Vaction Adventures
For our entree we had Chilian Sea Bass Moromiso-yaki and Rock Shrimp Tempura (Ponzu or Creamy Sauce). We had some complementary shrimp appetizer and for dessert, we had the famous bento box, it's a chocolate soufflé with green tea ice cream. O my god I live for the bento box and wouldn’t be surprised if I try to make trip down to Miami every other month just to have it. We were going to go home but decided to stay one more night and have dinner at the place I’ve always wanted to go to, it’s called The bed. I saw this place many years ago on E TV and it just sounded like a neat concept. This place is set up with many beds all around the room and two beds in the center of the room. We had a bed off in the corner near the bar and it was just perfect for a quiet dinner out. I had a nice size 9oz lobster tail called Lobster Santos hence the name “Santos” its a
Caribbean Lobster, Baked Pineapple, Celery & Tomatoes with Coconut Cashew Ginger Sauce. It was mm mm good. Rich had the Filet Mignon Tenderloin with Herb Roasted Red Baby Bliss Potatoes, Shoestring Zucchini and Squash with Choice of Cabernet or Gorgonzola Sauce 36. We fed each other in bed and we also had a good bottle of red wine and to top it all off for dessert we had Fire and Ice Molten Chocolate Cake topped with Vanilla Rum Ice Cream with Carmel and Chocolate Sauces 12. The Fire and Ice was okay, the bento box defiantly puts it to shame. After we were done eating dinner we stuck around, because the restaurant turns into a nightclub and it was themed Al Capone night for a costume party. I was already dressed up a blond mistress, with my makeup done professionally by this lady down the street in a little spa shop. Rich was dressed in him Kenneth Cole from head to toe and it was looking hot. I tell you they do know how to party in Miami. I danced with a naughty nurse, Ali G, Lil John and Rich ehehhee. It was such a fun place to party. We got sleep and headed off to our hotel room, that was just down the way in what looked like little Spain or a Spanish town are of Miami. Over all we had a good time and those of you closes to us would love to hear all the juicy stories you know we have to many to tell and could never mention them in blogg. Eheheh. Yes life was full of fun and play for our vacation and it was long over due.

Continuation
Sorry, I have been working like a mad woman ever since I got back from LA and today is such a rare moment for me, I only had to work at my regular job and so I'm home uploading my pictures from LA. I didn't take very many, but I'll post a few on flickr. So after we left the airport and headed back to Erins house to pick up her boyfriend Westin and then we went to eat at this cute Mexican returned. We had plans for the evening and headed back to the house to get ready for our night out. I wasn't sure where we were heading but after we got downtown Hollywood I recongnised the club was one that I had been too many years ago with Myke and Mary and now it was a not a rave but just a regular club. As we walked across the street to the club, we were crossing the street with Lloyd from Entourage. If you have no idea that is, it's one of my favorite shoes on HBO and Lloyd plays the secretary to Arie. Erin had recongnised him and asked if we could take a picture and so we stopped at that corner of the street while Westin took a picture of us. Lloyd was heading to the same club. We had so much fun , we watched DJ AM, that's the guy that use to date Nicole Richie off and on and he performed while the Parker dude, with all the tattoos played the drums and Too short rapped. It was such an awesome perforce and we stayed to watch the entire thing. After that we left to another club down the street and danced to 80 and 90's music, also some 60 and 70's. I was surprise I had so much energy since it was late, but really late for me since I was on east coast time and just couldn't believe how long my day was feeling. By the time we got home it was close to 3am and felt more like 6am for me and so I really didn't get to sleep at all. I was so jet lag, that I just lain in bed and stayed awake. The next day we had lots of running around to do and get things ready for the party the next day. We ate at this really good Cuban place and that was my first time to have Cuban sandwich and I really liked it. Later that day we just cleaned up at Erins parents house and got stuff ready or the party. I can't remember what else we did, but I think we ate out at another restaurant for dinner and it this was like an Irish place. After all that we just went home to rest up for the big day. We got up early Sat. Morning and we shopping at this ware house down town LA not far from China town and it was all vintage dresses. While we were shopping Erin pointed out to me that Michelle Williams from Brokeback Mountain was also in there shopping among us. She looks really tiny in person and her face is flawless. I can't believe she had a baby. I was really excited shopping in this huge warehouse with a famous star and everyone was getting undress right in front of one another since they had no dressing rooms. We had blast and Erin found a vintage 50's style bathing suit to wear for her pool party. I found a few dresses that were really brightly colored and cute. After all that the party was a success and I think everyone had a fun time. The taco guy she hired to cater was a THE BEST tacos and almost as good as my tacos ehehhe. I didn't want to get up the next mornig but I did and caught my flight to Arizona and had a 2 hours delay and was able to see Ron and Davina. I was so happy to see then since we haven't see one another in over 2 years. This was a rush story of what I did in LA, but I did mention all the fun parts.

Fractured pinky toe
Mianna is still asleep since she is on west coast time and so I suspect she will be having jet lag for about a week. Just in time to get back on schedule before school starts back. I'm going to clean house a little and then maybe take Mianna to Kohl's to look at some stuff and then go to Dads friends house for this retirement party. It's to nuts with everyone around us retiring and we are almost there with 2 1/2 years left. Man time sure is flying by. We still don't know what we want to do or where we want to settle down. I love FL and do not want to sale my home. But by Sep, we should start looking for orders.

Tropical Storm Alberto, which stengthened between Sunday and Monday, is holding shy of hurricane strength. As of 4 p.m. CDT, Alberto's maximum sustained winds remained at 70 mph, 4 mph short of Category 1 hurricane strength.
Hurricane warnings were issued today for a portion of the Florida Gulf Coast. A hurricane warning means hurricane conditions may occur in the next 24 hours. The warning area covers the Gulf Coast from Longboat Key to the Ochlockonee River. A tropical storm warning has been extended northward to the Savannah River on the Atlantic Coast.
There is a slight chance that Alberto could reach minimal hurricane strength before making landfall around Taylor County, Florida by early Tuesday, but the storm seemed to weaken a bit on Monday afternoon.
Locally heavy rains may induce some scattered flooding but the general area has been very dry lately. Many locales will pick up 4 to 8 inches of rain with isolated 10-inch amounts possible. A storm surge of 8 to 10 feet above normal tide levels can be expected in the warned area which extends from Longboat Key to the Ochlockonee River. Isolated tornadoes are always possible with landfalling tropical systems.
The Season Ahead
Experts say the 2006 season could be another very active one. The latest forecast from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) calls for 13-16 total storms, 8-10 hurricanes, and 4-6 major hurricanes (Category 3 or higher).

Seeing more clearly now
I got my eyes checked a few weeks ago and it just so happened it was on the day I had my pampered chef party and Lugo's going away party. I remember I as blind for about 4 hours after I had my pupils dilated. YUCK that really sucked! Today I picked up my new eye glasses and everyone at work likes the way they look on me. Mianna said I look younger and look like a college student. Now all I need is my braces and I'll really look 20 some thing. ehehhe. I love my new BCBG Maxazria glasses. ehehhe, I had to go designer... I'm such a nut. I have contacts ass well, but only need correction in one eye with the contact. I had Mianna snap this shot of me in my new look.

Minature Horse
I was at my Dr appointment today and this lady had a minutre hores for a guide named Conffetti. She had such soft hair and nibbled on my leg a little. I really got a kick out of Conffetti and instantly took a picture with my cell phone along with video and I blogged it from the Dr's office. ehehhe. My testing went well, but they did find that I am missing about 75% of my balance and it stems from a vistibular problem. I will have to do some physical therapy to retrain my brain to register my movement and balance and I should be a Okay again. I can't believe my brain had only been operation on 25% balance... that is a huge percentage. It's not only the barin, but my ear balance and the brain registering the balance.... WOW, anyways, I'm on my way to more recovery and I feel good about it. Todays tests made me so dizzy that it brought back memories of a few months ago when I was having bad vertigo.

Back from Tampa
We got up early Friday and drove 3 1/2 hours to Tampa and got there a little too early to check in, but we Decided to go ahead and book the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. This was a really nice and I mean nice hotel. It's a lot nicer than the Hard Rock in Vegas. We were able to check in an hour early, but before we did that we went to the historic downtown and ate some sushi at a really nice place. I had my Hard Rock Special massage booked for 2pm and while I checked in to have my swedish massage with hot rocks, Rich and Mianna checked into the room and decided to hang out by the pool and play a game of pool. The Spa was really small but soooooooooo serene and beautifully decorated. I was in heaven with this massage and hooked for life. I will have to strive to get one at least once a month or every other month. I wish I could aford it every 2 weeks, like I use to get at the old apartments. After the massage I hung out in the spa and layed down in the steam room for about 10 minutes and that was really peaceful and relaxing as well. I was going to get into the indoor jacuzzi but decided to join my family outside and just in the jacuzzi out there. But before I left the spa I took a nice shower and fell in love with the huge shower head that come down on me like rain. I want a shower head like that in my bathroom... ehhehe. The pool at the Hard Rock played music under water and Mianna was amazed by that. I never got to hear it because they had a live band playing when I got out there and had turned off the music. We had to stop swimming after the life guard had found some thing that wasn't quite right in the pool. I suspect it was poop from one of kids that were down that end of the pool. We were at the deep end and so we never saw it, but they shut down the pool and we all retreated to the jacuzzi that was right next to a huge waterfall wall. After swimming we decided to go back to the room and get dressed and head to the mall. Rich got his watched sized and Mianna and I just tooka look around the mall and had fun playing in Sephora and bought some dirt; no not real dirt, but the hair product by Johnathan product. I love it and it really works. After the mall closed we decided to eat at California Pizza Kitchen and then headed back to the hotel. Rich and I went out at a little after midnight when the club Floyds opened up and we almost cosed it when we left at 5:30. I danced my boody off and had such a good time. The drinks were so over priced but we still had fun. I was too pooped to go gambling and not really into gambling so Rich went back down to play a little poker. No luck for him, but he had fun. The next morning we got up and requested a late check out and got ready to go the Bush Gardens. The park was fun but we didn't really have enough time to ride too many rides. Rich got on the huge coaster called SheiKra. I better get my butt butt to bed now, it's almost 1am.

Rich bugs me to buy him the new 06 Corvette and that thing is faster than teh XK with 505hp. Talk about fast as #$@&. Like I could really buy it for him, he knows I can't buy it if he can't buy it, but it's nice to have a dream car.

Popsicle sex
Popsicle sex
The only way to pull off a Sunday afternoon quickie with their 8 year old son in
the apartment was to send him out on the balcony with a Popsicle and tell him to
report on all the neighborhood activities.
He began his commentary as his parents put their plan into operation:
"There's a car being towed from the parking lot! ", he shouted.
A few moments passed .. "An ambulance just drove by"
A few moments later, "Looks like the Anderson's have company", he called out.
"Matt's riding a new bike....."
A few moments later, 'Looks like the Sanders are moving"
"Jason is on his skate board...."
A few more moments, "The Coopers are having sex!!"
Startled, Mother and Dad shot up in bed!!!
Dad cautiously asked, "How do you know they are having sex?"
"Jimmy Cooper is standing on his balcony with a Popsicle."

My surprise trip
Rich had been telling me all week that he had a surprise for me on Friday and to make no plans. I was like okay and really though nothing of it but then Friday came and he says, pack some outfits, we will be gone for one day and we are spending the night and not coming back until Sat. I was starting to get so excited and he helped me to pack a few cute things and some good walking shoes since he said we would do lots of walking. When we got in the car I had a feeling we were going to go north and I was right. As we left the FL border and headed into Georgia I stated to guess that maybe we were heading to Savannah. I was right. Rich surprised me and took me to Savannah Georgia to enjoy the festive celebration of St. Patricks day. It was a fun day with lots of walking along the River walk and we drank some beer and I also had the famous Wet Willie frozen drink. mmmm it was soooooo good. We stayed at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf resort. And spa Our room was so BEAUTIFUL with all the luxury you would want in a hotel room. We had a double message shower head in our bathroom and feather down pillows and comforter on our queen size heavenly bed. We had 2 beds in the room with a little sitting area by the window with the view of the river. O , I was in heaven with the few and took a few shots. It was nice to watch the sunset from up in our bedroom window. We were on the 12th floor and so it was really nice being so high up. We took a ferry to the other side of the river where the celebration was going on with about 500,000 people walking up and down the river just having fun and drinking and laughing and eating. When we first arrived we watched some of the St. Patricks Day perade. We stood in line and got a giant turkey leg to eat for dinner and drank lots of beer. I wanted to go out clubbing but got so sleepy after about 5 beers and one Wet Willie. Rich was also sleepy and so we just called it a night and took the ferry back to our hotel room. I wanted to get a message in the hotel spa, but we didn't really plan on doing it and so we will have to do it next time. Rich just called me from work and said that he has booked out hotel stay for NEXT year already. ehhehe. He wants to go back to bad that he called to book the room. I will have to make sure I surprise him and book the most luxurious message for one entire day and surprise him. HEY don't read this blogg RICH, eheh, no he will probably read this, but for realz I'll book us a romantic message. I love my hubby, when he surprises me with such a fun trip. Thank Richie boy. I love YOU. You really feel right at home in a Westin Hotel.

Frog and Hamsters on the loose plus lost pearl
I'm glad to report that the family is doing much better now. I'm on my way to getting better everyday and have the week off from physical therapy and still have my test coming up in a few days. My mom is home from the hospital and on her way to recovery. I haven't spoke to her yet, but she is a little out of it and just stays in her room at the house. My grandma and aunt are taking good care of her and so she will be just fine. Richie's dad had a little bit of a scare and had to go to the ER and spend one night in the hospital. They told him he needs to relax and have less stress. He was worrying about me and probably some other things and that was causing stress on him. I told him not to worry about me and that I'm getting much better. I had a fun weekend with Richie and Mianna. We hung out the mall and the St. Johns town center and I took Mianna shopping at her favorite store Limited Too. I also got a new shirt at BEBE, it's just to die for. I have it in white, but they only show it in two colors online. Rich was saying that I should work at the store so I could get the awesome employee discount and they were actually taking application and so he got me one.... hehehehe. I have so much to do around the house and have been feeling a little stress myself. I came home today, to find a frog in my bathroom. I was going into the toilet area of our bathroom and its an inclosed room with a door and all of a sudden I seen a frog jump from behind the door. I wanted to take a picture of it but Mianna caugh it for me in the empty trash pail and put him back outside, before I could take a pictures. Too funny. I love it when the frogs come out in FL. So besides loose frogs we have Loose hamsters too. YUP our bear hamsters have escaped from there cage and are some place lost in the house. We have no idea where to look for them. I will put some peanut butter out on a couple of spoons and maybe that will bring them out. I'm too sleepy to try and look for the hamsters now, and Mianna is off to bed, so maybe Rich can find them when he gets home. Oya, I forgot I dropped my Valentines gift (pearl earing) down the drain this morning and Rich had to rescue it for me. ehhee Thing need rescuing in this house. Mianna just found one hamster in her bathroom, phew! One down and one to go. I'm about to go now.ehhehe. I will have to take a picture of my new pearl earing to show them off, Rich had such good taste when it comes to pearls or just to jewelry in general, and he picked such an awsome pair of earing for me.
O no, Duke is eating the peanut butter and he looks so funny!!! I need to geet this on video

Therapy today
Anyways, I might have to look for a new job. I just can't deal with the fustration of my call center, but I think it's because I'm so worked up with the vertigo, that my patient with ANYONE at all is very little on non existent. I doubt people I work with truly understand what I'm going through. I just wish I could go back to normal. I had an episode today that was stonger than the normal, but still not as bad as the first few weeks I started to have my vertigo. I can walk now and do all normal things, but it just takes me more time to do some things. I'm driving on my own and that makes me happy. I hate feeling this way and I'm just getting so fed up. UGH. Yeah, this is a blogg to vent. It doesn't help that I'm having PMS too, but I just need a bath and some chocolate. Calgone take me away!

$18.99 a lb
Mianna spotted some crab claws and wanted it for dinner. I got her 1/2 lb for a little appetizer and she is in heaven. This girl loves almost all seafood know to man. She also loves raw oysters and just informed me that she need to practice shucking oysters for the shucking contest in her science class. We just ate oysters over the weekend and Rich is getting good at shucking. I have my favorite pinwheel salmon in the oven now with this stuffed talapia that I'm trying for the first time. Rich is at work now, but I will save him some for a late night snack. I love eating seafood since it's so light and almost no fat at all. I can see why Japanese people stay so healthy and skinny.

I'm working on painting our spare bedroom and have one wall done already. Mianna has been a big help with the painting and it's fun to see the room transform. I'll post pictures as soon as we get it all done. It will be a very serene guest bedroom in shades of lilac and deep purples.

Neurology and Physical therapy
I went to my neurology appointment and it all went well. I also had a physical therapy appointment and will continue that for about a month. I learned a lot of exercises to do at home and at work. I have a note saying I can go back to work for 1/2 day for the next two days and that will give me time to feel out how my vertigo treats me at work, if that makes any sence. I feel good about going back and trying to take is slow. I do feel better, but still need time to heal. My physical therapist made a make ship towel brace for my neck and it really helps to get me use to the positions that make my vertigo apear the most and help with keeping my head steady, yet I have to take it off from time to time so that I don't get a stiff neck. I'm ready to return to work and at least try. I'm still have to have another MRI and MRA.

Test I will have soon
Electronystagmography, which attaches small wires to your face that measure eye movements. It looks for the special eye movements that happen when the inner ear is stimulated. The pattern of eye movements can point to the location of the cause of the vertigo, such as the inner ear or the central nervous system.
I will have more of these done on my brain stem area, already had the brain done and it was good
Imaging tests, such as magnetic resonance image of the head (MRI) or computed tomography of the head (CT scan). These tests may be done if symptoms could be caused by a brain problem.
I had a hearing test today and just had problems with high pitch, but noting too bad
Hearing testing to detect hearing loss. A special hearing test can determine whether the nerve from the inner ear to the brain is working correctly. Hearing loss with vertigo usually indicates a problem other than BPPV, such as Ménière's disease or labyrinthitis.
Summary of my BPPV
O, my goodness, just to get all off subject I have to tell you that my birds are whistling to Ludacris song, Georgia...it's too funny, she was bumping to the beat real good. O my goodness she is really doing this, now she is doing it to this Pharell song and I'm just busting up at them as they play in the cage and make little noises with the beats, too funny. This is I; I just speak my mind and have to get all off the subject at the drop of a hat. I think it would be much better for me to update my blogg by voice, since I'm trying to type with vertigo, LOL.
I have to try and keep things as normal as I can and this is one thing that makes me so happy. I love to type and sit at my computer, hell I work with a computer all day, and it might not be in the way I would prefer to and on a system that most people don’t even use anymore. Yeah, my job is so behind the times as far as technology is concern but O well. I miss my coworkers. I have not made it through an entire workweek in over a month now and it doesn’t look like I’ll be going back anytime soon. I am trying my hardest to get well and it looks like it’s going to be a long and slow process.
Rich woke me up this morning and had all kinds of news for me. He is the BEST and I will tell y’all with all my heart, that he Listens to me and is such a take charge and caring person. I truly have my soul mate. Anyways, he woke me up this morning and said, babe I have an ENT appointment set up for you and it’s at 10:30 today. Big smile from me but a little wine in my voice, because I was up until 1:30 this morning and I’m just not a morning person and probably would have slept the day away. Ehhehe. My baby knows me to well and I’m so happy he got me in to ENT today. You all know I was hospitalized for 2 days and had a CT and MRI test done and that all came back good, but with the hearing test I had today at ENT, they found that I had high tone hearing lost in both ears and my DR had suggested more MRI and MRA test for my neck area. When I was in the hospital they were only focused on my brain and that was all good. We have to rule out nerve diseases and then we can move on from there. I’m a little excited about gong to the specialist in town, because they will run some really fun and in depth test on my motion. I’m only looking at this entire process as fun so I can make it past all of it with flying colors and FIX ME already. Dam it!!! No more drugs for me. I have been drug free for 4 days, but did take IB this morning for my cramps that are kicking my butt. I have to try and take Valium alone to see if it helps my vertigo and then let the DR know what it does for me. I have to try and go back to work, but Rich says he will take leave to be home with me and I'm not going back to work. =o( for now. sad face from me. I don't want to have to use saving to live, if we run out of money to pay bills. REAL LIFE. that is what I'm worried about.
Balance is determined by a complex combination
of inputs into the brain. These inputs are:
Vision
Proprioception (sensation of position of joints)
Inner ear

Feeling good at the moment
I'm out the tub now and had to stop typing from the tub for many reasons. First, I'm using some expensive laptop around water, ($1700.00) reason #2 Could damage Gray's Anatomy DVD $(19 bucks) reason #3 Virgi getting electrocuted, (priceless). Most of you who know me, can relate to my accident prone ass! I'm feeling much better just sitting her on the love seat in our formal living room just taking in the scent from a mango, papaya candle that Stacy from work, just brought by a few minutes ago. My friends at work have showed much concern for me and Stacy is one of my good coworkers that I get along with well. I'm almost completely off of the pills they gave me but I have been taking Ambien to help me sleep. I only take 1/2 a pill and so far, have only had it twice at home. Meclazine doesn't make me drowsy anymore and only makes me sick,so I have been fighting the vertigo and not taking a DAM thing. I'm stronger than this and I'm going to get past it. If there is one thing I know, it's that I'm a stronger little Guamanian lady with a temper and stamina of a Tiger! ehhehe. I miss the stability in my legs and feel it's gone from walking around like a darn old lady with no balance because of the vertigo. I have 8 days off from work and I will take as long as I need to get better. I will do as I please and remain strong. I miss being on the Net so bad, I was having withdrawals at the hospital.
Rich has been taking care of me like a queen like he always does and he is watching the las 8 laps of Daytona 500 and I wish we could be there in person. Next year we will be there. It's a very gloomy day with a bit of a chill. I'm off of here to watch the last 3 laps.
