Day 2

It has been a very long time and I forgot about this blog. But today I'm 27 weeks and 6 days pregnant and not feeling good for the second day in a row. I don't know what it is. I'm not the type to have nausea ever. I never even had in the first trimester and that is most common. I suppose I'm a first timer having nausea in my almost 3rd trimester and I'm just not use to this. I eat and about 10-30 min after I'm sick to my stomach and nothing ever comes of it just sick feeling. The only other note worthy thing to report is that this baby is so active and ruff. We have no names yet but we did find out that we are having a boy due sometime in November.

This was dad's last day with us in Jaxs , he was just down for the weekend and is now back up in VA.

Making up for lost time

I can't keep up with my blogg, but It had been so long I couldn't remember my info to get on and blogg. I was so behind with time, that I just watched the last episode of the season for Lost today. Yeah I know it's been off for some time now, but I was the one with no time to watch it. As soon as the baby went to sleep I watched it and he woke up when I had about 30 minutes left and we watched it together. It was nice to fast forward the commercials. I was just Lost, as always and can't wait till next season. Talon has been very fussy today and it makes me think he might be teething.My excitement for dad to come home makes me just want time to fly by. I was planning on going to the west next week, but looks like money wise I need to save it all for when dad gets home and so we can have some fun when he gets home.I will need to take this boy to his crib and hope he sleeps as good as he has the past few nights.

Rolls Royce

I just can't believe how fast my son is growing. He is so much fun now with his laughter and smile. He actaully screams or squills more in the morning time. I thinks it's his way of opening up his lungs and letting some oxygen in. Today I got a new toy for my boy and I love it to death. It the Rolls Royce of stroller, "hence the name Royce". LOL anyways it's the Stokke. I'm so stoked about this stoller. Some people would say we are crazy, but hey if a vacum cost about as much as this and it makes life so much more easy and I'm happy, then so be it. I would rather have this stroller than the one I use to have. It moves with ease and is just a delight to see the reaction on my baby boys face as he is up and interacting with me and his surroundings. I think he might just sleep really good tonight because he was up most of the day just enjoying his new found perspective on things. O ,YES, he is up to eat... gotta go. The susu is too full. :) He ate and went right back to bed.

I gave the sad new to Rich, he is sad his boy is gone. But he did recall all the times he would

westle with him and spin him in circles on our floor. He would take Duke on little trips to the

Dump when he was done with yard work on the weekends. Duke loved car rides and sitting up front in your lap if he could. The last real long road trip was over 3000 miles from Cali fo Florida and Duke loved every minute of it. He was such a people dog and he was more human

than dog. We will miss our black bear.He has so many different nick names along with stories over the past 16 almost 17 years.

Last night Duke was just not doing good. So after about 2 hours of saying good bye and crying we just went to the vet today.Mianna had called it and said she wanted to put Duke to sleep. I didn't want him to suffer any more. He was showing clear signs of a stroke and was not very responsive or active at all. He wouldn't eat or take his meds. Around 3:30 today we put him down. Mianna didn't want to be in the room, but stayed with him and held him as he passed. The water works have been off and on all day. Mianna is at her friends house trying to keep her mind off of it.We cleaned the house and so there is no evidence of Duke around.I'll print as many pictures and make and album for her.We are having him cremated and need to buy an urn to put his ashes in.We had Duke for 17 years.

Rich is such a romantic. Even without us he finds a ways to let us know he is thinking about us. He wrote such cute little notes on his wine critique sheet. I had to read them on the large size. I love this man too much and he is such a romantic.

3 months and 1 week today. Talon is really growing a little personality. he is so much fun to play with. He started talking really loud today, it's almost a scream of some sorts, it's so cute. Its as if he hears his own voice and just kept doing it over and over this moring. I need to catch it on video. My little Aquarius is sleeping is his crib right now. I have time to do some house work, so I better get of this computer in a little bit and start on my chores and maybe get in the shower.

My poor baby Talon had his 2 months well baby check up today. They gave him his shots and he screamed his head off and turned beet red. After the 3rd shot, he stopped crying all together. But now that we are home he is in pain, and will scream if you even go near his thighs were they have hime the shots. He had bandages on both thighs. Its so hard to believe my baby boy is already 2 months. He weighs 11lb 2oz, gained an entire pound in just a little over a week from his last trip to the hospital when I had to take him into the ER. It was nothing big, he just had a hair in his eye. His length was 22 1/4 inches. He has come a long way from his birth weight of 5lb 13oz and his length of 19 inches. He has been asleep for over 3 hours on his sister chest on the couch. She loves to hold him while he sleeps on her chest. It her most favorite thing to do with him. I use to love having her sleep on my cest when she was his age. O man, it's still not real to me that we have him. Daddy is in Italy and should be calling soon. He really misses his little Porko, that one of his nick names. I mostly call him handsome or little Rich.He is just too much, you want to eat him alive.

Talon at 7 1/2 weeks old. He had is first trip to the ER to have a piece of my hair removed from his left eye. The Dr got it out with no problems and not even squeak out of Talon

Time

I have so much to say about time, First off it's flying by and my baby boy is like 7 weeks now. Second I have no time anymore. How can it be that time is flying by so fast and at the same time I feel like I haven't got enough time to do all that I need to do. I think I'm a little stressed with all the days in and days out with the baby and trying to balance my time seems to be a big challenge for me. I have a 16 year old dog as most of you know and he is just going downhill with his health. I find my self taking out my anger on him, but he causes most of my anger with him messing the house. How can I find the time to take care of the baby and mop up my floors and clean the carpets, more than 3 times a day because he messes it up so bad. I had to vent to Rich in email and to my daughter. Baby girl has been so great with helping out with the baby and with dinner.I hardly get to sit at the computer and surf the net or just blog. I have little time for me, no me time at all. Well right now Talon is asleep in his swing and I should be eating since I hardly have time to do that, but what do i grab to eat, candy. I did eat breakfast at like 2am this morning, I have to grab food when i can because the baby never likes to be put down. i have to have him on my hip 24 /7. he will not sleep unless he is rocked or in our arms and then you can put him down and hope he doesn't realize your putting him down. I will say he has used his crib everyday and would be in it now ,but the swing was closer and I'm playing Sade music for him. My neighbors gave me his first cd player for the crib, i just need to make some CD's for him. They also gave me a baby monitor that I just love. I used it yesterday so that i can keep Talon in the crib for his afternoon nap and run around the house folding and putting away laundry. I finally unpacked my suite case from our trip to VA. I want to take a trip to CA, but it looks like we will not have a chance to with Duke the way he is in health. Mianna should be home anytime now and I'll jump in the shower, not sure what I'll eat for lunch. I am so tiny compared to before I was pregnant. I have no butt, all my clothes are loose and I'm just wilting away it seems. I'm about 110, but no muscle mass and my boobs are like DD's now. it's a good thing to be small, but when I can't fit my bottoms because they are big and can't fit my tops because they are too small, its fustrating to get dressed to leave the house. I will just wear sweats and old shirts around the house and boob tubes as my friend in Australia would call it. Its so much easier to wear a tube top when your breast feeding. O lord, Talon just started to fuss, see, time is just not there for me, I guess I'll have to get some soup to eat while I hold him in my arms, or pass him off to Mianna since she just walked in the door. bye folks.

I went to look at my Ical on valentines day and this is what I saw. My Hubby left me a cute note. We flew out to VA that day and spent 5 wonderful days with daddy.

Step 2

I began to get my hospital bag and put the last minute stuff in it since it was still not packed all the way. All I could think of was I was alone and didn't want to go to the hospital alone. I was scared that contraction would start right away but thank goodness it didn't. I made few phone calls to the important people who said they would be there for me and they were there. I decided to get in the car and drive to Miannas school that was 2 minutes away and pick her up. I spoke with Ingrid and I think she was the one who told me to go only if the school is not that far away. She also advised me to call the school so that they would have her ready for pickup, but I was in a panic and couldn't find the number to the school. I also passed the exit to the school and had to turn around. Once I had Mianna with me I become very calm and happy. Baby girl thought she might have to do some illegal driving, but lucky for us I only had 2 small contractions and we made it to the hospital safely. Rexy phoned that she would be on the way, Beth also phoned she would be on the way and some how Jon called to say he would meet me at the hospital. I think Beth might have called the job to let them know and my boss allowed Jon to meet me at the hospital. He was the first person we seen walking in the parking lot towards us. He actually got there before we did.After checking in we got our room on the Labor and Delivery floor. I was very nerous about Rich making it there ontime, but it couldn't have been more perfect than right out a movie.Rich left VA at 4:30 and got to FL around 6:30, got to the hospital about 7:20 or so and we had Talon at 7:42. Dad was there to watch the entire thing and even cut the umbilical cord twice.It only took me two sessions of pushing. You push is sessions of 3count, so by the 6th count, Talon entered the world.

I kept the email and text messages as a still moment in time for memory as to what went down that day.

Step 1

Adea Calls from WA and it was 12:21 east coast time. I talk to her for 26 minutes and hung up just a few minutes after I heard the loud POP! I told Adea she was coming to the bathroom with me and I wasn't sure what I was going to find, but I was scared. I wasn't sure if It was a fart or just a loud popping noise that seem to come out of the air. After I hung up with Adea I typed this on my cell phone and sent it to Rich

I had a local photographer here in in jax takes some fun pictures and this one made it to the interesting photo on the flickr site. Check the attitude in my hand placement. LOL. I love my belly. I was wearing my Arden B top that I bought while on vacation in Seattle. And my Bisou Bisou Jeans that I could still zip and button. But had it undone since my belly just seemed to be a little lower than last week when I was able to wear this pair comfortably.

1cm and 60% effaced

Okay so I went to see my Dr today and I'm 1cm and about 60% effaced. I've been cramping and in pain, it's all starting to happen. no contraction on a regular, but just the braxton hicks. I want to hold out for 11 or 12 more days. I still have so much more I need to do around the house and my mind is starting to go crazy. O man. baby is moving around allot and just so gentle as ever. I have to go into work tomorrow even if today was suppose to be my last day. They want to give me a going away, but I'll be back, so I'm not sure what they want to do, but it's kinda a little until I get back.... I guess. I'm off to bed.
