Summary of my BPPV

I thought I would try with all my might to do one thing that makes me happy... Sit at my Mac and type a little summary on my blogg. I must say I run a fine line between keeping an online summary for myself and wanting to keep my readers updated on my everyday LIFE!

O, my goodness, just to get all off subject I have to tell you that my birds are whistling to Ludacris song, Georgia...it's too funny, she was bumping to the beat real good. O my goodness she is really doing this, now she is doing it to this Pharell song and I'm just busting up at them as they play in the cage and make little noises with the beats, too funny. This is I; I just speak my mind and have to get all off the subject at the drop of a hat. I think it would be much better for me to update my blogg by voice, since I'm trying to type with vertigo, LOL.

I have to try and keep things as normal as I can and this is one thing that makes me so happy. I love to type and sit at my computer, hell I work with a computer all day, and it might not be in the way I would prefer to and on a system that most people don’t even use anymore. Yeah, my job is so behind the times as far as technology is concern but O well. I miss my coworkers. I have not made it through an entire workweek in over a month now and it doesn’t look like I’ll be going back anytime soon. I am trying my hardest to get well and it looks like it’s going to be a long and slow process.

Rich woke me up this morning and had all kinds of news for me. He is the BEST and I will tell y’all with all my heart, that he Listens to me and is such a take charge and caring person. I truly have my soul mate. Anyways, he woke me up this morning and said, babe I have an ENT appointment set up for you and it’s at 10:30 today. Big smile from me but a little wine in my voice, because I was up until 1:30 this morning and I’m just not a morning person and probably would have slept the day away. Ehhehe. My baby knows me to well and I’m so happy he got me in to ENT today. You all know I was hospitalized for 2 days and had a CT and MRI test done and that all came back good, but with the hearing test I had today at ENT, they found that I had high tone hearing lost in both ears and my DR had suggested more MRI and MRA test for my neck area. When I was in the hospital they were only focused on my brain and that was all good. We have to rule out nerve diseases and then we can move on from there. I’m a little excited about gong to the specialist in town, because they will run some really fun and in depth test on my motion. I’m only looking at this entire process as fun so I can make it past all of it with flying colors and FIX ME already. Dam it!!! No more drugs for me. I have been drug free for 4 days, but did take IB this morning for my cramps that are kicking my butt. I have to try and take Valium alone to see if it helps my vertigo and then let the DR know what it does for me. I have to try and go back to work, but Rich says he will take leave to be home with me and I'm not going back to work. =o( for now. sad face from me. I don't want to have to use saving to live, if we run out of money to pay bills. REAL LIFE. that is what I'm worried about.

Cleaning house

I have been so fed up with this dirty house and so I have my family working like crazy to clean house. From the day I came home from the hospital with my cane in hand and all, I was cleaning house. I feel much better, but I'm still rocking my boat and having tension headaches on a constant basis with my eyes jumping like crazy from having to try and focus so hard. I have an ENT appointment on the 2nd of March and if I can hold out I will wait until then to have my hearing test and just try to schedule a sight test for the same day. I have no need or want to go to physical therapy since I have been walking better without the meds and I'm typing better too. I have pain and fullness in my right ear, but not so much that I need meds for it. I have taken my self off of all meds the DR gave me and I feel much better just dealing with the vertigo on my own without the meds. I have to take a break and just relax once in awhile and if it gets real bad and my stomach hurts, I sit down or lay down. Rich just power washed the outside of the house and now he is going to wash my car. I was thinking about test drving the H3 and trade my car in for it if I like it that much. ehhehe. I keep giving Rich a hard time about trading in his truck to get the H3, but he hates Hummers. We do love the TL too much but I'll still check out the H3. LOL. let me get off this computer and try to clean up my bedroom. I just feel much better when my house is clean and can't stand the clutter for one second.

Feeling good at the moment

At the moment I'm feeling good. I just got a sudden urge to update my blogg,since I have more hand and eye coordination at the moment. I'm typing a little slow on my laptop that is sitting on my vanity stool up against the tub while I sit in luke warm water watching Gray's anatomy. I must admit that this feeling of being my self is sooooooooooooooo good. I had one spell of vertigo today, but I fought it like a champ and took no meds. I'm sick of meds and will not take it unless I absolutely need it. I did come home from the hospital and wanted to clean my house like a mad woman.

I'm out the tub now and had to stop typing from the tub for many reasons. First, I'm using some expensive laptop around water, ($1700.00) reason #2 Could damage Gray's Anatomy DVD $(19 bucks) reason #3 Virgi getting electrocuted, (priceless). Most of you who know me, can relate to my accident prone ass! I'm feeling much better just sitting her on the love seat in our formal living room just taking in the scent from a mango, papaya candle that Stacy from work, just brought by a few minutes ago. My friends at work have showed much concern for me and Stacy is one of my good coworkers that I get along with well. I'm almost completely off of the pills they gave me but I have been taking Ambien to help me sleep. I only take 1/2 a pill and so far, have only had it twice at home. Meclazine doesn't make me drowsy anymore and only makes me sick,so I have been fighting the vertigo and not taking a DAM thing. I'm stronger than this and I'm going to get past it. If there is one thing I know, it's that I'm a stronger little Guamanian lady with a temper and stamina of a Tiger! ehhehe. I miss the stability in my legs and feel it's gone from walking around like a darn old lady with no balance because of the vertigo. I have 8 days off from work and I will take as long as I need to get better. I will do as I please and remain strong. I miss being on the Net so bad, I was having withdrawals at the hospital.
Rich has been taking care of me like a queen like he always does and he is watching the las 8 laps of Daytona 500 and I wish we could be there in person. Next year we will be there. It's a very gloomy day with a bit of a chill. I'm off of here to watch the last 3 laps.

Home from Hospital

I have no time to explain the situation right now, but I'm home and recovering still! I had a CT and MRI. all came back good!

walking problems

Last night I got off work at 6pm and couldn't walk at all. I was not dizzy, not sleepy, just had no feeling in both legs. I used my work chair to get around, since it has wheels and just stayed to chat with the 2nd shift gals, until Rich came to pick me up. I'm heading back to the hospital today at 2pm and check out what's going on or what they can do. I think it's a side effect from the pills I'm on. I'm walking today, but very unsteady. I look so funy walking around like Rock woman thrying with all my might to take each step. I have to get ready now, since it might take me longer to get myself together for the appointment.

Just read Ingrid blogg and we are so opposite with the weather here on east being COLD as hell. It's 31 out but it feels like 24 with the wind chill factor and will get down to 28 as time goes on. I'm up really late or should I say early. I can't sleep, think it's my meds. :o( sucks, I'll be so sleepy tomorrow. I plan to wear my fir coat, hat, gloves, and scarf. Just when I was going to write I feel better. REALAPSE. I'm not better guys. I feel the same. my vertigo kicked in full force this morning. I tryed to call Rich, his cell phone rang on the dressor... silly man forgot to take his phone. My Dr. is not answering his phone. I'm just stuck at home and not feeling good. I guess I could always call 911 if I get that bad. I'm going to lay on the couch now and just relax. it took all my might just to type this blogg.

ENT appointment

Well guys, my ENT appointment went well. Finally someone who can understand me and relate to all the symptoms I've been experiencing. I must say, they found me clogged up in all orifices. I was so scared to have my ears cleaned out but after Rich held my hand and the Dr. did all he could to make me feel comfortable and keep my mind off of the procedure, I passed with flying colors and no PAIN at all. I had enough in there to make a candle and they were joking about it the entire time. Rich said he would make a little shadow box to house my collection. The Dr had suggested that I return to ENT 3 times a month to have my ears cleared out. I did wake up with redness around my right ear and heat. Dr, noticed that right away and asked if it's always like that, I told him no and only found it this morning. I'm in an early stage of infection and so he prescribed some antibiotics. The Dr said that my impacted ears were causing the vertigo and that I should have no more symptoms now that it's all cleared out. He did check me for positional vertigo and found none. I fell much better but just very irritable. I have been on edge for the past 3 weeks and it's probably due to all this mess. My nose cavity was also inflamed and so he sprayed some liquid in there to help open up my breathing path and suggested that I continue to use my flonase and when I return for my follow up he will recheck my nasal cavity and see if we should proceed with surgery (septoplasty) to open it up further. After talking with Dr. Clark, we discovered that he know our Uncle Dr.Castro. heehhe. They were really good buddies back in DC and after that discovery Dr. Clark really relaxed and began to talk more with us about the procedures and then proceed to check Rich out and talk with him about his procedures he as had in the past. It's such a small world in the Navy Medical field. Dr. Clark was also trained by the Dr. that did Ritchie’s procedure back in the day and she use to be #1 surgeon in the field. I feel so relieved to find out that my problem was more of simple one with simple solutions and I'm at ease now. I will take one more day off from work and on Friday I return to the hospital for my other appointment. This time I have girly issues to deal with. I was diagnosed with a low grade of abnormal cells on my cervix and since I haven’t been keeping this up to date in the area, I might get a little bit of spank on the hand for not taking care of things. I recently got an email from my friend in Japan who just had surgery to remove a cyst on her ovary that had ruptured and it was such a mess for her. I also have another buddy that is going through some ruff times with her endometriosis. We will all live through this. Today Rich told me I should go back to school now and become the next Dr. in the family. ehehhe. I have the will and the skill, but not the MULA. hehehe LOL, any donation would be nice...? Okay so I took my sedative and I'm waiting for it to kick in but nothing yet. LOL

Sedative and Antihistamine

I was prescribed Meclizine and Valium to help my vertigo. I was curios as to why they would prescribe Valium of all things, for vertigo. I got home to read about it on MSN Health and it is called an unlabled use. An unlabeled use of a drug is when a doctor prescribes a medication for a purpose other than that for which it has been specifically designed and approved. Sometimes a drug is prescribed for a specific unlabeled use so often that doctors consider it a common practice.
Anyways the Valium was locked up and the Dr that had the only key was gone for the day and so I only got more Meclizine and I just took my second pill. I'll see the ENT tomorrow and see what he tell me and also pick up my meds. I'm home from work for the next two days and some thing tells me I might be home even longer. this position is not good for me so I need to get off now and go to bed.

Sick of the ER

Once again, I got extremely dizzy with my vertigo and went into the ER today. I have an appointment with ENT tomorrow and I hope they can find out what is wrong and try to help me. I'm so SICK and fustrated, with being sick! I'll keep you all updated

Couch, Chase, Bed

I have been looking for some thing just like this to go in my formal living room. I love the way it can convert to all the different things. I'm so going to buy this!!!! LOL I have to call Rich now and tell him. He was going to leave me the Truck today, but I told him to leave me the car. I can go put it on hold and then we can pick it up tomorrow. I hope they have it in stock.

Feeling better

I'm felling much better and at least now I can drive with lots of caution and walk on my own but still with much caution. I have been working on my Resume and job hunting on Monster and a few other sites. I have an interview/test with a huge company this Saterday and I'm already nervouse. I just hope that I feel more like my self when it comes time to interview. My eye motion is a little wacky, but I can manage to focus. I wasn't expecting to go in for an interview so soon and so my Resume is not done and I have no clothes that will fit me, that are good enough for and interview. My old size 0 Express slacks will not fit my big dagan. It's so hard being 10lbs up from my normal weight. I'm growing to love my new size, but clothing is an issue. I will go shopping to try and find some slacks and a nice blouse for the interview. Wish me luck with this one. I will be making about 25-35000 a year with up to 5000 in bonus money and a raise every 6 months. NOT bad ha?

Vestibular Neuronitis

I went to see my regular DR today and she diagnosed Vestibular Neuronitis. I have had this once before but much worse and the effects of Vertigo went away in a matter of days. It has been 12 day for me now and they say this can take up to 2 weeks or longer. I'm suppose to continue with my meds and I can stay home for 2 more days and should return to work on Sunday. I feel much better when I'm not using my hand too much or looking at things in motion, like the letter I'm typing on the screen. At the moment my boat it rocking a little out of controle and my eyes are playing tricks on me hehehe.

My Dr did say that if the cold goes away but the dizzyness stays, then I have to go back in and run more test. This is when it gets scary beause your messing with nerves in the spine and brain stuff like that.

The ER Dr I saw on Sunday told me that I have Second degree nystagmus. This is present in the primary (neutral) position of gaze; second and third degree nystagmus are usually vestibular in origin. The nystagmus is there because of my vertigo and if you can olny picture how confused my brain is. My eyes see no motion yet my brain is being told I'm in motion.

In English... I should be all good to go!

Behind the Wheel

Okay so Rich took me out to the base today and I decided that I felt comfortable enough to get behind the wheel and drive. I feel like I'm taking baby steps to get back to normal. I'm still slightly off in a sense and my focus is something I cant' take lightly. I have to make a conscious effort to focus on the motion around me and not the motion going on in me. If you can just imagine for a minute, that you are rocking, not too bad, but just enough to know that your moving front to back or left to right and now your in a moving vehicle with motion all around you and under you. FOCUS, FOCUS FOCUS. When I sit still and type I'm a little sea sick feeling. I would have went back to work today, but I just know the sound of voices in my ear and the focus I have to give to the computer screen that in it's self has a little motion , will just not work for me like this. Anyways, I'm off to my DRs appointment so cross your fingers for me.

2nd trip to ER

I have had no relieve from the affect of the dizzyness that I have been experiencing for 1 week now. I was in the ER for the second time in 3 days and today I finally got some meds to help with the vertigo. My head cold is what is causing the vertigo and its because of the entire inner ear, mechanisms and so the Commander I saw today gave me some meds to help clear up my ear and make the dizzyness go away. I have only taken one pill so far and fell a little better. I'll take it 3 times a day and have a chit to stay home for the next two days and get back on my feet. I hope this works for me. I'm so sick of rocking in this boat. The DR says I'm only about 2 degrees off, when he did that follow my finger test with my eyes. If he had performed the test when I was feeling the effect full force at work, I wold have not been able to follow his finger at all. That gives you some perspective on how bad my vertigo is. I needed help to the bathroom and walking.

Trip to the ER

I have been sick since Sunday and just when I thought I was feeling better I decided to return to work on Wed. Today I went in for about 2 hours and was feeling really dizzy. I called the hospital from work to see if I could get an appointment and they said they were full and had no appointments. They put me online with a nurse that told me I should go into to the ER. I was in the ER for about 20 minutes and they called me back and put me in a bed and hooked me up to a heart machine and vital machine. I had no temp and heart was all good, except the Dr told me heard and extra sound when he listen to my heart and that was the first time anyone has ever told me that. Anyways, we looked pass the heart sound since he said it might just be my breathing sound along with the heart and they proceeded to check me out and ask all the normal questions. They found my ears were all plugged up with was, nothing new for me since I have a history of ear wax and so they flushed my ears and they also found I was dehydrated and so they hooked me up to and IV and gave me 2 bags of solution to hydrate me. Now I'm home feeling almost the same , but just bloated with this fat belly looking like I'm PG, which I'm not. I think my body is holding all the dang water I've been drinking alone with the 2 bags they gave me with the IV. I was in the ER for 3 1/2 hours and it was so strange to be there listening in on all the patients around me as I lay there resting. The lady next to me was in because she thought her breast implant might have a leak or something, and then they put another lady down on the end that was having a panic attack with this loud OUCH OUCH with a Filipino accent and she was just so out of it. They pumped her with morphine and finally calmed her down with more meds and then had a DR. and phyco consult and all sort of DR going in and out to see her. She was fine, just freaking out. I felt a little silly being in the ER, since I was not dying, but I have been so dizzy for the past 2 days, Rich had to take me to the ER and also took me home on Sunday when I called him to tell him I was sick at work and needed to go home. You all know I hate going to doctors and I hate being sick. I usually never get sick, but this one is kicking me in the butt. I'm off to bed now and thank goodness I'm off tomorrow, but I should be working on Sat morning. I might have to get out of it, if I'm still feeling bad tomorrow. I'll probably call to see my family practice DR this next week if I can, just get another check up. I'm still a little dizzy. No ear infection, but my head is all stuffy and they did give me some meds for that. I sure hope this mess goes away because I hate it.

Home sick

This is my first cold of 2006. I made it the entire year of 2005 and I don't recall getting sick at all last year. I went to work on Sunday and by the end of the day I was just feeling horrible and Rich had to come pick me up and drive me home. I have been sitting home since Sunday, just relaxing and drinking lots of water while taking Theraflu and Sudafed. I just ate a bowl of ramin noodles with egg and it was pretty good, helps the clear up my sinus when I drink the hot juices. I have managed to file our taxes while I've been home. I must say that FL taxes makes such a big difference over CA. I will stay a resident as long as I can. I love Cali and all, but they have some F up taxes in that state. We do not pay state taxes here in FL and we can claim all taxes we pay on major purchases, clothing, food, the works. I'm a super receipt savor and some people find it hard to believe but I do save every single receipt. I was upset that a few of my receipt were blank because of the type of paper they use to print the receipts, so I was not about to read a few of my WinDixie receipts and have learned a lesson for next year. I'll have to make a copy of my receipts that come from that store from now on. I got one yesterday when I went to go by my medicine,so I'll have to make a copy of it. I'll get my envelopes ready for this year and mark them Jan-Dec 06. I hope I feel better so I can try and go back to work tomorrow, but If not Ill just take one more day off, thank goodness I have sick leave hours on the books I can use.

Yesterday we had home made pizza for dinner and I was proud to serve it on my serving tray. I used my Pampered Chef pizza stone to bake the pizza.

Hot and Cold

I got off work around 6pm yesterday and the temperature gauge in my car read 72. It was so nice and warm and I even open the window and sunroof. Today I get off work at the same time and the gauge reads 54 and now it's 42 out and dropping. We have such wacky weather here in FL. The new says we are under a freeze warning for tonight. I'm so ready for the heat to kick in and have sunny weather everyday. By March we should see some beautiful Florida weather. Okay, we are going to walk the dog now, in this cold ass weather , blogg with you later.

I live for shoes

I cleaned out our walkin closet and found some shoes I forgot I owned.

I also cleaned out and old purse and the stuff I had inside was pretty interesting.

Bowling

After work today we went bowling with Ron,Brandis and the kids. I'm so horrible at bowling that I got charity shots from all bowlers, for my handycap. I'm so sleepy now, it's hard to type. I'll jus post the pictures and let them do the talking.

It's my Friday

O man o man, nothing feels as good as your Friday, no matter what day of the week it might start. I'm over worked and under paid. ehhehhe. This comes from ME, who use to make a killing and now only make a little over minimum wage. I was doing a search on a job site that posted the min, med and max amount I should be getting compared to the rest of the people in my area working at the job I do now, with the minimum pay falling at twice what I make now and the medium at 31,000 a year and 37 for the height. I SO need to move to a bigger company and make some more MULA. The housing market here is insane and cheap, I just want to get in on a bigger and better house with all the extra money I could be making and also save for the next 5 years for my KID to go to college. Rich is such a good saver and has more then 8 times the amout I have saved and I'm so proud of him. He plays a little in stocks and I just love it when he tells me he made 200 over the past 2 day and he just keeps it up we will have a good chunk to help our girl go to college and have some good saving. She says she will only go for a masters, but right now she is itching to do some modeling and I'm lagging on helping her get in to an agent. She could be making more than me. ehehhe. Anyways, back to the plan at hand..... Rich was talking to a friend at work that suggested I check out the place he had an interview at , they are paying $22per hour for my same type of job. The company is much bigger and so it reflects in the pay, but I'm sure the stress is about the same or more. Some times peoples are so RETARDED on the phone. I've see it , or should I say, heard it all. I'm on it . I'm on it. Found some more homes, tucked away in flemming Island that are right up in the half a mill mark, but killer looking homes and we really don't need that much space, but I'm sure they have smaller models that cost less. I will not sale this home, but will rent it out and try to go that direction. I have to go, Project Runway is on and it's a must see for me. Sorry I havn't had much time to Blogg and was so busy during the Holidays but it'a new year and I'm ready for the new stories I'll blogg about and get to look back on one day.

Night Job

My hubby started his night job today and I'm missing him so BAD, come home. I'm so attached to him at the hip that it's not nice for hime to be away from me at night when I'm so use to having him home. The only good thing to come from this new job is he is making his way up the ladder to try and make Chief, so if this helps I'm all for it but that doesn't mean I have to like it. cOME home HoNeY HONEY> I miss YOU GOCHU. lol

Sea World Orlando,Aligator Farm and New Years

We finally made it out to Sea World Orlando on Friday. This place is nice and we watched the Shamu show and a few other shows as well. Rich and I rode the Kraken and that was fun. We had a few free drinks at the Anheiswer Bush beer tasting and I tryed this new beer called B-to-the-E. . If you don't like beer, you might like this, is taste less like beer and has no bitter tast at all. At the end of the night we watched the fireworks and then headed home. We had planned to go to the Zoon on Sat, but had so much to do that morining we had to changed plans and went out to St. Augustine to the Aligator Farm. I had the most gross thing happen to me while at the farm. I was about to enter one of the bulding, but never made it in, when all of a sudden I felt a huge spash hit me all over from above. I just stood there with my hands out to the side as I said outloud, "Please someone tell me that it's raining or that is water that just hit me all over. NO it was not raining and not water. A GIANT Stork like bird had SHITTED all over me. I was covered so bad, on my forhead, hair, houlders , chest area and even on my camer, camera case and strap. I had to go to the bathroom to clean up and then my grandma bought me an Aligator shirt to wear for the rest of the day. I will never forget the last day of 2005. After the Aligator farm we went to Richie's coworkers house for a lttle bit to hang out and then about 10:30pm we headed downtown to watch the fireworks on the blue bridge. I spoke to my mom and Mianna on the phone just before midnight and wished them a early Happy New Year, since they are in the West and we were celebrating first here on the First Coast. Oya, I forgot to BLog Happy New Years to you all.

On the move

I was just looking at old picture and thinking about how much time has gone by and how we have been moving around so much over the past 16 years. Will we ever settle down and plant our roots in just one place or will we continue to move. I love the feeling of being able to packup and get on to new adventures. I'm not sure if we will actually settle down here in Jacks, just because we bought a house doesn't mean we have to stay here. I would sale the house with quickness and move on to the new place with swithness. We have been house shopping as if we are ready to move now.lol I heard about the fires in Oklahoma City and its just ironic that I was uploading some of my Oklahoma pictures. We are almost in 2006 and it's so hard to believe it's already here.

Duke is missing Mianna

Well Mianna made it into SD 45 minutes early and we were all surprised by the early arrival, since they were not expecting her to come in early and her ride was not yet at the airport. Mianna called me the minute she touched down and said the landing was really ruff and when she landed in TN she said it felt like the wheels were going to fall off. I'm just happy she made it safe and I feel like she is just so grownup now that she can travel over 2000 miles away from home ALONE. Duke is really missing her and he was looking out the front door all day, thinking she would come home from school any minute. He was sleeping out side her bedroom door all day. He knows that she is not here and we tried to explain to him that she would be gone for 2 weeks. She spoke to him on the phone and he just jumped up and down and then turned the corner to go towards her room to look for her. It's so funny how close they are and I'm scared for the day to come when he leaves us. Duke is so old and had so many grey hairs now. He is right here by my feet as I type this.

My baby girl is in the air now and should be laning in TN in a few minutes. I'm just sitting here waiting for the flight to land and for her to call me as soon as she gets off. Grandma is here

We finally have our grandma here in FL. We took here shopping a little bit today and now we are sitting by the fire place just watching Lost on TV. I have to get some rest since we will be up at aroune 3am to take Mianna to the airport since she is heading to SD at 6:30 and we live one hour from the airport and have to get there early to check in and bagage check.

Sold Out

Phase 11 of our neighborhood has SOLD OUT! Wow it's hard to believe that it only took a year. I just looked down the street last week and the frame went up on one of the 9 homes down the street. I'll be sure and take a picture of it for you all to see. I did see a wild turkey today in our neighborhood. Mianna saw this guy last week and here he is again. I went out in the rain to take a picture of him and he ran from me with quickness. You can see how gloomy and wet it is today.

Doctors Inlet

We went to look at more home this morning and we found the new site called Doctors Inlet Reserve and it's located right off the 220 and only about 9 miles from our house back towards Flemming Island. The neighborhood will be complet with 313 homes and has 2 building phases with homes in the mid 200's. They have 2 builders and one is my old time favorite builder (Ryland home) We went in 2 models. The first one was called Jennings and it was small but didn't feel small with tall ceilings and the set up was ok. The next model (Kernan)was bigger and a little nicer of a set up. I like Ryland because they work with your and you can change the floor plan and customize it as much as you want. They have lots of standards that are upgrades with other builders.The other builder in the neighborhood is Corner Stone and we went into two models there. First we walked through the Kingsley and I believe the other model was called the Seaside.Rich was not impressed with the homes all that much. Mianna stayed home while we were out shopping but I showed her my favorite model of all the Castille 1 with the option to make a second master suite on the second level and that would be for her. We would have a loft with a view to the lower level and that is the part I like with Rich liking the loft. All I really want is more room to add a in home gym and still have room for our guest. I'm not sure if they are building teh Castille in the phase 11 or 111, but we have time to sale and build the new home.

King Kong

My review on the movie, LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT. Lots of action with some comedy at the most unexpected parts in the movie. Overall it puts Jurassic Park to shame and was awesome. It was weird to see Jack Black play a serious but deranged part. It was a nice change from his comedy and he actually gave me no laughs during the movie. It's definitely a must see but I still favor Narnia for the best movie of 2005. I didn't cry but my heart was in pain at the end.

I can't believe I forgot to blogg about this MOVIE. o my goodness it is Sooooooo Gooood I totally want to read the book now. I loved every minute of this movie and left the theater so happy and just like WOW. We are on our way to see King Kong and I'll try to blogg about that when we get back.

Mura Bella

I took the girls out to St. Augustine Outlets to go shopping and then we decided to visit a new neighborhood down the street called Mura Bella. It's so Italiana. You have to say it with the accent. Anyways, they say it takes 9months to a year to build and the homes look pretty nice and the neighborhood is HUGE. take a look at the different builders in the area. I like

The Gressa is nice also but cheaper in North Florida. I like the south better in St. Augustine and World Golf Village.

up late

Once again I not able to sleep and so I'm sitting her uploading my pictures and wearing my new funny hair style. NOT really my hair style, I'm just trying to get some curls for the morning time, since I lost both my curling irons at the Hyatt the night of the Party. I think lots of people are uploading on Flckr, because it's so slow. Okay, I"m off to the bed to try and sleep. nothing much to blog about.......O wait, I forgot to mention that Rich made the best taco dinner tonight and he made it all from scratch even the salsa. I had like 4 tacos and Mianna did the same. Big hugs and kisses for being such and awesome cook and an all around awesome hubby. I lust over this man when he cooks so good. I say Lust because the passion is so great for his cooking it's much stronger than just the love. I have new way of greeting him in the kitchen when I get home, but my butt butt is not able to jump up and give him leg hugs very well. I love you Richie boy. Muah!

9 homes

Well this is such exciting news for me to tell. All 9 homes on our street are in place with 3 already having the foundation in and only 6 more that are ready to be poured any day now. I just can't believe how fast this neighborhood has grown in a years time. We closed on our house last year on Dec 20th and our anniversary is just around the corner. I'm excited to see the homes go up and see how much they will sell them for. We are still debating on Selling this house, but I really think we should keep it if anything and just rent it out. We really only have a year left and we are out of here, unless we extend for 1 1/2 years and stay. You never know what we might have to do. I would love for Rich to stay in a little longer, just enough to get Mianna out of College, but he is so ready to get out NOW. He will not stay in past 20. I'm pushing him for 23. Let me get off this thing and go clean house.

Sizzle Novelties

Last night I went to my friends house for the lingerie party. I ended up buying a few lotions and creams. We had so much fun just playing with all the toys and busting up when the vibrator fell on to the floor because I didn't turn it off all the way. LOL. No I didn't buy one but I did buy a bullet. I thought it would be fun to use in many different ways. Okay enougth sex talk. I have a real party to go to tonight. Fun night

We had so much fun last night. Let me start from the beginning. It was a really cold, gloomy and rainy day. I got out the house around 12noon and headed to the beauty college to get my nails done and eyebrows waxed. Rich called from the house and said he was ready to go. I headed home and we loaded up the TL and were on our way. We went to the hotel first to check in and get our room keys. After that we went across the way to eat dinner at Ruth's Chris steak house. The restaurant was inside the Hilton hotel and the food was pretty good. They serve your steaks on a plate that is about 1800 degrees and so with every bite that you take your steak is at peak eating temperature. Of course this is really expensive place if you never heard of it before, but most of you have, the entrees start in the 20's and the appetizer start at 10 bucks. The side dishes are 5 bucks. Rich had a glass of Silverado merlot 12 Bucks, with his favorite rib eye steak and a BP with the works. I had Petite Filet with broccoli and a glass of Peter Lehmann syrah. O I forgot we had seared ahi tuna for an appetizer. I would probably like to return one special day for the ahi and sit by the window overlooking the St. Johns River. From Ruth's we cold see our Hotel right across the river. I'll work on uploading the pictures when I get home. Right now I'm actually sitting in Ritchie’s office typing on his computer, he had to come in for duty today. He just walked in and gave me kisses and said we would be here for about an hour. Okay so after dinner we went back to the Hyatt and up to the 4th floor to our room. This room was dirt-cheap for us at 74 bucks and the real rate is 1000, a night. Crazy ha. Anyways it was a nice room even though it was a handicap room. I liked it because we had a huge bathroom, nothing fancy like I thought it would be, but still a nice room. We got dressed and I ended up leaving my hair down and just curled it the same way I did last year. My dress was on and we headed out, all of a sudden I hear a loud rip. O my goodness. I had just stepped on my dress and ripped it in two places. I was sad at this point but then I just had to hold my dress as I walked. I ended up ripping it in four different places before the night was over and then off with the dress and into my jeans so we could head to the Martini bar down at the landing just a short walk from our hotel, but it was raining so the valet guy gave us a free ride in the car he was trying to valet, eheheh. After the bar we just walked back to the hotel since the rain had finally stopped. I never got any sleep, since we were drinking monster and amp with vodka and that kept me up with the caffeine that's in them darn energy drinks. Rich slept like a baby and I was only getting to sleep at 8am when it was time to get up and pack. We left early so we could get breakfast at cracker Barrel and now here we are. Rich is calling me to come out to the PC, (are in this building) but I'm content just sitting here listening to XM radio online and typing this blogg. I better go check on my man and see if he needs me. O, I have some good news Rich has a new JOB and is now on his way to adding this to his eval so he will be in the line up for a promotion to Chief. I can't wait for the day. I think I'll just get a kick out of seeing him in the uniform. I always tell him, it's just that man in uniform sexiness that I love. LOL. Overall we had a fun night and I'm still wearing my princess necklace. LOL I'm thinking about returning it to the store, it turned around too much and curled up on my neck, but I got lots of complements on it. Everyone was dressed up NICE and fancy.

Hyatt Regency

Tomorrow is our Xmas party and we also have a hotel room for the night. Check out the website, we have a heated rooftop pool. I'll be wearing my BCBG Maxazria gown and the necklace Rich got me for and early Xmas gift. I have to go to bed so I look rested. I need to get up early and get a manicure, pedicute, my hair did and makeup. Wish I had a pesonal stylist to come to the house and do all this in my home, but instead I have to run from place to place and then We will get dressed at the hotel and go eat dinner then back to the hotel for the party. I'm so excited. You want to see my necklace. I look like and feel like such a princess in this thing. Can you say SPOILED. ehhehe I don't care what people think, I will try to wear this like everday. LOL.

Hanging on for dear life

As I was driving home from work yesterday I notice this weird looking branch hanging on my passenger side mirror and was like Hmmm. I picked up some speed and figured it would fall off in a little bit, but then I swear I saw a mouth of some sort come out of the leaf, "What in the world is on my mirror". As I drove along I began to wish it wouldn't fall off so I could get home and take pictures of it and figure out what in the world it was. I got home ran in the house took the digital and shouted for Rich to meet me outside. I was sure this thing was not from this planet and THEN, Rich said it was a caterpillar. I grabbed a branch off the ground and started to take push at it to try and pry it off of the mirror, I was not about to touch this thing. I finally got it off of my mirror and decided I would give it a home in my tree. I dropped the darn thing on the ground and that was the end of it, but I did notice 2 black firry looking catapillars in the tree and so I proceed to take picture of that. As I was heading back into the house some thing bright green and HUGE caught my eye and GUESS WHAT another freaking caterpillar. O MY GOD I'm living in this caterpillar freaking world today. I was like such a little kid, I ran in the house to tell Rich all about my caterpillars and showed him the picture on the camera. I'm silly ha? Okay with a little research I found out that the the little guy that was on my car is called a Scalloped Sack-Bearer and it's a structure building caterpillar that is found in the East from New England to Florida, west to Iowa and Texas. Cool ha? The little black harry caterpillars are called Giant Leopard Moth.

Sea World

I'm home alone just playing on the web and then it hits me. I want to go to Sea World Orlando. From the looks of it on the website it looks like fun. It's so cold here, but maybe its warmer in Orlando. I would love to go today, but really don't have the money, so maybe next payday. Rich is on his way home and Mianna should be home in an hour. Bush Gardens is another park that looks like fun. Maybe we will go there too.

Christmas trees 2005

Mianna put up her own tree in her bedroom and it's all pink and blue.

I put up this tree in our formal living room and in a few days I'll put up a real tree in the family room. That will be a total of 3 trees in the house. I'm just so excited to have our first xmas in our home. I'm still trying to put up the rest of my decorations throughout the house.

Mango

We went out to eat with some friends at a place called Mango and the food was sooooo good, Mango is all Puerto Rican food resturant and it was awsome. Today was so nice and warm and it's still warm out with temps in the 70's and it's 11:34pm. Crazy weather made me clean my car today. Watched Desperate Housewives and its getting good. Now I need to take my butt butt to bed. Tomorrow is Black Monday After Thanksgiving Sale, I might have to do some " windows" shopping.

Necklace hunt

Today Rich and I hit the mall all day in search of a necklace to go with my gown. We discovered the mesh style necklaces that come in white gold and two toned beaded. I had some pieces on that were worth over 3000, but the best one of all was only 1000 some with 70 off and we passed it up for now. Rich couldn't see why it was worth so much, but it was so pretty. I'm not sure if we will get it or if I'll just wear my pearls. I'll try to find a link to what is similar to it. Some looked like this but without the pearlsclick here I also had on one like this. We had so much fun and it was funny how we attracted so much attention when ever I had one on, the entire store would ooo and ahhh and say how pretty I looked, I was a princess for a day LOL, hehehehe.

Haircut

I got my haircut and colored today. I had to go to the hair college to try and save some money since my normal cut and color usually cost over 200 some. I got it done so dirt cheap and it looks cute. I'm happy with it and Rich likes it. Mianna didn't notice it and thinks it's the same as it was. Some time she is just I don't know, retarted. My hair is nothing at all like the way it use to be. Anyways, I have my dress and hair ready for the x-mas party and now all I need is to figure out what accessories to wear. I'll need a necklace, purse and shoes to top it all off and I'll be ready. I'm excited for x-mas since grandma and my mom will be coming out to FL. I need to start my X-mas shopping. I'm so bad I still need to mail out Bryce B-day gift (sorry it's so late) I've had it for weeks but was bad about getting it in the box to mail it out. I kinda ripped Elmo's butt butt when I took him out the box and so I have to fix it. ehhehe. Ingrid, I'll try to get it out this week. Okay I'm off this thing, need to go relax.

We took Mianna out to KoKo's for a habachi style dinner and it was nice. Everyone there was celebrating a birthday so we heard the song like 5 times. ehehhe. We had ice cream cake and actually woke her up at 5am to sing to her when she was half sleep and crumpy.(a.k.a crusty and grumpy) That was dad's idea, he didn't want to wait all day to do it. LOL She loves all the gifts she got and would like to send a big thanks to Nina Ingrid for the makup and the sweater, she LOVES it and it fits.

Anatomy Roller Coaster

Grey's Anatomy was such an emotional roller coaster. I really liked tonights show. The theme song is so sultry and smooth I might have to buy it.

One week later

Yesterday we decided to head back to Orlando to do some shopping and to watch the fireworks at Epcot. We live so close and so it was an easy drive to The Mall at Millenia, this place is HUGE. I'm talking HUGE and I was in heaven. I planned to focus on finding a X-Mas dress and had no luck. But we did have fun window shopping in all the fancy stores and we even treated ourselves to some Godiva chocolate. mmmmmmmmm. After shopping we ate at P.F Changs and then headed over to Epcot. We were just there last week and so it was nice to return and stay for the fireworks show this time. We decided to go as solo riders on test track since we love that ride and that was just as fun the second time around. I would love to go back to the mall today, but I'll just save it for next time. I think I'll clean house all day and then take Mianna out to St. Johns Town Center. Mianna's Birthday is on Tuesday and we still have no set plans. Yesterday was like and early celebration for her and she wants to go shopping at Limited Too for her winter clothes. I've created a madness with this Limited Too shopping. I'll take her today if we clean the house up really fast.

Back to the gym

Today after work I had my first workout with free weights and also a bar with weights. I'm so glad to be back at the gym now and I'll try to work out at least 3 times a week after work. I started last week and hope to get back into shape and be able to fit some of the old clothes better. I'm up about 3 sizes from my normal size and about 10 to 12 pounds from my normal weight. I'll try to get down before Xmas and fit into a cute dress for the Xmas party. The instructor that tough the power flex class has a super tight body. She is what I need, some inspiration. I'm off to take a bath and relax my muscles in the tub.

Dreaming and back to work

I was enjoying my vacation a little too much and was sad I had to return to work today. I had a pretty easy and slow day. I laughed allot with my coworkers as always on Sunday. I watched Constantine (trippy movie) and now I'm home just anxious for Desperate Housewives to come on. Rich liked Constantine, I can't really say I liked it but it was a trip and now I need to watch some fun happy things so I will not have nightmares tonight. Speaking of nightmares, yesterday I had a pretty weird dream. I was in what seemed like my grandparents house a mixture of the one on Guam and the one in San Diego. Davina was in my dream holding Rayleen as a baby, but we exchanged no words. And I never saw her face. My mom was in bed and I got into bed to lay next to here when I noticed she had really pretty orange colored sheets and I bent over the side of the bed to look down and see she had a matching dust ruffle, when I noticed some pillows on the floor. I sat up and got out of bed to pick up the pillows. She was laying on 2 other and I picked up two and then noticed there were two more. I picked the last two pillows up and then noticed it was strange she had a set of 6 pillows on her bed and they fit side by side in two's so the bed was huge. I also noted all the drool marks on the pillow and told my mom her bed sheets were so pretty but she seriously needs to wash the pillows. She laughed at me and it was so real sounding. I really thought I was awake and not in a dream, since it was all as clear as day and nothing was blurry, with all colors. I walked to the bathroom since I need to go Pee Pee so bad. I couldn't find the tissue but then noticed the white tissue on the tank of the toilet and sat down with the tissue in my hand. I didn't close the bathroom door and all of a sudden I couldn't relax and got real scared I could feel it in my chest. I looked to the open bathroom door and there was my grandfather standing outside the doorway. I froze up in shock and said to my self you are dead. I thought I was seeing his ghost since I didn't know I was dreaming yet. He asked me to come look at something he was holding on a tray. He was holding this tray full of stuff in the air with one had, just like a waitress and I noticed and recognized as much as I could on the tray. The things I noticed the most was a large blue container of salt, you know the kind you pour out. Well, grandpa use to keep a bunch of stuff close to him on his table by the chair he sat in to watch TV and the stuff on the try is what he use to have by his chair. I could probably even find a picture among my stuff with the same blue salt container he use to keep complete with the rubber bands around the container that he use to collect from things like the newspaper or where ever he obtained them and would use them to close up his bags of chips or pretzels and stuff of that nature. But anyways I thought this was all so strange that he had his tray and had something new he wanted to show me on the tray, but I got close enough to see the tray and looked down at what he was pointing at but never saw what he was showing me because I backed off quickly and he looked me in the eyes and rolled his eyes in a way of disbelieve or anger that I wasn’t paying attention to what he was trying to show me and then I walked backwards in the bathroom and he vanished. I sat on the toilet trying to relax again to P, when I realized I had just seen a ghost and started screaming help me and the top of my lungs, I could see my family members coming to my help in the distance and they never got close to the bathroom and that was when Rich heard my screaming and ran to the bedroom from the family room and woke me up. I was in shock for a little bit and then got up to Pee after I asked Rich to turn on all lights and then started to cry as I told him my dream. I slept well last night all alone with no dreams and just curious as to what my dream was trying to say to me. Man.

Disney World

We are back from Orlando and had a great time there. We started our vacation on Thursday and just got home yesterday at 9pm. The first night we drove down 142 miles, took us exactly 2 hours and found our hotel. We stayed at a really cheap hotel called Howard Johnson and the hotel was nothing fancy, but it did have a HUGE jacuzzi and a heated pool.We sat in the jacuzzi to soak our soar feet on the first day and also swam in the pool. We spent the first day at Disney's Animal Kingdom.We went on Kilimanjaro Safaris, Dinosaur,Primeval Whirl and watched it's Tough to be a Bug in 3D. We let Mianna choose the parks for each day and on the second day we visited MGM and Epcot. on the last day we did a little bit more at Epcot and road the Monerail to The Magic Kingdom and then back to Epcot to get on few more rides and eat dinner and then we headed home around 7 and was home in time to watch Desperate housewives even though it was a rerun :o( My favorite rides were Soarin over California and Test Track at Epcot. Misson Space was also fun but it made me and Mianna a little queasy. The entire stay was so much fun but by the second day my feet were killing me and Mianna was the only one ready to go home by the 3rd day, she just wanted to leave. We will go back next month for her B-day most likely. We spent Richies special day at Epcot and the Magic Kingdom, he had a good Birthday. Our vaction is still on, but no more Key West since the storm changed our plans.

Weekend with Maddison

We had little Maddison all weekend. She loves the carmer and so I took a few pictures of her as she walked towards me. She is so much fun to have. She gives us the little fix we need, when we have a want for a baby. I love little Maddison. I had her sleep with me on my chest the first night and Mianna had her the next night.

Garage Opener

We finally got our garage opener installed yesterday. Rich and his friend Craig put the garage door opener up and I'm so happy. Now I just have to program the TL to open the garage door from the buttons that I have on the inside of my car. The opener came with 2 buttons for the car, and they are in a neat wood grain, that actually match the interior of the TL. Now Rich has to figure out how to install the keyless entry.

Hanging Ledges

I finally put up the modern black ledges on the cranberry wall. I also hung the iron hook by the fron entry for hats and jackets. My friend Sheila helped me hang the green shelves in our formal dining room. I not done yet but I took a break from all that hanging. I still have 8 more shelves and ledges to go.

Level-Line

I picked of some display ledges at our new Kohls store here in Flemming Island and I'm tyring to put them up now. Take a look at what the ledges look like. I'll post some real pics when I'm done.I'm decorating the cranberry wall with black metropolitan ledges but I have no pictures frames yet.

Hurricane Wilma

I was just watching the weather and Hurricane Wilma is the stronges ever recorded hurricane on the coast and it has slowed down only 1mph below the level that would make it a level 5. I'm just sad that it's going to hit they keys and souther FL, since we are suppose to be going there next week for the big Fantasy Fest. Rich says it not going to stop people from having a party, so i suppose we will still go. I'll keep you all posted on our conditions and weather. Right now it's beautiful and had been cooling down for the past week. I actually had on a turtleneck sweater yesterday.

Luxurious

We are all in love with this song at the moment. Mianna has the CD and well I'm trying to upload some song to Richies mini so he can go jogging. Right now I filling it with Bob Marley songs and he asked me to take of the Ashlee Simpson I put on when the mini was connected to the computer. ehhehehe. It's too funny. The mini can hold 1000 songs, not bad, but we have more than 1000 songs on our computer. I'll need the regular IPod for me. ehehhe. one day. O the song is on the Gwen Stefani CD and the title is Luxurious. Biggie Small aka Big papa did the same beat back in the day and the original beats come from a super old song. What I'm into is TI. you don't know TI, owell then, you'll just don't know then. TI.... I love his voice. Ummm. U don't know me. The south is rubbing off on me and I do miss the WEST. Okay I better go to bed now, I'm sleepy and this ipod is taking for ever to download 500 songs.

iTunes TV

Last Sunday we missed Desperate Housewives because we were at the Jaguar game, but thanks to iTunes, I downloaded the episode we missed for 1.99 and just finished watching it. I just love iTunes. Now I really need to get the new iPod.

OOps. I've had a long day

O my goodness. I just wrote a long blogg and it got erased. Couldn’t use the back button to save it, I'm sad and not going to write it all over again, but I'll just say I had a long day and now I'm home alone for the first time ever in the evening and I love how I have control of the TV and the computer and the same time. Rich is having poker night with the boys and Mianna is at a sleep over. Today we went to a retirement ceremony that Rich was apart of and he told me he will have one when he retires in 4 years. I'm excited for the day to come, but scared at the same time. Chang can be good. Leaving the military life after 20 years is hard and will be a big adjustment. Rich is on his way to achieve all his goals he has planned and I'm trying to be his #1 support. He wants to have school done in 4 years and the work for homeland security or some thing along those lines. He will major in Aviation and pick a minor is some thing else. ?? Not sure what yet. I need to catch up and get my butt butt back in school I do have lots of credits and I'm sure I can have AA soon, but right now I have no desire to go back to school. I have to get back in the swing of things. The retirement party today just made me think about how fast the next 4 years will go by and what in the world will I want to do with my self. O life. LOL I can only think about our vacation we will take in 3 weeks. Key West here we come. South beach, Miami, O man I'm so excited. We might even still go on a cruise trip. Okay, I need to get off this thing and finish watching the first season of DHW.

Surprise

Monday was Columbus day and Rich had it off and surprised me by painting part of our family room with the peanut butter color we picked. The room looks a lot smaller and warmer. The color mimics a lot of the woodgrain in the floor. I love the overall look and soon will be adding more touches to bring the space to life. Decorating is so expensive, I have to take my time. Our couches are hidden in the space now, but it's got that overall monochromatic feel. I will be adding lots of white to the space and maybe some couch covers since we can't buy new couches yet. I had my wicker chairs in there, since we have been entertaining a lot lately and we needed extra seating.

We won

The Jaguar game was so much fun!!!!! It was even more fun because we won. I'm sure we will doing it again someday. We had the hook up with Richies friend at one the booths and I dark a budwisesr in a little football cup. The stadium is so nice and the Bud Zone is a really cool spot to hang out. I only took a few pictures and I'll post the best ones flickr. The half time show was real simple with some nice fireworks.

Jaguars host the Bengals

There were only 6 tickets left when we bought ours. the guy in fron of Rich bough 3 and we got 2. We are going to our first Jaguars game tonight and I'm excited. I'm sitting in the bath room as I type this just thiking about what I'm going to wear and if I have anything with Jaguar colors. I'll try to take lots of pictures and post them tomorrow. The game starts at 8:30 and will probaby not be home until 2am. Rich is lucky he is off tomorrow, but I work at 10. Wish us luck! It would be nice to see the Jaguars win a home game that is SOLD OUT.

Shopping

I saved 135 bucks at BEBE today. They had things on 65% off the already marked down prices. SWeeT!!!! Mianna has a growing tast for the clothes in the sport section of the store and fell in love with this sweater. I got this and this and this. We aslo ate at P.F. Changs and for dessert we had this awsome cheese cake called KAHLUA COCOA COFFEE CHEESECAKE.

Amish Cinnamon Bread

For the past month we have been making this Amish Cinnamon Bread and it's just awsome. When you make it you have to divi or divvy out the batter into 4 ziplock bags and you pass that on to other people and that is when the 10 day process starts. Yup it takes 10 days to make this bread but it is soooooo goood. We just made some yesterday and then made more again today. It all started with my coworker who brought the bread and batter into work. MMMMM good.

Poker night

Last weekend the boys played poker. This weekend we will have a new crew for poker night. I'll be sure and take some pics. This pictures was not taken by me.

Much needed update

Sorry for taking forever and a million to update my bogg. LOL. I wanted to post the new picture of the kitchen and the orange frottage treatment we did to the walls. Our kitchen is really small but it took us 9 hours to paint it. We still have some touchup to make and then we will start painting the family room and nook area. We picked a color by Behr called peanut butter and a dark brown color for the fireplace wall. We plan on buying new couches one day and I have my eye on a white sofa. The family room will be a little modern with simple decorations and abstract area rug.

Not much to talk about except I have been working like crazy but in about 21 days we will be taking a vacation and not sure if we will go on a cruise or just go down to Key West and have some fun during Fantasy Fest. I'm so ready for this vacation. I will be off for about 11 days. I think I'll check out some last minute cruises to book for our vacation. We will be celebration Ritchie’s B-day and our special day that we consider and anniversary of sorts, and it has been 14 long ass years now. Dam... Rich is at night school getting his edumacation and I'm in charge of dinner tonight and so far we are having smoothies LOL. I need to get up off of my but but and go to the store for some food to cook for dinner. I might just chicken out and buy some fast food LOL. I'm so lazy right now, but I did sweep the entire floor when I got home and I’m still in my work clothes. I also cleaned up the kitchen some and maybe I'll take some more picture and close-ups of the wall in the kitchen.
