COLD -Freeze warning

Just read Ingrid blogg and we are so opposite with the weather here on east being COLD as hell. It's 31 out but it feels like 24 with the wind chill factor and will get down to 28 as time goes on. I'm up really late or should I say early. I can't sleep, think it's my meds. :o( sucks, I'll be so sleepy tomorrow. I plan to wear my fir coat, hat, gloves, and scarf. Click the title above to see our crazy weather.

A VERY COLD ARCTIC AIRMASS WILL CONTINUE TO DESCEND UPON THE AREA TODAY...SETTING THE STAGE FOR FREEZE AND HARD FREEZE EVENTS THE NEXT TWO NIGHTS.

TONIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING...TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO FALL BELOW FREEZING AFTER MIDNIGHT AND LAST FOR 4 TO 8 HOURS. MINIMUM TEMPERATURES WILL GENERALLY BE IN THE MID TO UPPER 20S WITH SOME LOCATIONS EXPERIENCING A HARD FREEZE. ALONG THE ST JOHNS RIVER AND OTHER INLAND WATERWAYS...MINIMUM TEMPERATURES WILL BE CLOSER TO 30 DEGREES.

APPROPRIATE ACTION SHOULD BE TAKEN TO ENSURE TENDER VEGETATION... OUTDOOR PETS...AND EXPOSED WATER PIPES HAVE ADEQUATE PROTECTION FROM THE COLD TEMPERATURES. YOUNG CHILDREN...THE ELDERLY AND THE HOMELESS ARE ESPECIALLY VULNERABLE TO THE COLD. TAKE MEASURES TO PROTECT THEM. IN ADDITION...WIND CHILL TEMPERATURES WILL FALL INTO THE LOWER 20S DESPITE WIND SPEEDS LESS THAN 10 MPH.

MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING...CONFIDENCE IS INCREASING FOR A SIGNIFICANT HARD FREEZE EVENT. UP TO 10 HOURS OF SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES AND LOW TEMPERATURES IN THE LOWER TO MID 20S ARE LIKELY. THIS WATCH WILL BE UPGRADED TO A WARNING WITH SUBSEQUENT FORECASTS
