I wanted to surprise Rich and so I installed the kitchen nook chandelier all by my lonesome. I'm so proud of ME. LOL I think it looks great.

Hurricane Katrina

Rain Rain Rain. Last night on my way home I got soaked just walking to my car with and umbrella. I had on a light skirt and it was wet all the way through, I managed to keep my head and coach bag dry, but I got well every were else. Now it's raining HARD. I telling you, when it rains in FL it doesn't just rain, it RAINS HARD AND SIDEWAYS. LOL. I dropped Mianna off at school and now I'll just relax and clean house. I do need to go pick up some more paint to finish up our rooms. Katrina is small but she is moving slow as a turtle. I think there are 4 people reported dead down south.

NO more 6 Feet Under.

I'm so sad that my show is off the air now. We watched the last episode of Six Feet Under on Sunday and I just finished watching it again, I'ts so sad, but I like the way they ended it.

Trentin

When I had got home from work yesterday Rich told me he ran into Trentin on base. We havn't seen or heard from him in over 12 years. Trentin just moved here from Spain with his family. He is still married to the same lady and I'm not sure how many kids they have now. I can't wait to invited them over and have dinner or a BBQ. Ingrid, I'm sure you remember Trentin. I know I have some old pics some place in a box. Remember when we went to the haunted mansion and I was PG with Mianna? Man that was almost 13 years ago.

Hardening Muscles

Okay so I finally got to see the physical therapy Dr today and he told me that the hardening of my buttock muscle is causing the sciatic nerve to get pinched in my hip area. Its all because I sit all day long at my job and so I learned some streaches to help it. He said it will eventually happen to the left side so I have to streach on both sides to make it all better. Anyways, I probably would have never started to have this problem if I had only kept up with going to Yoga and getting my twice a month messages. SO I'm going to start working days this Monday and Ill try to make some time for yoga and messages again. I need to get a regular message like I use to. It funny how the little things make suck a difference in your life, but going from being a regular work out person to just not working out at all, is BAD for me. ehehhe. I'm not sure if I'm going to like this new days schedule but I'm full time now and I will work from 10-6 everyday, but keep my same days off.

Cranberry

Yesterday I got home from work to find Rich and Mianna had painted the long wall in our formal living room. Just the day before we had went to Lowes and picked out the colors for your formal rooms. They painted the wall with Eddie Bauer Signature paint in Cranberry. Mianna and I started to paint the dinning room in Sunseet beach by the seaside retreat collection and it's a really pretty yellow. the rooms are not done yet, but we will have it done soon. I'll post pictures as soon as it's finished. Rich also added the handles to our kitchen cabinets and it gives it a real nice look.

4 years

It's hard to believe that it has almost been 4 years since Aaliyah passed. The anniversary of her death will be on August 25th. I'm still sad about it after 4 years and it feels as if it were just yesterday. Time is really stuck in fast forward.

Late dinner

Late last night Rich was out with the people from his TDY class and they had dinner at Carrabba's. I had to work, but since I got off at 9 he decided to Waite around for me and I actually got to meet the entire crew. We decided to go over to Johnny Carinos so that I could eat dinner there, since I wanted my Jalapeno trout. mmmmmm. Now I'm going to eat the leftovers for lunch.

SAD

I'm sad. I was going to buy my Pottery Barn stuff tonight, and it's gone. all gone. I'm so sad. I wanted them shelves so bad and the chairs are also gone. man!!! it as up there for month and went down in price and the one day I finally decided to go and buy it, it's gone. I SUCK

More on my everyday encounters with the wildlife in FL

Today I got up early and decided to take Duke on his daily walk. I have been going down the new road for a few days now and today I crossed the street to my neighbors yard and was startled when Duke walked up on the grass by the sidewalk and some thing huge jumped. O my god. I couldn't believe my eyes and Had to run home with Duke to get the camera. It was like something out of a movie, I have never encounter such a thing. It was a HUGE grasshopper, I have not done a google on it yet, but I took the pictures to work and my boss called it a Georgia grasshopper. O my goodness this thing is HUGE, I'm talking as large as an adult hand and so pretty with red wings and a yellow and black butt. I was scared of it so I stayed far away, but I was only scared of it taking a giant leap, and with the size of it's legs I wouldn't be surprised if it could jump twice my height. When I got home from work, Mianna told me that dad had killed a cotton mouth snake today. It was only a baby and I took pictures of the head and tail, but the thing is , Rich said it was very aggressive and the fact that it's a baby, scares the hell out of me, because that means the momma is some place close by.

Sun bathing with FL wildlife

Rich lain out in the backyard and it was so funny when Mianna yelled a butterfly is on dad's butt. We all ran over to watch and literally this butterfly was there for like 10 minutes. While I was taking pictures of the butterfly and busting up I seen a snake. O MY GOD a snake, Mianna was just about to run out and warn him before he got bit, when her new fried Elise said " no it's not a snake it's a skink. A what? I finally seen the rest of it and was relieved that it was only lizard. Elise said she just watched a thing on Animal planet about it and said it's called a skink. I looked it up and to be more specific it's a Juvenile skinks and it's native to FL. The most common one of the 3 is the Southeastern Five-lined Skink but the Broad-headed Skink is also another type and it really hard to distinguish between the 2 or 3. After it left the bug it was eating under Richie's chair it ran towards the tree and I read that the Broad-headed Skink like to climb high up into trees so HMMMM. After I folded up the chair I found a grasshopper and an albino looking frog. Just a little too much wildlife for me. LOL

Pain go away.

Well guys, I was thinking I was feeling all better when all my pain, just started back up yesterday. I miss my physical therapy appointment on Monday and now I wish I never did. I have to wait 2 weeks for the next appointment and in the mean time I'm just taking my naproxen and felling like a pill junkie. I hate this. I can't really sit for long periods of time because it really starts to hurt and then my thigh and foot go numb and the back of my thigh just hurts. This dang nerve damage is not going to go away. My entire right side of my body, from head to toe, is in pain. Suck sucks sucks. What really sucks, is that I have to go to work and sit for a constant 8 hours. Last night I was in pain and so I had to stand up and do my job. My sciatic nerve is what is being triggered, so they say by the muscles in my buttock that are strained, or what ever. I have no clue really what the DR told me since he talked so dang fast, but I got that much out of his explanation for my problem. He had asked me repeatedly if I have ever had an injury or if I was lifting heavy thing. NO , NO and NO. But then being female and that fact that I had a child might have a little bit of some thing to do with the problem. I also read a little bit about it on the net and it could be a number of things and if this pain doesn't go away they will probe me. O GOD NO. The Dr says that it goes away 90% of the time with meds and therapy and that was comforting to hear. I'm just hoping I'm in that 90 percentile

Spotting a fraud

oooo I'm so sick of these stupid *#@%$ from the UK that make these realistic email from Amazon and say that my account has been activated and it could be fraud.*%#@ OFF> I know it was a fake, for one the IP address was all wack and Amazon wouldn't send email like that also, it was not secure. Make sure your account is always a secure link, I learn that is class a few years ago. If it comes from your bank or Amazon or anything like that it will be an https:// with no S it's not secure. Guys be very careful with your emails. NFCU had some fraud emails going around too.

Petter Jennings

Wow, I'm just now finding out that Petter Jennings has died. Sad, I loved watching him on the new and was sad when he stepped down and now he is gone. Also found out that Supermans wife has lung cancer and she never smoked a day in her life. wow. scary

Seeing double

Okay so a few months ago Rich started getting his haircut at this salon in Orange Park. Every time he would get his haircut and use our debit/visa card, it would get charged twice. The haircut cost 11 bucks, and so when I would look over the bank statement I would see 2 charges back to back for 11 bucks. This has happen so many times that after like the 4th time I told him not to use the card there any more and to just pay cash. Mianna just recently got her haircut at Avenues Mall this pass weekend and today I was going over my bank statement and what do you know, they charged us twice for the cut. I had to call the lady and the manager just credit my account for the charge. I will never use my card at that salon again. eheheh. What is up with FL and the double charge at the salons. I know the lodge has the same problem when guest use there debit/credit card, and so just be careful to always go over your statements and don't second guess them charges you know you didn't make. I have to get my hair cut next, but I will go to The Studio. I love that place to death. Okay have a good bloggin day, I'm off to get ready for work now.

New street

I just took Duke on a walk and decided to head east on my street and it's actually a street now. They have completed it and it looks so good, now they have room to build all 9 homes that will go on our street. I was finally able to see the Builders daughters house in the corner on our street and she has a 3 car garage and I'm sure it's a 4 or 5 bedroom. It looks really cute from the outside and the windows are nothing like the windows on the homes in the neighbor hood, so it stands out in a good way. I just can't wait to build our next home.

Space

Tomorrow space shuttle Discovery will return to Earth. Lets all hope it has a safe return and landing. I was reading an email from my friend Hayleigh that Mars will be the closest ever to earth on August 27th and it will apear like the size of the moon to the naked eye. BUT.... it's a HOAX Mark your calendars for August 12th when Mars joins the Perseid meteor shower for a beautiful display on August 12.

new haircut

Mianna is all ready for the first day of school. We went to her school on Friday and got her scedual and met with all her teachers. Today she got a hair cut and it's simple but cute.

Our clean garage

We finally finished cleaning out our garage today and it's so beautiful. Now all we have to do is get rid of the red car and we can park the truck in the garage. We will put in a garage door opener and then paint the garage floor.

Flowers

When I arrived at work yesterday the first thing I noticed was some flowers on my desk, I said to myself, wow someone got flowers. I decided to be nosy and look at the card, when I seen my name on it. LOL. O man, what a big surprise. Rich had got me some flowers for my birthday. I sat at my desk all day just smelling them and smiling. I had a wonderful day. After work I headed home to find the truck was missing. I called Rich, "where are you? I'll be home in 2 minutes. RICH (" when are you") I'm home silly. NO your not, yes I am and that is how I know your truck is not in the driveway. ehehhe. When he got home he had some fresh sushi from KoKo's and that was what I had for my B-day dinner. He is so thoughtful and always does things so nice. Oya I can't forget he moved my car for me and when I got in the car to head home I found a note on the dash by the instruments. I took pics for you all to see.

Sugar & Jitter are lost

Mianna didn't put the hamster cage back together the right way and woke up this morning to find both hamsters missing. Just great, now we have them loose in our house and there is no tell where they could be. This place is over 2000 sq feet and I just can't believe they have gone missing.

Physical Therapy

Okay so I just got back from the Dr office and let me tell it was a too funny. As soon as I got there I checked in and then this lady come up to me and introduced her self, she talked so dang fast I could hardly keep up with her, so I forget her title, but she is some type of observer. Anyhow, she asked me if I would like to participate in a the program of being video taped for training. What they were going to do was tape me and the doctor while I was in for my visit. I said yes and singed a few papers and then got my vitals. They took me in to a room real quick and man that was nice, if you have ever been to a military hospital it's nothing like on the outside. Today must have been my lucky day, I was going to have my 15min. of fame and they put me in the room right away. Next thing I know the Dr comes knocking on the door and introduces himself to me and explains that my original DR had to go home with strep and so he was going to see me today. After he left that lady walks in and says, since DR Miller is out today we will not be taping. The nurse jokes that I won't be famous today. ehhehehe. Anyways, I finally got to see the Dr and he seems to think that the muscles in my buttock are having a spasm and causing the nerve in between them to send the pain and numbness down my legs. He gave me some neproxin and is putting me in physical therapy. He says if all of this doesn't work then we will do more test and take more extreme measures. He said that 90% of the time this should treat the problem. I don't remember what the medical name for the problem, but O well. I went to the Dr and I feel better knowing that it's not going to be such a big deal. O hey, it's my B-day.. I woke up this morning to find this huge note right outside my door, and it was from Mianna. Thanks baby girl, I love you.
Margaret called yesterday and wished me a Happy B-day early,she got mixed up and couldn't remember what day. ehhehe. Okay guys, wish I didn't have to work today, but I'm off to work.

ARMCO

Okay so Armco is the builder and I just think they really stink. Yeah, more problems with the house. Mianna has has a broken sink for over a few months now, but only because I never took the time to call the builder and let them know about it. Anyways, we are also waiting on our dishwasher to come in and that has been over 6 months now.I was talking to my neighbor and she is having problems with a leaky toilet. Lord help us, our warranty is only for one year and I better get my but on the phone and add a few more years to it if I can. You know you can buy more warranty and that's always cheaper then having to replace or fix things in the long run, anyways I'm off to work, and by the way I have a DR app. Tomorrow to see about my hurt leg ;o( I'm hungry. Nicki's Baby shower

We woke up this mornig at camp Blanding and then headed home to get dressed and pick up a gift for Nikki's baby shower. I just fell in love with the way she painted the inside of her house and she had it nicely decorated. It's a really small house compared to our home but it's cute. I took horrible pictures, but I did the best I could in the small space we had to move around in with like over 30 or 40 girls packed in. Rich is back out at the camp site and I'm trying to decided if I want to go back out there, or just stay home to clean house and do laundry. Mianna is starving and I'm too lazy to cook. I know this sounds crazy but I would rather do laundry and clean house, than cook dinner today. I might just take her to the mall and eat some mall food. ehehhe. We wanted to watch a few movies, but they only had early shows and no late show times.Let me go and post the pics from today.

Bloggin

Okay I'm home from work, yeah, they called me in on my day off and being the nice person that I am, I went in for 5 hours to help out. I answered the phone and then did the internet since Joe was not in to do it. I love doing the internet it's real easy and If I could I would just do it full time from home and not even go in at all . hehehe. wishful thiking. they should make it a position and let us do it from home. NO let me do it from home. LOL. slow season would be too slow to do it from home, but when it's real busy we have about 10,000 transaction in 22 days. so you can imagine how busy it can get on the internet. I couldn't do it from home unless I had the system on my home computer because things are forever changing in our systems and some times we don't book for certain places when the system goes down at any moment. Anyways, I'm home and Mianna wants to stay home till she can watch her show at 8 and it's over at 9, so we will head out to see dad at Camp Blanding as soon as her show is over. I'll just check out my daily bloggs and email. maybe go shopping on the net. LOL. i'm in the mood to shop, hey it's payday. LOL, no, we get payed but it all goes to the morgage. Rich didn't' make chief but I hope he does next year. My poor baby works so dang hard. He pass the test and made board, but they just don't pick his package. ;o(

Green Cove Springs Jr High

Mianna starts school on August 8th. Check out her Jr High, I just can't believe it, O man. I hope we have a good year. Her school is like less than 2 miles from our front door. I might have to go into work today and work a few hours. Let me get off this POOTER.

Kimberly

Hey guys, remember Miannas friend Kimberly she is in the hospital. She has diabetes and her blood sugar was over 600 yesterday. I work with her mom Jessica and I hope she will be okay. I heard she was lifted to the children's hospital by way of ambulance yesterday. We took Kim to Camp Blanding with us a few weeks ago. She is a smart Strong girl so I know she will pull through on this, but I'll keep you all posted.

Okay so I got pulled into this SMS.ac thing from a friend and it just got to be too much. I was receiving way to many invites to become friends and it to irritation and then my account was being charged like 5 bucks, HELLO, I don't think so, I'm not paying 5 bucks to make friends with stranger over my cell phone. We are camping out at Camp Blanding this weekend, again! I think we will try to buy our own tents this Friday. I'm not so into the camping thing, but It should be fun this time, maybe I'll go swimming and get my fishing license so I can do that as well.

Birthdays

This pass week has been nothing but Birthdays all around us. My dad's B-day was on July 18, My mom was on July 21. Shela had hers on the 20th and then Janice turned 40 on the 22 and Garry also turned 40 on the 23. Happy Birthday to you all. My mom was in Guam spending her Birthday with my dad I'm sure, so I didn't get to wish her a Happy B-day. She should be home soon, I hope they takelots of digital pictures to share, I sure miss my homeland.

DVD-R

I found a brand new package of 50 DVD-R in a box in my messy garage. I must have purchased this a long time ago and forgot about it. I'm all excited now because I can back up my files and do all that good stuff. Tomorrow my friend Merranda is having a garage sale and so I was looking to find some stuff to include in her sale. I hope to have the garage cleaned out so I can surprise Rich with a garage opener and room to park his truck. LOL. Fun Fun Fun, this is how I'm spending my day off.

Duke

Duke has this horrible caugh and keeps making me jump out my seat, so I'm going to bed now. O my goodness he is so loud and it sound painful. I hope he will be is okay. I think I'll try to get him to drink some water. He seems to be breathing really loud too, poor Duke, I hope he is not sick. Our boy is so old he is like over 100 in dog years.

4 cups

I should have never had 4 cups of coffee at work, now I'm up late windows shopping. I hope Mianna doesn't discover this site. ehehhehe. SHE is a shopping demon. LOL

Camping

Friday we had our AIMD picnic, it was actually a luau complete with this huge pig. I didn't really eat much because I was so hungry I ate before we got there. I have such a phobia of eating with large groups now. I get sick like every single time I eat at a large function like that. I did have some free ice cream. After the picnics luau we headed over to the campgrounds around the corner and caught up with a few of Ritchie’s coworkers that had invited us to camp out for the night. I was a little skeptical that we would camp out because it was poring down rain and thunder with lightning just as we got the campgrounds. We all huddled under a little awning and just waited out the rain. I was so scared of the lightning since is seemed to be right above us. Thunder and light happens her in FL, every single day around the same time. Well eventually the rain stopped and we all started to pitch tents and set up camp. After we got things together I had to go home and let Duke out and pick up a few things. I found our air mattress we used when we first moved here and that always comes in handy for camping. I slept good that night but had to get up early to had home and let Duke out and also get ready to go meet my coworkers for lunch at Olive Garden. I was really hungry and just glad to be back with civilization, I like to camp out but I did miss the real world, ehhehe. I'm such a City Girl now. LOL. After eating our late lunch early dinner we had decided to take the kids to see Charlie and the Chocolate factory. I thought the movie was funny and Johnny Dep played a really good part, but I still love the original the best. After the movies, Mianna and Kimberly who was going to have a sleep over decided they wanted to go swimming at the lake so we headed out there and Dad took them swimming. I was not in the mood to get in the water and so I just hung out on the pier taking picture and watching the lightning show across the lake. Camp Blanding is a really nice place and the lake is fresh water and so no salty sticky feel after you swim and that felt nice to rich and the kids. Rich had spent the entire day out there fishing and he caught 5 bass but was only able to keep 2 that were over the limit in length. That night we cooked hamburgers and another guy fried down the fish, O MY GOODNESS, that fish was so darn good. Rich was drinking and so he decided to stay one more night and had his truck with him, but I had to come home so I could be up by 5:30 and get here to work by 7. Time is dragging on right now and my stomach is hungry. I wish I had some of that fish to eat.

Baby Madison

Last night I got home to find a new family member for the night. LOL. We were baby sitting Madison and she was with us all night. This little girl has wild sleeping pattern. I had to keep on top of her every move while we slept in our queen size bed. At first she was in the middle of us and then woke up for a second and wanted on top of my chest, and then she flips over to her side and into my arms and then back up on my chest, back to the middle of the bed and then flipped up on Rich. We slept like this for about 1 1/2 hours of her rolling back and forth between the two of us. Madison doesn't really like men so she stuck to me and Mianna like glue. LOL. I just loaded her up in the car seat and her and Rich took off in the truck to daycare. I have to say it was nice have a baby in the house again. We can borrow her anytime I get the bug. I took a few pictures of her and a few pictures of our new truck. I'm off to bed after this, it's too dang early for me

Tropical Depression 5

It's so crazy!!!! Dennis just left, and had our share if wind and rain, flooding. And now a new tropical depression that will most likely develop into a hurricane, is on it's way. We have water damage in our garage already. Not sure how it's getting in, but we need to have it looked at and call the builders.

7mile Update

I have made no time to blogg. We have had little effect from hurricane Dennis, but it looks like we have 2 more storms brewing and heading to FL again. I have been a little stressed and now I'll porbably be even more stressed. We have lost both of our old cars, due to age and Now we own two brand new 05 cars. Yup we got a new 05 GMC 4x4 for Rich and it only had 7miles on it. I'm happy with the purchase and we got over 7000 bucks off of the price, whooo hooo. we just have new car payments, that I hate, but we have to do it if we want reliable cars to drive to and from work. I will be stressing to make the payments, but hey, we have to do what we have to do. I will probably cut back on lots of things we use to be able to do, like eat out. Belive it or not we use to spend about 500 a month on eating out and no commissary shopping. I hate the commissary here and try to stay away from it as much as possible. I shop at walmart, target and Winn Dickie. Anyways, I just wanted to blogg and tell you all we are alive and still kicking. The weather outside is very dark and rainy.

Fire works

I got off work just in time to watch the fire works , but we missed Six Feet Under. :o( I'm up waiting for it to come on at midnight. Sunday will be a new time for our show, so I look forward to that and not having to stay up late on Mondays to watch it. I get off work at 2pm on Sundays and Ill be able to watch my favorite shoes. I also watch Entourage.

Fun

Yesterday turned out to be so much fun. We ate at the crab shack and wile we were there a raccoon walked up to our table. After dinner we stopped at Micky Ds for ice cream cones, apple pie and Rich had a hot fudge sunday. I took a really cool picture of the water droplets on the sunroof of the TL and then we got dressed to go out and meet Merranda and Steve at Harmonious Monks for drinks and dancing. Merranda pulled me to go dance on stage with her, but I forgot to give Rich my camera to take a picture of that. This bar is all live music and performances by the waiters and waitresses. No more 323

Yesterday we gathered all the thrash around the house so Rich could take it to the dump like he usually does. When he left the house, he took Duke with him and only got 3 miles. He called home and said he had bad news. The Mazda 323 died. That car has been a trooper with over 140,000 miles and 13 years old. No more 323, I'm sad. Today we ran around shopping for a truck. Looks like we are back to the one car thing for the next few weeks. We have to shop around and find Rich a truck he likes. We did come across a few on base for a good price and I'll have to do some blue book checking to see if they were asking a good price. Anyways, it's too dang hot today to do car shopping in this 90 degrees heat. We are off to eat crab shack!!!! mmmm

I made it home in time to watch the BET awards. O man, Ciara is performing with Luda. HOT> I love the BET awards. I went one year and stood on the red carpet.

Skinny no more

Okay, so Im not my old self. I can only fit a few of the jeans on my closet. I use to be able to slip into a size 0 or 1 and now i'm moving up in size. I HATE 31 and I'm almost 32 now!!! NO. I need to get in shape. my ass is growing. I tipped the scale at the most I have ever weighed in my life and I'm scared. Rich says if I gain 5 more pounds I'll be good. NO WAY JOSE. I need to fit back into my old size. I'm hitting the gym.

Our Master Bath

We finished painting the master bathroom, but I'm still not done adding my final touches. I want to add shells to the fishnet and can't seem to find the ones I like. I do have a few that I picked on the beach with Mianna. The blue tape is down because I might paint that shelf, but not sure what color. I love the colors we chose. The counter top matches the paint, and we didn't even try to do that, the color in it stand out more now, and it's all the same colors. It's so much fun to be in the bathroom with the new paint. I just can't wait till the smell goes away. We only have one window that opens in our bathroom and it's not enough to vent the entire room.

NASBLA

YEAH!!!! Rich has passed his boating saftey course and handed me the certificate today. He asked when can he buy his boat?.. O loard... We do want a boat so bad, but we will have to save some major mula for a boat. LOL. I told him, we will stick to renting for now. I'm ready to hit the sea. :o)

Slithering Snake

When Mianna was returning from her walk with Duke, she ran in the house screaming, SNAKE SNAKE SNAKE. We all ran outside to see the snake at our front door. I took a few picture of it before it slithered away. It's a harmless water snake.

Tropical ocean retreat

We finally finished the bathroom. Rich had decided he wanted to put another color in the bathroom, so at the last minute we ran to Home Depot and picked a color in less than 10 minutes. We went with a sand color. Our beach retreat is now complete with the cool jazz to represent the color of the ocean and the sandpoint to represented what else... Sand. And the back wall by the tub is a darker turquoise collar called sweet rhapsody. When we get it all cleaned up, I'll take some pictures to post

Cool Jazz

I just started painting my bathroom with a color called cool Jazz. I wanted a color that reminds me of the water on Guam. I'm not done yet, but this is what it looks like so far. The lighting is really dark in the room,so the true color is hard to see. Check it out on BEHR. Painting is so hard, once it's all done.... Then starts the fun. Decorating and adding the touches. This is going to be my ocean retreat. I'll add fishnets and lots of sea shells. I'll have to hit up Michaels and some local fishing store for some authentic net. I want a real one. I'll make a little wall by the bath tub with shells all over and lots of color with my candles. I'm so excited to finally have my motivation to decorate.

Jaxs Beach

Friday we spent the day at Jaxs beach with Merranda,Sadie,William and Jenny. The tide kept moving up on us and so we kept having to move our towels back and back. We even rescued a few towels and chairs that didn't belong to us. It was such a fun day and for dinner we ate at Al's Pizza. Helicopter

I got up super late this morning at 9:30 and realized I'm the only one home with Duke and need to take him out since he didn't get to go this morning when Rich woke me up 1/2 sleep to say he was running late and that I needed to get up and walk Duke. 4 hours later I finally got up. While I was out walking duke in my all black attire (dump thing to do in FL at this time of day) I was startled by a helicopter flying directly above me. I figured they were going to be arrest me for wearing all black while walking the dog in 90-degree heat and humidity. LOL. Anyways, the dang helicopter kept doing circles around our neighborhood and I just kept having visions of some masked thief running in my neighborhood that would probably scar the crap out of me. Or was the helicopter mistaken and thought I was the crook. It was too dang hot and early to having loud ass helicopter flying over my head while I'm trying to make Duke go poop. Finally he went and as we walked back to the house all of my neighbor on my street were outside looking up into the air. I have no idea what was going on, but this goes to show how rare it is to have a helicopter flying above your neighborhood. I guess I wasn't the only one alarmed and what ever it was I hope they found it. SCARY.

Beach

Yesterday we finally went to the beach. As soon as I got off work, I drove home begged Mianna and Rich to go with me but Rich didn't want to go. Mianna and I got in the old car and drove out to St. Augustine Beach. We had so much fun walking on the beach and just playing in the sand. We picked up some pretty shells and then headed into town. We ate at Kilwins Ice ceam and candy shop and mmmmmmmm it was so awesome. I didn't bring the camera and so I have no pictures to share. I was sad not having the camera and kept wishing I even had a camera phone.ehehheh. It was nice and warm, but not hot and mugy. I kept my mind clear and just relaxed while thinking about nothing but havig fun with daughter. I do have an old picture of us from last year in St. Augustine. I'll just post that one for fun. The funny thing is I have a picture of us outside of kilwin's last year and didn't even know I had a picture of this. ehehhe. I can't believe we have been here 1 year already. On our way to the beach we drove over the draw bridge and had to stop because it was lifting to let boats pass by, We also noticed the gay pride flags flying high on the bridge. I did a blog about that a few days ago.

My neighbors dog is loose

I called the owners to tell them their dog is loose again. They have 2 dogs, one is named Duke as well and this one is the girl, I'm not sure what her name is. She has been wondering around the street, just locked out of her home I guess. The owners don't know she is loose and I hope they get her soon, before she decided to go out on the HWY again. We gave her some water and might see if they don't get her today, if she needs food. Mianna is out there with her now, she likes to bark, we will give her food. Duke is so gelouse, and wants to get at her, because it's a girl dog. ehehhe. We don't have a fence, so we can't keep her, and I will not let her in my house, she sticks and I'm not sure what Duke will do to her, It's too hot for the garage, and so she is better just free in the front yard. Mianna has been so caring of her. Mianna even sat outside and played with her.

Beauty

While at the mall yesterday this lady came running up to Mianna and me. She literally was running and we were just walking through the mall. I hate it when people come up to us like that, but She just wanted to pay a compliment to Mianna and say that she is beautiful. Mianna gets that all the time and I'm not just being conceded. I might not see what these people see, yes I know my girl is beautiful, but all moms know there girls are beautiful. Anyways, I think we are a little numb to it, because it's an every day occurrence and just not a big deal anymore. We said thanks and started to walk away, but then she got in front of us and was like, have you ever though about modeling or action? Mianna was like, modeling sounds fun. So she took down Mianna's info and said she would call us. They want Mianna to come in for an audition. This is John Robert Powers. My cousin and aunty Max did it when they were on Guam. Maybe it will be some thing fun for Mianna to do this summer if she likes it. I'm always a little skeptical about these model things, I hear they take your money and leave you with glossy pics and all kinds of crap. I have no idea, but I'll keep you all posted on this.

Chef Ricardo

I have to tell you all, I married the worlds best cook. LOL. I got home from work on Thursday and could smell the food from the garage. Rich, Mianna and Duke were all outside with the garage open and just ready for me to drive in, park and get in the house. Its always so nice when they meet me outside like that. Rich has attempted to make our favorite lettuce wraps and OMG, this thing tasted better than PF Changs. All we needed was the white noodles, but Rich couldn't find them in the store. But the recipe was his own recipe that he just winged and OMG it was just so awesome. He has to teach me how to make that one. Friday I cooked steak and this morning, OMG I woke up to find blueberry pancake and regular pancake with fresh blueberries and strawberries awaiting me. MY man is so awesome and such a good cook. I ate so good this morning and my belly is in heaven. mmmm

Shark Boy

Yesterday I took Mianna window shopping and then to the movies to watch Shark Boy. Mianna only wanted to see it because of the 3D feature. The move SUKED sooooooooooo baaaaaaaaad. Don't waste your money on it.

Tropical Storm Arlene

Well guys, the first storm of the season and thank god it's not a hurricane. Arlene is in the Gulf less over 300 miles away from Jacksonville. The outer bands stretch out far enough away from the center that they are covering much of Florida. Some of these bands may be able to produce tornadoes at anytime today.

It's only drizzling outside but it's very calm and no winds at all. We will keep you posted if we happen to have any adverse weather or tornado warnings

Trugreen Chem Lawn

Since we moved into our new home we have been getting the yard treated with Trugreen. I like the way it looks and it really does stay green. I just wonder if it's worth the cost. We pay 46 bucks a month and thats not too much but it seems like I should be able to do it alone. I bet if I went out to buy the supplies I would probably come out with the same cost or more. And then I would have to do all the work. NOT, just have them spray the yard once a month and keep it at that. Anyways, I'm not sure why I'm writing this, I was out paying bills and when I got home I seen the Trugreen truck parked in front of my house. My neighbor on the end, is pregnant with twin boy and girl, she gets her yard sprayed too. I forget her name, but I'm sure Rich remembers. The house I wanted to buy on the end is having a pool put in. I wish we could have one put in as well. I know it would cost as much as the TL. Why doesn't money just grown on trees. ehehhe. I have to get up and take my butt butt to work now, I need MONEY. lots and lots of Money. remember that song???? I'm out, have good bloggin day to all.

Okay, since I couldn't get to sleep and was up early this morning, I sat up in bed and read the paper. I came across this article and was so taken back by it I had to read it twice. The paper was just filled will so much importance I had to read every article. LMAO. I also liked the one where Duval County has FINALLY banned corporal punishment in that school district. HELLO, I didn't even know they were using this paddling for decades, here in FL. CRAZY and only in the south. This place is twisted majorly twisted. O. And on another good topic, the courts ruled an okay for the Gays to put up their gay pride flag on display during gay pride week. HELLO!!!! I'm sorry, but I'm very opened minded to lots of ideas and the pursuit to happiness and the rights of woman and children and HUMANS. I'm from GUAM, but I've lived in CA most of my life and so I'm very cultural and very open to Gays and you know what I'm getting at, I just found it so nuts that this back ass South is just now catching up to the times of today. HELLO!!!!!
Back to the subject of my title, they let this guy cross in to America from Canada on the eastern side here and he was holding a chainsaw with what looked like dried blood? Or rust? And he also had on brass knuckles. Would you have let this guy across the border? THEY did, and he killed some old couple in NY.Another crazy... HELLO!!!!!! I have to find the picture of dude and pot it, because he looks absolutely CRAZY

Home sick

Okay I did it, I called out sick. I feel better now, but not 100% and no nausea since 8am so that's a good thing. I hate to take the day off since I need the money, but I think I have enough sick leave to make up for today. I ate some chicken teriyaki that Rich made last night and my stomach is making weird noises, but thats about it. A day off for being sick and I just don't know what to do. Let me relax and watch Sling Blade. Did I tell you all about watching Dawn of Dead the other day???? Oya I did, stupid movie, but the suspence had me hooked. LOL my compter was just tripping, man I some times come across some crazy mishaps on this Mac. I want to go to the new library and get some books. LIKE I read, LOL.. speaking of reading, I have to get up early tomorrow and take Mianna down to her middle school for a reading test. She had been placed in intensive reading and they will test her to see what level to put her in. My girl can read, she just clams up when it comes to test and so the FCAT score was not good enough. She is all worried about it, I told her its no big deal and that the test to me is DUMB, but she will do fine. I must be delirious, I'm not making any sence now. let me get off this adictive piece of machinery

3 hours of sleep

HELP....... Man guys, I have no clue what is wrong with me. I started feeling sick at work, around 4pm and last night it wouldn't go away. I was up all night tilll 8am this morning and I think I only got 3 hours of sleep and not all together. It's 10:30 now and normally I would get ready for work in an hour. I'm trying to see if the nausea is gone by just being up to decide if i'm going to go to work today or not. I was up all night listening to Richard snore as I rolled back and fort on my side, afraid to lay on my back because I was foaming at the mouth so much I thought I might fall asleep and choke on my vomit. I never did hurl, but the nausea was so bad I kept a plastic bag by me on the side of the bed. No poops or nothings, so is it a weird bug I have or a touch of food poisoning? Okay so far I'm feeling Okay. When Rich got up at 5 to get ready for work, I told him I had been up all this time and he felt sorry for me, and had asked me why I didn't wake him up. He was snoring so loud I didn't want to disturb him. LOL, I did mess with him a bit and I watched him sleep with such content that I was happy he was asleep. He joked with me that I have twins in my belly and that was why I'm sick. Lord if I'm PG, Im not saying that I am, but that is a possobility, I just think it's not the reason for this sickness. Okay, I don't know, I'm not a doctor, and maybe if it doesn't go away or if I get it again today, I might just go to the DR. I'm not one to run to the hospital, I will only go if I'm on my death bed. Okay, so now to decide on what to do. I should jump in the shower and see how it makes me feel. I'm not dehydrated, I have been drinking water all day long yesterday, but that could be a small possibility, I guess. You know how some times you go a few days and don't realize your not drinking enough water. I normally drink several of the tiny cups of water at work, because my throat gets so dry while I"m in the process of answering my 150 calls for the day. LOL. Okay I'm up to get water now. I just love how I reason with my insanity on this blogg. LMAO

Update on my job

Okay so I'm still there and it has been 3 days now. Today I got to spend a good 20 minutes 1 on 1 in a room with my boss as I took a survey thing. They do this every year to make things better at work. It was full of all sorts of question, one in particular that asked. " Have you ever been irritated with a customer and showed rudeness back to them?" Well the question went some thing like that. I had to mark I felt sternly about that one. ehhehehe. My boss gave me the disgusted mad look today, the, I'm intimidated by you just a little bit not going to confront you look. LOL. I'm sure she is over it now, and if she had to speak to my customer I'm sure she handled it well. She never said a thing to me and so LIFE moves on as a reservation agent. I have a string of few Bitches today on the phone and I must say I handled my self well. I think Black woman come across the most as having a moody or bitch voice on the phone. I have to stop and think for a moment, but I'm that way myself, not on the phone, but in person and I don't mean to come off as a bitch, but I'm real strong and expressive with my speaks. I'm up late, but I'm feeling better. I was sick all day at work with a headache and nausea. I"m not sure what has gotten into me. They were teasing me that I'm pregnant and even Rich said, "it's my surprise to you" ... NOT. I don't know, I was just sick all day. I just drank some warm milk and I feel better now. I though I might have gotten a touch of food poisoning from Mickey D's. I need to get off this and write my cousin in jail. He was a little down and feeling blue. I just couldn't imagine being locked away in a cell. I feel for him and I try to write just to keep him lifted.

Six Feet Under 32: MAKING LOVE WORK

O man, I got to catch the last 1/2 hour of my show and then stayed up to watch the beginning on HBO West. I was very impressed with the start for this new and final season. There was so much emotion in this beginning and secret will definitely be revealed. Brend and Nate got married and while Brenda was watching the tape of Nate's marriage to his first wife, they showed her talking to guy who I think might have had some thing to do with her killing.... O the suspense and the drama. I was only speculation on that idea in my own right and I'm not sure that Brenda or Nate were looking at it in that light. Anyways. Brenda miscarries her and Nate's baby the night before the wedding and that was sad.

Okay so you know I'm hooked for the next 12 Mondays. I wish I could have some Six Feet Under parties. ehehhehe. I'll have to try and enjoy every moment of this awesome show. Uuuuh. I just can't get enough.

Could I be out of a job tomorrow

Anyways, I though I was going to have a good morning at work today, but it was just the opposite. I had this one caller who just took me to the edge and so I hung up on here so that I wouldn't say anything stupid. She called back and I was about to transfer her, when I hung up on her again. I'm sure she took my name down, when she asked for it and I said.. "Virginia like the state, write it down. Click. LOL. I told Rich I will be fired tomorrow for sure and all he could says was "good you need another job". Mianna even agreed with him. Anyways I know I'm in for a ear full when my boss gets the call from this lady that made me all irate. It doesn't take much for me to get that way, but anyways, I'm not sure if I'm stressed over the call or just the entire job at this point. I think for the most part I wish I could have a little more patience, but it's just not in my nature. I love to fly off at the mouth and like I've never been shy about it.

Kit Kat

Mianna is over at Kit kat's house spending the night for her B-day sleep over. 7th graders that have yet to grow out of the sleep overs. Personally I never ever had one when I was little. Rich wants to take me out on a date. I'm not sure what we are going to do. I'm just so hunry all I can do is think about food. Last night I made Kalua Pork and had the left overs for lunch today. I have to sleep early and take my butt butt to work at 7am. Sunday is usually and easy day back at work for me. Monday is the hell hole and then the rest of the week is pretty much the same. People travel so much during the summer and eveyone wants to go to San Diego. I book for over 40 Navy Lodges and we just added about 150 civilian hotels worldwide as well. I can even book for Hotel Del. A few of my coworkers have booked some of the 300 a night rooms. I have only booked the 116 buck rooms at the Annapolis Inn. I'm surprised buy the price since our most expensive Navy Lodge is 100 bucks a night at the MiraMar Inn. Hawaii had pretty good prices at 99 bucks a night for the suite. I wouldn't mind paying that. I have payed upwards of 200 for the W in SD and LA. Too bad we don't book for the Standard in Los Angelos, I like that place. The W is still my favorite and now they take pets too.

Ladder shelf

Maybe this is what I need to buy. I have been so afraid to affix anything to the walls in my house. Plus I'm still not done with painting, but things just feel like it would be to concrete for me to nail it to the walls. I should probably buy a few of these ladder shelves. It must be having a new home that scares me away from wanting to decorate it. LOL. I have had zero modivation what since we moved in.
