aug was not the month for us to find out the sex of the baby. We have an appointment for 9/11 to have an ultrasound and hope to find out the sex of the baby if all goes well. I'm so darn excited.
I had a fun Labor Day weekend get away. My daughter and I along with my friend flew to Washington State. We had so much fun visiting the Island we use to live on about 7 years ago. Whidbey Island has changed just a little but still as beautiful and cold as ever. We got lucky the entire time we were there it was sunny and in the 70's and did not rain at all. We also went to Bellevue Square where we did a little shopping and Seattle was the last stop where we stayed in the Whotel. We flew out the next day and had a few hours lay over in Phoenix and then a short stop in Indianapolis and then into Jaxs. It does fell good to be home. I woke up the morning we left with a cold and now I'm full blown sick. I didn't go to work today and doubt I go tomorrow. I'm not sure what is up with my emotions today, but I'm just a little under the weather and sad. Must be this cold and the hormones.

She was not hurt, just wanted a chair to push most of the way and to sit when she got tired. My mom is getting old and she has bad knees. I picked on her most of the time, because she never really used it as a real chair. There was no way I was pushing her. Rich was ina chair in the bahamas and it was hard pushing him. But being PG, I was not going to stress my self out.

O my god, from all the way some place in the middle of the atlatic ocean, MY hubby just emailed me that good new. HE just made Chief!!!!!! He said he has the biggest smile in the universe on his face right now. I think my cheeks hurt from grinning so much.

My trip to the Big Apple

I flew out to NY last Friday to see my baby boy. It was such a wonderful weekend. Well the first day I had a little trouble with my cell phone and so the only communication was with a pay phone and text messaging was the only thing working on my phone. I made it to Staten Island safely and it was fun riding on the Staten Island Ferry. On Saturday Morning I got up around 3am and was just so excited for Rich to get to the lodge. He finally got there after noon. I was so good to see him, since we hadn't seen each other since July3rd. We decided to head into Manhattan and go to ground zero and eat some pizza. O my god the pizza in NY is to die for. The best kind from the little side shops not the fancy restaurant or pizza hut types. We were in what they call Tribeca. It’s the lower half portion of Manhattan that is shaped like an upside down triangle. After ground zero we walled to Wall Street and then from there we headed north on Broadway and headed to Soho for some shopping. Yeah everyone knows Soho is the shopping Mecca of the Manhattan, ehehhe. It was so much fun. We then crossed over to China Town and then to Little Italy to eat dinner. We ate seafood pasta and tilapia. mmmmm. For dessert we ate tiramisu and had coffee, I had decaf. After Little Italy we jumped on the subway and headed a little northwest to Time Square were we found the W or favorite Hotel? Rich was sad that I didn't get a room there, but the room coast just as much as my plane ticket for one night stay. I was trying to be thrifty and not spend a lot of money. ehhee. I promised him that we would stay there the next trip to NY. The W bathroom was a good stop for me and it was so nice and clean. We walked around Time Square until we got tired and then headed down to the train station to catch the 1 to go south to the Staten Island Ferry. The ferry is a free ride to Staten Island and the got a cab to the lodge. The Navy Lodge is nice and all but the beds Suck ass, they are so hard; I was in pain both nights. The next morning it was time to check out and head to Manhattan for lunch. We decided to go to Rockefeller Center and we found Taki Sushi not to far from there and ate some sushi for lunch. After lunch we had dessert in the Rockefeller Center and then jumped on the subway to head over to Brooklyn so I could catch my bus to LaGuardia. I really like the subway system it reminded me of the subways in Japan. It was raining all day and Rich said it was because NY knew I was leaving him. hehehehe. The rain sure helped to cover up my tears I was really crying on the inside because I didn't want to leave him. He said it felt weird because it's usually him that leaves but this time I was leaving. I love that man, I tell you he makes life so worth living and I just wouldn't know what I would be doing without him. I was really missing my baby girl at home, she stayed with the neighbors while I was in NY, and they are so awesome. Her friend’s mom is like a second mom to her and the girls are really close. I flew from LGA to Charlotte NC in this small ass plane that had 2 seats on one side of the plane and then one seat on the opposite side. I was so scared but believe it or not it was the smoothes ride I have ever took in a plane. We were about 3 hours late leaving because of the rain and most of that time we were in the plane sitting on the runway just watching over 50 or so planes take off. We finally got to NC and then the connecting flight was also delayed 2 1/2 hours and so I was just so pissed by this time and so sick of airport chairs. I watched an employee at the airport get arrested for taking money from the register. How stupid, he did it with an eye in sky watching him right next to his station. Dumb butt. How embarrassing is it to get arrested at work. We left NC around midnight and flew into Jacks after 1am. I finally got home at 2am and into bed by 2:30. I was not getting up for work in 3 hours, so I had to go in late at 9am instead of 7am. I told my boss what had happen, they love me much, and so I should be okay. I love NY and could so see us living there. We will only be a 6-hour drive away from Norfolk so we plan to visit often.

Car problems

I wanted to blogg about this the other day but since I'm like never home, I just have to do it all in one day. On Monday after my Dr. appointment, Mianna and I decided to go to the commissary to get food. We got about 175 bucks of food, got it all loaded in the car and then went to start the car and it wouldn't start. I had to call for roadside assistance and it took 45 min. In the meantime we had to take all the cold stuff like ice cream, milk and meat, back into the store for them to hold it for us. Pop a Lock finally came and jump-started my car. We drove home just fine. I got up the next morning on Tuesday and went to work. I left work around noon since I had a dentist apt for Mianna and I had to go gas the car first. After I got gas in it didn't want to start, but then I tried again and I got it started. I went home to pick up Mianna and lets just say I had to leave my car on at the dentist office. While they gave Mianna her cleaning I ran around the corner to a car shop and had the battery tested, sure enough it was really low. They didn't have my size battery but I was able to find it at Wal-Mart. I had to leave Mianna in the running car, so that no one would steal it while I ran in to buy a battery. We made it home safe, let the car cool down and then Mianna helped me and we changed the battery out. After all of that I had to get dressed and ready for my second job and made it up there on time. I had no radio the entire drive and the next few days, till I figured out how to input the code for my anti thief radio. Now I have make sure my emissions sets it self back to normal after a few days of driving. It's crazy how car are so computerized now. I was happy that I didn't have to reset the hands fee system for my cell phone. I did have to reset the clock and that was all. The car is driving like a champ now and it's hard to believe I have so many miles on it and it's only 2 years old. I have to keep an eye on my alternator I’m sure it will go next. I do love my car, but not sure if it will be enough room with a teenager, and a baby car seat in the back. I might trade it in for a bigger vehicle.

Rich on his first trip

On Wed. Richie's ship pulled out to sea, it's just a short det for them to go load equipment in New Jersey and then they take a few days to go to Main, for the Lobster festival and then I guess back to VA. I'm waiting for his call since he said they should pull in some time this afternoon. Mianna is asleep on the couch; you would think she is the PG, with all the sleeping she does. I swear, when Rich was home for a few days, he was just the same way. Everyone around me gets sleepy and all the symptoms, Not me, I'm just find. I fell pretty well. I do have cramps from time to time and last night was pretty bad. I get it low in my pelvic area and it hurts enough to bring my eyes to water. No morning sickness, only slight nausea in the evening, but it goes away as soon as I eat some thing. I have had a slight problem brushing my teeth in the morning but I think it's more mental and I just have to focus when I brush my teeth. Ehhehe. I don't know, what ever. I need to call the hospital to make my next apt. And that will be about 3-5 weeks from now. I'm supposed to make a dentist apt too. Anyways, all is well here and we are just chilling at home. I gave my two weeks notice at my second job and so that will all be over by the end of the month. Next month is my B-day and I look forward to my Mom and cousin coming out to visit from Cali.

Today I had my first visit with my Dr, and got to see the baby. It was such an awsome feeling to see the little guy bouncing around and kincking and stretching and we even got to see the heart beating really fast. We didn't get to hear the heart beating like we wanted to, but it's okay. We did see toes, fingers, legs, tummy area and a Big Big head, oya a little nose. so cute.

New front yard

On Saturday Richard and I decided to hit he fron yard hard and clean it up. We worked for 6 long hours and pulled over 300 lb of weeds. I got happy with my new electric trimmer and was playing Edward scissor hands with the shrubs and trimmed the hell out of the bushed and also a tree in the front yard. After clearing out all the junk we got new mulch and filled in a few spots with some sod. Rich also power wahed the sidewalk and the sides of the house.

Happy Surprise

I woke up around 2am when I heard my bedroom door open, I could only see a tall figure walking in, I was like half asleep and I thought to my self, Mianna sure looks tall. It was Richard, He surprised us and drove down from Norfolk yesterday. We just finished having breakfast about an hour ago. It so nice to have him home even if its only for a day or 2. The house feels so complete now that he is here. I really missed my baby. I'll have to break out the camer and take some pictures.

4th of July

This year we didn't drive out to down town to watch the fireworks, but instead we went to the pier in Green Cove and got to see over 20 different fireworks shows from a distance. There were a few that were close to us and also some houses in the area were letting off some big fireworks. We stocked up on fireworks the day before and also had some from last year, so we lit a bunch in the driveway and had so much fun. There was this one call M88 salute and when we lit it, there was a small sparkle and it seemed to do nothing, but as we turned our backs to walk back in the house it let off the loudest pop noise, that sounded like a gun shot, we screamed so loud and ran toward the house. We were busting up so hard and just could stop. We had about 5 of the m88's but didn't want to light anymore. We had a purple rain fountain and lots of alien looking firework, jitterbug or jumping bugs and all sorts of fireworks. It's pretty cool out here, because it's not against the law like in some parts of the world, so we had so much fun playing with fireworks.

Little Marcus

My sister-in-law gave birth to lil Marcus Jr. on fathers day. I love his light colored eyes and chubby cheeks.

Sunrise

My last morning in Pensacola was very nice and relaxing. I wanted to get up early to watch the sunrise and so we did just that. We took long walks on the beach and found some nice seashells and even saw stingrays in the water.

What I'm feeling right now

Pregnancy week nine. What's going on with your body? Those hormones are in full force, not to mention some dull cramping. Read on for more information about your ninth week of pregnancy.

Your Body

Pregnancy does odd things to your skin. It's all those hormones! Some women break out as though each little pore were Mount Vesuvius. "Kablooey! Thar she blows!" For other, more fortunate women, bumpy complexions smooth to the softness of a rose. (Don't gloat... pregnancy has its share of inconveniences for everyone.) As your pregnancy progresses, your complexion may even out, though some women need to wait until after the baby is born before having nice skin again.

Later in pregnancy, some women develop a "mask" of dark pigment around their eyes, on their noses, and cheeks. This is called the chloasma and will slowly fade once you are a mom. If you develop this "mask of pregnancy":

• Avoid the sun or use lots of sunscreen, as sun can intensify the discoloration.
• Avoid using skin bleach (it's unhealthy, and it probably won't work, anyway!)
• If it really bugs you, use a cover-up base.

  Help! What's that dull cramping? As the uterus begins to stretch, you may feel a dull aching and cramping. You may even find a slight brownish or reddish discharge. So long as the cramping is not severe, and the spotting is not bright red, you are probably just fine. Your uterus is beginning to grow, and the sensation you feel is the "round" ligaments beginning to stretch. This should lessen in the second and third trimester.

  This week your baby is about the size of an olive. His face is rounding out and begining to look more and more human (and less like a tadpole, now that his "tail" is nearly gone). His heart is developing and now houses all four chambers. Although not yet distinguishable, his sex organs are starting to develop, too.

  Most women have conflicting feelings about pregnancy throughout this time. Even if the two of you had trouble conceiving, Mom will go through mood swings. Both of you will worry about the financial and psychological responsibility of parenthood. It is normal! Talk to each other about what you are thinking and what you are experiencing. You will probably find that others share the same concerns and perhaps have found solutions that will work for the two of you.

Sine last wed I started a migraines and it has been 9 days of pain for me. Yesterday I finally broke down and went to the Dr to get some meds. They hooked me up to an I.V. and gave 3 different meds that made me so out of if that I kept dosing in and out of consciousness. I had some relief for about 1 1/2 hours and then BAM, like a ton of bricks working its way out of my head. I just got up from a nap on the couch and I felt so goooooooooood I was smiling and walking all normal and happy, I decided to take a shower and get fresh and so clean clean. It feels so good to feel good, but I'm doubtful it will last. It's been almost an hour, o man... I have some meds to take and if this is still going on by tomorrow, I'll be up at 6 to try and make another appointment.

Rich had the most awesome surprise at work today. He is getting ready to leave this command with his new orders to Norfolk, Va and he recently made board for Chief and is working on getting is package sent out. He was presented with the Navy Commendation award and is just so stoked. This is a really big award that is usually only awarded to Chiefs and up but he has worked so hard this past tour and he deserves this medal. I'm am always proud of what my Sailor does when it comes to his career he has really blossomed into one of the best. Way to go champ! We are so proud of you and Love you soooooo soooo very much.

Snake

Last night Mianna was on her way home from her friends house when she came running in the door to tell us she had to run around a snake. This thing was in our driveway. YUK, we do have lots of snakes here in FL.

headache

I started a bad headache yesterday around 2pm and got up this morning got ready for work , went to work only to turn around and come back home. I was up at 4 am and by 6am it hit me hard. I have been in pain for almost 24 hours now, but thank god I slept and didn't feel any pain as I slept, but this headache has not subsided one bit and the meds are not working at all. I'm just thankful I'm not sick to my stomach or anything yet, and I can still see, but my eyes are hanging low like hardly open fat eyes. This is no fun at all.

Leaving Chicago

I'm at the airport now,working on uploading my pictures on flickr. I had such a fun trip. the first day I was able to pick up my rental and make it to the hotel safe and without getting lost. This is a pretty big city and the traffic was as I suspected it to be. I rented a full size Dodge Charger and it was a little bit challenging for me to drive such a big car, but I managed to turn it in without a scratch. The graduation went well and it was real emotional feeling, but I actually heald strong and didn't cry one bit. It's so hard to believe that my cousin is now a sailor. She will be leaving to Iraq this year and will be there for 1 1/2 years.
I have to board my plane in about 22 minutes, so not much more time is left to blogg. I will finish my stories tonight. I have to finish uploading my pictues to flickr.

On my way to Chicago

I'm at the airport in jacks and still here after 4 hours because I was a goof and missed my flight this morning. The flight I was suppose to be on left at 7:05 and I got to the airport and checked my baggs in at 6:40, because I looked at the wrong time and thought my flight was leaving at 8:40. I'm such a goof. Rich to me to Denny's to kill about an hour, but then he had to get back to base, so I had to sit here and let time pass by reading a book and not i'm online with the fee wireless internet sevice here at the airport. I will probably arrive into O'Hare about 1:40 or so. I suspect that they called my name over the louse speaker when I was late for my flight, just like they are annoucing the guest that are missing there flight for ft. lauderdale. ehehhe. I'm usually always on time for flight and this was just plane funny. I'm on my my to Great Lakes, IL to see my cousin graduate from bootcamp. I know its going to be a emotional time for me, I havn't seen Bean in over 8 months and our last meeting was a short time at the airport in Phonix when I was on my way back to Jacks from a short trip to LA to celebrate a Bday with my buddy in Hollywood. I think the timing will work out find ,since I can't check into my hotel till after 3 and I will have time to get my rental and maybe just tour some of chicago for bit before I head north to Great Lakes. Security here at jacks is pretty tight like I'm sure it is all over the country. I had to get my makup out and remove all the liquids to a plastic bag for reasy display for the security and I had to give over one item that was too big, more that 4fl oz and it was my hair shine I was not too attached to it, but now I have no hair products at all. I'll have to get to the NEX and buy some thing to keep my curls under some type of controle. I'm not real good at plane rides, since it makes me a little nervouse and I might just have a glass of wine to chill me out. I wish we could blogg on the plane or surf the web, but that will not be possible. :0( I get seriouse withdrawals. O no, my flight is boarding now. have to go. O my god the lady is screaming on the intercome, ouch that hurt my ears.

Budgie training

Our baby girl is all alone, the other baby budgie died some time ago and so now pretty girl is all alone. I have been trying to train her to sit on my finger and get her use to me so I can hold her, but she is still shy. It's real hard when your never home and they need lots of attention all day long and lots of training. I went to the store yesterday to find lots of treats and toys for her. We are trying to find her a better mirror since they love company it will help her not feel alone. I actually read online that she can die of being lonely. They are originally from Australia and fly together in huge flock of 1000's . They are real big here in FL, because they love warm climates. I hope to get her trained soon. She likes to leave the cage, but hasn't left in a long time. I think the dog scares her some. Well, I take that back, I know the dog scares her. We never gave her a real name, so I just call her pretty girl.

Fashion on the edge

Okay, we all know that runaway fashion is a bit over the top and not some thing that an everyday person could wear. I love to watch runway fashion on style tv and well, I was looking at the runway show for Jean Paul Gaultier fall 2007 collectin and he had his models dressed up with head gear resembling that of a few if not all bible figures. They had on head gear like what you would see around Jesus or Mary. I just felt it was wrong looking.

Club Passion

Looks like Missy Elliot was also there, I didn't see her, Diddy was there, but I only heard the screams when people saw him. It was so much fun there. The nightclub is at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL and that's the same hotel that Anna Nicole Smith died at. Well they say she passed at the hospital, but she was unresponsive when they found her in her hotel room. Anyways on a positive note. I love the Hard Rock and can't wait to go back.

Sick

I could feel my sickness coming on yesterday but today I'm full blown sick. I called out from both jobs and stayed in bed till 10. I sat in bed blowing my nose, sneezing and reading a book. I'm so sick of sneezing, but can't stop. thank god I decided to stay home, I would have been spreading my germs like wild flower. I doubt I'm going to work tomorrow. I'll stay home and eat my chicken soup and drink pleanty water. Now the dillemma of getting a DR. note.

Cleaning house

Yesterday I was off from work and we decided to stay home and really clean house to the nitty gritty. You know how you clean up quick and then you have days or weekends where you really clean up. I'm talking take the kitchen drawer and reorganize and throw out crap and junk in the junk drawer. It's funny but we don't have junk drawer, but I clean out the kitchen so good and even pulled out the stove and fridge to dust behind them. We cleaned up so nice. When I got home today it made me so happy to walk into a nice clean clutter free home. The hardwood floor looks so good when it's free of spots and birdseeds. Our pets are the corporate to the messy house. Between dog hair and birdseeds, we have to sweep and vacuum all the time. Rich made us make a good investment into our tough animal vac by Dyson and you know how much we love that thing. I used the attachments to get into and behind all the crevasses in the kitchen and in the cabinets too. I swear we will surely miss this place when we decide to give it up. We did get our orders to Norfolk, VA, but we will not move until some time next year. Rich will report to VA this July and be out on det for about 5 months and after he returns we will plan our move to Norfolk. We started to shop around for a house or a condo and boy o boy it's expensive. It would be nice if he makes chief before we move or shortly after, we could buy a nice home and see a really good return when we sale it, but for now no stress and we stay put till next year.

Miami

I went to Miami last weekend for the SuperBowl and had a really fun time. I was online, just reading the headlines on yahoo, when I read that Ann Nicole Smith just died today, She died at the hotel we stayed at in Hollywood, Fl. the Hard Rock hotel and she also stayed on the same floor we stayed on. We were there both Friday and Saterday night. I wonder if she was there since the weekend, for SuperBowl, just like we were. Its just crazy that she dead only 5 months after her son just died in the Bahamas. read this While at the Hard Rock we saw that guy that sang Ice Ice baby. ehhehehe and also saw Dennis Rodman checkin in. I have met him and seen him before so it was no big deal to see him again. We had so much fun partying like Rock stars. and the Hard Rock is so pretty. I played one slot machine and lost 1 buck. ehehhe. I didn't take to many pictures, but I'll try to upload what I did take.

Christmas day 2006

Its 75 degrees outside and dady still wanted to lite the fireplace. Its so hot in here, but the ambiance surpasses the heat. I'm not complaining one bit. We are having a nice day and about to have xmas dinner. What's on the menu. We are having Kalua pork, corn on the cob stuffing (from the box) and zucchini, potato salad, white rice and that's it. For dessert we will have apple pie and French vanilla ice cream.

Christmas Eve

I woke up early this morning and headed in to work, after work I went to 3 different grocery stores with Rich to buy our Xmas dinner. Now I"m making decorative cut out cookies with Mianna. It's so nice to be home with my family enjoying the simple things. We will open one gift tonight, well Mianna will open one or maybe we will wait till morning. She got most of her gifts up front but I kept a few behind just for her to have some to open. This year is really simple for us and we didn't buy for anyone outside of the family. We did donate to a needy family here in Green Cove springs and I wrapped a lot of gifts for this needy family.

Freezing Cold

O my goodness it's so cold here and not yet 28, but it's suppose to get that low tonight or this morning. Wow.

Snow in FL

I know it has been a long time since I wrote on this. I just to let you all know that I experienced snow in my county for 2 days in a row. It was flurries, and nothing stuck around, but as it fell from the sky you could see it build up on your windshield and then as you wipe it with the blades, it would gather on each side and then melt away. It's so crazy our weather, we had feezing temps for 3 days and then on the 4th day it was in the 70's and it's going to freeze again tonight. By friday we will be in the low 32's and probably have snow again. I'm off to bed. talk to you all later.

Vaction Adventures

Rich and I took vacation starting the 25th of October but didn't start our vacation journey till the 26th. We got up around 7am and left around 10:30am and drove down to Key West and got there after a 9-hour drive. When we reached the Keys the sun was setting and so it was nice to drive into the sunset. We were so excited to get there and we had a trailer reserved on base with MWR. We didn't plan to stay there, but they had an opening at the last minute for the next 3 days and so we were booked for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and we left the Keys on Sunday. We had planned this same trip last year but canceled it due to the hurricanes last year. We going down for this huge party called Fantasy Fest.. And let me tell you it was just that for us, a huge fantasy fest. All I can say is what goes on in Key West stays in Key West. We had so much fun walking up and down Duval Street and looking at all the wild dressed costumes or the lack of costumes for that matter. It was such an awesome time. The first day night we checked in to our trailer and then got a taxi ride that was latterly 2 minutes away within walking distance to the main street where we walked until we reached Fogertys were we had dinner and that was awesome. I feel in love with the way they made long island ice tea and so that became my drink of the night. The next few days we just hung out each night on Duval and ventured in to some of the clubs to dace ou booties off and then back to the room for rest, to get and do it all over again the next day. We had breakfast at a few hole in the wall places that were awesome. On Sunday we headed north to Miami to stay for a few days and that was like being in another world. Most people in Miami and not from FL, and speak no English. We stayed in South beach both nights and the first night I was on a mission to take Rich to his Birthday surprise and he was very surprised. We ate dinner at Nobu found inside the Shore Club hotel and we had the most relaxing sit and talk time at the Sky bar located right there in shore club and the feel of the Miami nights are just as you thought it would be, cool, relaxing and electric all at the same time. Let me see if I can recall what we had for dinner. For our drink we had a bottle of white wine from Italy it was #304 ehhehe. We couldn't read the bottle but Rich remembered the #.
For our entree we had Chilian Sea Bass Moromiso-yaki and Rock Shrimp Tempura (Ponzu or Creamy Sauce). We had some complementary shrimp appetizer and for dessert, we had the famous bento box, it's a chocolate soufflé with green tea ice cream. O my god I live for the bento box and wouldn’t be surprised if I try to make trip down to Miami every other month just to have it. We were going to go home but decided to stay one more night and have dinner at the place I’ve always wanted to go to, it’s called The bed. I saw this place many years ago on E TV and it just sounded like a neat concept. This place is set up with many beds all around the room and two beds in the center of the room. We had a bed off in the corner near the bar and it was just perfect for a quiet dinner out. I had a nice size 9oz lobster tail called Lobster Santos hence the name “Santos” its a
Caribbean Lobster, Baked Pineapple, Celery & Tomatoes with Coconut Cashew Ginger Sauce. It was mm mm good. Rich had the Filet Mignon Tenderloin with Herb Roasted Red Baby Bliss Potatoes, Shoestring Zucchini and Squash with Choice of Cabernet or Gorgonzola Sauce 36. We fed each other in bed and we also had a good bottle of red wine and to top it all off for dessert we had Fire and Ice Molten Chocolate Cake topped with Vanilla Rum Ice Cream with Carmel and Chocolate Sauces 12. The Fire and Ice was okay, the bento box defiantly puts it to shame. After we were done eating dinner we stuck around, because the restaurant turns into a nightclub and it was themed Al Capone night for a costume party. I was already dressed up a blond mistress, with my makeup done professionally by this lady down the street in a little spa shop. Rich was dressed in him Kenneth Cole from head to toe and it was looking hot. I tell you they do know how to party in Miami. I danced with a naughty nurse, Ali G, Lil John and Rich ehehhee. It was such a fun place to party. We got sleep and headed off to our hotel room, that was just down the way in what looked like little Spain or a Spanish town are of Miami. Over all we had a good time and those of you closes to us would love to hear all the juicy stories you know we have to many to tell and could never mention them in blogg. Eheheh. Yes life was full of fun and play for our vacation and it was long over due.

Stroke

Yesterday my aunt called to tell me that grandma had suffered a stroke. She is in the hospital now and they really can't pinpoint when it happen, but the day she went into ER she had been complaining that her head hurt and her arm hurt. My mom was the one that was with here and I'm not real sure if they called 911 or if they just took her in. My aunt says that she has had some damage and it's evident in her speech and she is incoherent. They ask her what is the first name and she can say Evelyn but it's delayed. She couldn't give them her last name, but moments later would just blurt out her last name. Some of her speech is all jumbled and making no sense at all. I sure hope she is going to be okay. My grandma just turned 80 this year and I just spoke to her on Wednesday and she was telling me all about her new kitchen. She really is a strong lady and so I hope she pulls through this.

Romantic

I'm telling you all,my hubby has got to be the most romantic man ever. He still continues to surprise me and it never sees to amaze me. The things he does for me are so little but makes me heart smile all day long, now thats some strong potion. It must have been a few weeks ago, he dropped by my job on base and gave me a little sticy note, that read, I was in your neck of the woods and just wanted to say that your my everything, "some thing like that, I actually took a picture of the sticky and still have it on my computer at work. This morning he had a check list by the bathroom sink and it said, Kiss virgi all over her sexy body. I smiled so big as I brushed my teeth. Then as I was walking into work this morning I heard someone say NO, stop , hey stay. it was my love in a distance, just jogging on base for the Navy 231st bday. He walked me to work and I was so turned on I just wanted to jump his sweaty bones that second, He loves me, that man really loves me. I love you Richie boy!

Numbers are haunting me.

I got off work today and decided to go grocery shopping and when it came time to pay the bill it freaked me out that my total was 166.66. I also got payed today at both jobs and it was 333 at one job and 777 at the other job. I'm just freaking out about the numbers and tomorrow is Friday the 13th. Maybe I should play the Lott, this might be a good luck thing and not a bad luck thing. I'm not real sure but I was the top seller that week at Bebe and my sales were 6666. I know this is probably all just silly, but I thought it was a little spooky, nex thing you know I'll gas my car and it will cost 33.33. I'm going to work tomorrow on my day off, but just to bring in some good over time money for our vacation we take in about 2 weeks. I need to get my but to bed, so I can get up at 5:30 and get ready for work, talk to you all later, have a safe Friday the 13th.

ICHNETUCKNEE SPRINGS STATE PARK

Last Friday we had the most serene and relaxing day at Ichnetucknee, where we went tubing down the river. I love that place and words could never describe the serenity that was felt that day. It was like we had the entire river to our selves as we tube down the river for over 1 1/2 hours. Along the river we enjoyed many turtles, birds and lovely wild flowers and it was just a priceless adventure.

Shades of Green

I know it has been such a long time since my last blogg. I forgot to tell you all about our fun weekend trip to Orlando. We stayed at our very own Military hotel called Shades of Green and it's located on the Disney resort grounds and it so special since it's only for military. We went down Saturday afternoon and stayed one night. The hotel is so beautiful and the pools are awesome. The first night there we went to Magic Kingdom and got on Pirates of the Caribbean first and then Peter Pan, Lelo and stitch and Space Mountain. After the park we walked around the Mall of millennia and then back to the hotel. We got up early Sunday morning and Mianna decided to sleep in, while Rich an I took a quick swim in both pools and sat in the Jacuzzi as well. We did go to that what we did after we checked in to the hotel and then we went to the mall to get starbuck and walk around a little bit. We had such an awesome time. Sunday we bought tickets to the water park, Typhoon Lagoon and had fun all day with all the water rides and we even road my favorite ride, over 8 times heheheh. We were just having so much fun it was a good family weekend getaway and we look forward to the next one.

1:02am

I'm up late and my head hurts, plus the entire right hand side of my body has been in pain and feeling funky. I need to get up around 7 and will get no sleep tonight. I need lunesta. ehehhe. O man.

My belt

I watched the VMA awards yesterday (recorded) and noticed that Paris Hilton was wearing my belt from my store Bebe! Okay the award was awsome with that new Sexy back song by Justin and all the performances were good. I'm off to a party with Rich, talk to you all later.

Relaxation

I'm home from work and off from the second job. I work for the the federal gov. At my first job and today was such and eye opening funny day. SOME one at work was dump I mean dumb enough to view porn on a government computer and it put some spyware on our system and messed up the system pretty bad and actually put and icon on one of our PC. hehhe. I thought the entire thing was stupid with a capital S! You all know I'm a perv, but never would watch porn on a gove PC or any PC at that. ehhehe. Love it........ It's the drama of the day. I'm at home now relaxing with my baby girl and watching my sweet 16 on MTV. Lord, I'll have to have a huge party for her 16th Bday.

Sorry, I have been working like a mad woman ever since I got back from LA and today is such a rare moment for me, I only had to work at my regular job and so I'm home uploading my pictures from LA. I didn't take very many, but I'll post a few on flickr. So after we left the airport and headed back to Erins house to pick up her boyfriend Westin and then we went to eat at this cute Mexican returned. We had plans for the evening and headed back to the house to get ready for our night out. I wasn't sure where we were heading but after we got downtown Hollywood I recongnised the club was one that I had been too many years ago with Myke and Mary and now it was a not a rave but just a regular club. As we walked across the street to the club, we were crossing the street with Lloyd from Entourage. If you have no idea that is, it's one of my favorite shoes on HBO and Lloyd plays the secretary to Arie. Erin had recongnised him and asked if we could take a picture and so we stopped at that corner of the street while Westin took a picture of us. Lloyd was heading to the same club. We had so much fun , we watched DJ AM, that's the guy that use to date Nicole Richie off and on and he performed while the Parker dude, with all the tattoos played the drums and Too short rapped. It was such an awesome perforce and we stayed to watch the entire thing. After that we left to another club down the street and danced to 80 and 90's music, also some 60 and 70's. I was surprise I had so much energy since it was late, but really late for me since I was on east coast time and just couldn't believe how long my day was feeling. By the time we got home it was close to 3am and felt more like 6am for me and so I really didn't get to sleep at all. I was so jet lag, that I just lain in bed and stayed awake. The next day we had lots of running around to do and get things ready for the party the next day. We ate at this really good Cuban place and that was my first time to have Cuban sandwich and I really liked it. Later that day we just cleaned up at Erins parents house and got stuff ready or the party. I can't remember what else we did, but I think we ate out at another restaurant for dinner and it this was like an Irish place. After all that we just went home to rest up for the big day. We got up early Sat. Morning and we shopping at this ware house down town LA not far from China town and it was all vintage dresses. While we were shopping Erin pointed out to me that Michelle Williams from Brokeback Mountain was also in there shopping among us. She looks really tiny in person and her face is flawless. I can't believe she had a baby. I was really excited shopping in this huge warehouse with a famous star and everyone was getting undress right in front of one another since they had no dressing rooms. We had blast and Erin found a vintage 50's style bathing suit to wear for her pool party. I found a few dresses that were really brightly colored and cute. After all that the party was a success and I think everyone had a fun time. The taco guy she hired to cater was a THE BEST tacos and almost as good as my tacos ehehhe. I didn't want to get up the next mornig but I did and caught my flight to Arizona and had a 2 hours delay and was able to see Ron and Davina. I was so happy to see then since we haven't see one another in over 2 years. This was a rush story of what I did in LA, but I did mention all the fun parts.

I'm back from my short trip to Hollywood, but I've done and seen more than could possibly imagine in such a short time. My birthday was on Wednesday and Rich and Mianna got me new coach bag, that I just love. I know I'm such a coach bag lady. We celebrated my birthday by shopping by day with Mianna at the outlet malls and then we all ate dinner at my favorite stop, Outback Crab Shack. When we had got home from dinner, Erin called to tell me she was going to get my butt butt on plane pronto and fly me out to LA., So she had a private Jet by the name of Southwest. ehhehe. I love you Erin. She is the bessssteesss buddy ever. I flew to LA in a mater of 12 hours of talking to her and was on my way to LAX. From the time I stepped off the plane, I was trying to keep my eyes peeled for stars, but then as I sat on a bench to wait for Erin, guess who walked in front of me and stood for a second. That dark curly haired, dark skinned guy from Lost. It gets Better and I have more stories, but I'm too sleepy to type it all so this will be continued ..................

LA bound

Thanks to my buddy in LA, I'm now at the airport in Nashville and on my way to LA for the weekend. I took 5 days off from work to just relax and have fun. I didn't plan this trip to LA till the very last minute and Erin was a big help in getting me the flight to LA with her flight points she has earned from being a frequent flyer. Thank you Erin! and I love you. I'm in TN for about 50 more minutes and got an itch to get on the net and blogg a little bit. I can now picture all the things that Mianna went through just a few weeks ago, when she was in this same airport. I see a your traveler just like her and she is sitting on the floor by the boarding letter so that she gets a good seat and that is exactly what Mianna told me she did. I'm not sure what Miss Erin had in store for us this weekend,but I do know it will include lot of FUN!!!! I always mange to have too much fun with her and I plan to take plenty of picture to post of Flikr. Well fellow blogger, I'm off to surf the web and get settled in before we boart the flight. Peace! Fractured pinky toe

It had been such a long time since my last confession, HAHA, that's how I like to look at my blog, a short confession of my everyday happenings. Sorry to all my dedicated fans that loves to read this crap. ehehhe. I have been so buy out of my mind that it's really hard to keep up with my blogg. I work so hard at 2 jobs and hardly find time to sit at my favorite spot in the house. I'm happy to report that my baby girl is finally home. I picked her up from the airport yesterday and the story is quite funny. I went into work at CRC to do some overtime as if I don't work enough already, and I got off at 1. I knew that her flight would land around 3 and so I figured I'd go hang with Rich at the company picnic, but Mianna called and said, mom I'm here. I was like "what? Your here already" I told her I was on my to the airport. I called Rich to cancel meeting up with him and began my trip to the airport. I was thinking, boy that plane must have caught some major tail wind and hauled ass to jaxs with 2 hours to spare. DAM. As I was driving along the 295 north I got a call from Mianna again, this time sure she was already at the baggage claim, but what happen, was the plane stopped in TN and she got off, O LORD, her flight was scheduled to come straight to Jax and it said 1 stop only and it didn't mention anything about TN. Mianna called to say she was at the wrong airport, but with some help from the flight crew and an old lady that also got off on accident, they ran to get back on the flight. ehhehe. I was 1/2 way to the air by this time and was not going to waist gas and time to drive back down to the picnic so I just hung out at the airport and played bejeweled on my cell phone. So you’re wondering about the title of this blogg????? Well the day before all of this drama, I was on my way to work, wearing my cute open toe, really small, almost non existent heal shoes, that I just bought for 9 bucks at Ross. Well anyways, as I was driving I came to a stop and my left foot was resting on the rubber rest plate at the left side of the car, and my foot slipped off and banged into the rest plate really hard. O my god, the light was green and I could hardly press on the gas pedal to take off because the pain to so great. I did manage to make it to work, but I was in so much pain. I worked for 5 hours with a throbbing toe and then my boss let me go home early. I decided to go to the ER and have it checked out. They were really quick with the x-rays and sure enough my little pinky toe on my left foot is broke. It’s not bad broke, but just fractured. I left the ER with my toe wrapped up since there is nothing they can do about it and went to my second job. I worked at BEBE for about 2 hours with the funny looking toe and then they let me go home.
Mianna is still asleep since she is on west coast time and so I suspect she will be having jet lag for about a week. Just in time to get back on schedule before school starts back. I'm going to clean house a little and then maybe take Mianna to Kohl's to look at some stuff and then go to Dads friends house for this retirement party. It's to nuts with everyone around us retiring and we are almost there with 2 1/2 years left. Man time sure is flying by. We still don't know what we want to do or where we want to settle down. I love FL and do not want to sale my home. But by Sep, we should start looking for orders.

It's Friday!!!

O the joy of being off. I got up early this morning and the first thing on my mind, was to call work and see if they needed my help, but then I came to my senses and said. HELLO take a break. I'm actually off from BOTH jobs today and here I am trying make my self go to work!!!!! Silly girl, so here I am, enjoying the day and being lazy and, also catching up on some house work and getting things in order around here. I cleaned off the nook table because it became and catch all mail pile instead of a table and I shredded old mail. I vacuumed the entire kitchen and living area and now my feet are happy! The birds always have a mess around their cage and table so I cleaned that up and here we are only 4 hours later and its a mess again. They are so playfull today that they are just making feather fly in the air, you would think they had some type of bird nip thats making them act all crazy. I should put on my paint clothes and go to town in the spare bedroom, but I'm just not in a painting mood. I want the house to be spotless for when Richie gets home and that will make him smile. He always cleans up for me so I come home to a nice home, but it's rare for me to do it, since I'm usually working 50 to 60 hours a week with the full and part time job. The money is not even close to what I thought it would be but it helps out with the extras. The discount from shopping at my favorite store is nice as well. I try not to shop as much and so I buys stuff on sale. I only bough a hat this past week and it was like 20 bucks. It's like so Jlo about 4 years ago, but I love it. I have to make sure I keep the sun off my face so I can age with grace. eheheh. I feel Mianna will be dropping some major $$$ for school supplies when she gets back from SD and so I'm saving up for that. I think I might send her to AZ in a few weeks and let her spend some time there. She wants to come home early and spend some time with us, but I have to put in for some days off from the jobs. Duke is the only one that is so alone without her, we miss her so much, but he is really hurting from her being gone. He actually mopes around with sad eyes looking like he wants him mommy. I let him listen to her on the cell phone today and he kept looking around in circles, trying to see her in the phone, it was so funny.

1999 Meridian

The other night ( 6-17-06) Rich opened up a bottle of 1999 Meridian Cab that we had on the wine rack, and O MY GOD it was the BEST I have had, since the 1999 Rutherford we had with Kim back in Lemoore. the wine was what 7 years OLD. o man it was so good. Nothings

I have spent the past few days, off from the second job and with nothing to do on my day off on Friday and Saturday. Mianna is in SD and it feels like I've lost my purse and this emptiness that is so hard to fill. I was so so board out of my mind and depressed the day she left that all I did was sleep. I couldn't even get happy windows shopping on the Mac .LOL. I still feel the same today and it's Fathers Day. My hubby is out BBQing and then we will be going over to some friends house for a gathering. I've been so depressed the past few days, I thinks it's because Mianna is gone and I'm not finding things to fulfill the void. I have been on-call at BEBE so much more than I actually work and that kind of stinks. I think I'll charge my camera battery and take plenty of pictures today. The weather outside is overcast and gray so that is how I feel today. I think we need to take a vacation and go some place fun.

ER room this morning

I got up this morning and started to get ready for work as usual when I found Rich in pain. He said he came home from work late last night and just started to have chest pains and then they started to get worst. He stayed up all night with the pain and it took me all morning to convince him to go in to the ER. The Dr did and EKG and chest x-rays and blood work twice. They found nothing wrong except one enzyme that was slightly elevated. They gave him some pain killers and told him to follow up with his Dr tomorrow. I called in to both jobs and got off since I had to take him in and just wouldn't feel comfortable leaving him, incase he had the pain again. This is about the 3 or 4th time he has had this similar pain and no one can really tell us what is going on. The Dr said it was some type of fluid in his cavity wall, but not in his lungs and that it just happens. I have no idea what these Dr are talking about, because they don't take the time to explain the situation well, and the nurse was actually more informative and reminded us of the Black Dr on Grays Anatomy, Dr Bailey. Rich is in bed resting since he was up for 24 hours and tomorrow we have to get up and head to the airport by 6am since Mianna leave to SD at 7:15am. My poor Richie boy scares me some times and I just hope he gets better.

Mianna leaves to SD

I just can't believe how long it had been seen my last blogg. I usually have no time to do this, but it looks like I'll have plenty of off time this week and with my new work hours at CRC, I'll be home by 6 every day, But it I have to run to BEBE, then not home till say 10:40 or 11pm. I'm only scheduled to work 7 hours this week, so most of the time I'm off or on call. I was oncall today and they didn't need me. Mianna is leaving for SD this Friday and she will be gone for one month. I'm already starting to get sad, but I know that she will have a fun summer and love spending time with our family in SD. I'm not sure how it's going to work out with not having her here and Duke being all alone again, he is really going to miss her bad. I suppose I should use this time that I'm home to make dinner and clean the house a little and do some laundry. It's like my work is never done, we just work work work. UHHHH. I'm so ready to stop working. Today we are having bad weather and I just heard on the weather channel on my XM radio that there is a tropical storm called Alberto in the gulf and he can develop into a hurricane and this is the first storm of the season. Tropical Storm Alberto, which stengthened between Sunday and Monday, is holding shy of hurricane strength. As of 4 p.m. CDT, Alberto's maximum sustained winds remained at 70 mph, 4 mph short of Category 1 hurricane strength.
Hurricane warnings were issued today for a portion of the Florida Gulf Coast. A hurricane warning means hurricane conditions may occur in the next 24 hours. The warning area covers the Gulf Coast from Longboat Key to the Ochlockonee River. A tropical storm warning has been extended northward to the Savannah River on the Atlantic Coast.

There is a slight chance that Alberto could reach minimal hurricane strength before making landfall around Taylor County, Florida by early Tuesday, but the storm seemed to weaken a bit on Monday afternoon.

Locally heavy rains may induce some scattered flooding but the general area has been very dry lately. Many locales will pick up 4 to 8 inches of rain with isolated 10-inch amounts possible. A storm surge of 8 to 10 feet above normal tide levels can be expected in the warned area which extends from Longboat Key to the Ochlockonee River. Isolated tornadoes are always possible with landfalling tropical systems.

The Season Ahead

Experts say the 2006 season could be another very active one. The latest forecast from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) calls for 13-16 total storms, 8-10 hurricanes, and 4-6 major hurricanes (Category 3 or higher).

Seeing more clearly now

I got my eyes checked a few weeks ago and it just so happened it was on the day I had my pampered chef party and Lugo's going away party. I remember I as blind for about 4 hours after I had my pupils dilated. YUCK that really sucked! Today I picked up my new eye glasses and everyone at work likes the way they look on me. Mianna said I look younger and look like a college student. Now all I need is my braces and I'll really look 20 some thing. ehehhe. I love my new BCBG Maxazria glasses. ehehhe, I had to go designer... I'm such a nut. I have contacts ass well, but only need correction in one eye with the contact. I had Mianna snap this shot of me in my new look.

We went to see it today and I loved it! We all loved it. way to go the movie is making big bucks!!!! Holly looked so hot with her new slender looking bod and salt and pepper looking hair.

Crazy Busy

I have been so busy I haven't had time to sit at the computer to update my blogg. I worked at my full time job today but I'm off from BeBe for today and tomorrow. Then on Wednesday and Thursday I'll be working both jobs. I'm off from CRC on Friday and Sat, but work at BEBE both days and that makes a total of 57 hours this week. I'm finally getting the hang of the register at work and started helping clients with purchases and fashion decisions. So far I really like working at Bebe and the girls I work with are the coolest. Friday I had my pampered Chef party and for anyone that wants to order let me know by Wed, since I'll be closing the party then. We also had a farewell party for Lugo since he will be leaving this week to Puerto Rico for good. Rich finally painted the remainder of the living room and made me sad by painting over the kitchen. I was so sad I cried. He painted it without even asking me first. I was so hurt and now I have to paint it back, it's so ugly and blah! I have to get off this thing and take Mianna to the store to get a Bday gift for her best friend. I'm out!

While we watched the Hippo's play it was so funny when one of them started pooping while wagging it's tail and the other one was drinking from the water. The entire crowd broke out in a loud EWWWWWW!!!!! it was the funniest thing ever!

Girls Night Out

My night out with girls was a success. We ended up going to a club in South Side called the Globe. We did shots of patrone all night. Well I had 2 1/2 and called it quits and only drank water and XL energy drinks..mmmmmmm, But S and C had so much fun and we danced our booties off. The atmosphere was great, but the kids looked so young, man we are getting old and it's so strange to be around such a young group of kids. I was having flash backs of when I was in my 20's and that was not too long ago. Our partying days of about 10 years ago, was filled with so many memories and good times. I wish I had some old pictures, but my friend M has all the pictures. I like to look back at them and see how skinny I was use to be with my short ass skirts and belly baring tops. This celebration was for S's Bday and lets just say she had way tooooo much fun!

Indoctrination

I start my indoc for BeBe on Monday and Tuesday night will be my first day at work. whooo whooo. I'm so nervouse but excited at the same time. I keep telling everyone that I'm Jamaican with 2 jobs man!

Hooked on Sugar

While we were in Tampa shopping at Sephora I decided to buy this bar of soap by Sugar and I'm hooked after my 7 day test. This soap smell so good and makes me feel so soft I don't need lotion after my shower. I still put lotion on, but O man O man, this stuff is the best. I went to Sephora on Friday and they only had 3 bars left. I was told they would stop caring them, but I could still buy it online. I forgot to buy the last 3 bars, but hope they still have it when I go up next time. Rich even likes the soap.
